Great new gas station to dump and pump tires for free :)
As the other comments say, there’s no potable water, only to rinse after dumping.
The dump station is by the gray cinder block building and the air for tires is on the side of every pump.

Nice, level little bridge. We stayed on the opposite side of the street from Sanders Fish Market and didn’t notice any 15 minute limit signs on that side of the street, but did see a sign on the Sanders side of the street. Occasional noise from cars and people on a Saturday night, but not bad.

Can confirm, that there are "no car"-signs at both roads.

Lugar amplio y fácil de acceder, tranquilo considerando que está en medio la ciudad. Las personas que trabajan allí fueron súper amables, hubo un evento previo a nuestra llegada y hasta nos ofrecieron comida. Hay un río que atraviesa el parque y espacios para parrilla. Hay muchos patos ! Son súper amigables.

Dormimos 4 noites aqui, foi tranquilo e silencioso, mas em nenhum momento deixamos o carro sozinho, não nos sentimos confiantes em deixá-lo, devido ao histórico de furtos em Bariloche . O local não possui facilidades!

We slept 4 nights here, it was quiet and quiet, but at no time did we leave the car alone, we do not feel confident in leaving it, due to the history of thefts in Bariloche. The place has no facilities!

Would be a super nice spot, but full of trash and lots deer bones. We moved on.

When I arrived there was one RV parked along the outside edge of the lot. then four RV rentals pulled in, parked in a row beside the other RV and proceeded to be noisy outside talking to each other and playing loud music. Didn't take long before all of the RVs including the first one were asked to leave. I am in a van, though it's fairly obvious it's a camper van, but was not asked to leave. I stayed all night undisturbed. So you may or may not be asked to leave, especially if you act like idiots.

The lot is full of RV’s and it’s very quiet. Great spot.

Nice spot in the middle of the desert, far enough from the highway. We didn't have to use our 4x4.

Stayed 4 nights at this gorgeous remote beach. Took us 1.5 hours to get there but well worth it. Some deep sand sections with newer detours but already suffering from deep gullies, 4x4 and high clearance definitively necessary. We only adjusted the tire pressure at the beach but could be useful already after Belane due to soft sand and bumps.
Locals said the road from Cheline was flooded, seemed to be abandoned. We left the tarred road at Mavanza, turned left/north at a T junction in Belane heading to the original road. Then turned left for the beach road close to Afo, then 12 km to the beach.

Very calm and peaceful beach. Beautiful vistas. As with many wild beaches lots of trash. Collecting the washed up garbage from the ocean became our morning routine... We cleaned the beach and dunes 25 meters around the camp (see pics), wonder if the effect lasts until the cyclone season...
Added dune climb and photos. No signal at all (Vodacom).
Highly recommended!

Loved our stay here! Clean bathrooms, fast wifi, fantastic pool, excellent staff, and beautiful campsite. Great Lake view! 15,000 kwacha per person for camping. Would stay again!

J’y suis arrêté pour prendre une douche seulement. Endroit propre et facile d’accès, 13$. Trop gros et bruyant pour que j’y reste la nuit. Je suis allé à 1h de route plus loin à l’ouest à Portage la Prairie dans le parc de la ville, ça vaut l’heure de plus.

Plusieurs stationnements disponibles dans le parc, avec table a pique nique. Bel endroit pour se dégourdir, assez achalandé mais pas la nuit. Stationnement plus éloigné plus noir car celui au centre est illuminé par la deco du parc. Toilettes ouvertes de 6 am à 22 pm.

Perfect campsite; fantastic views, lots of animals around (giraffe, zebra, kudu, wildebeest), free firewood to make a bonfire every evening, good ablutions with hot shower.
We did lots of walking; beautiful well sign-posted paths on the premises. Some nice climbs with impressive views. Sunset walk to great spot at the campsite. Animal feeding was a great experience for the kids. We had a very nice dinner one evening at the lodge, Andre brought us back to the campsite in the back of his pick up. All together surely a spot you don't want to miss out on if you're in the area! USD 15 pppn, kids halve price.

Nice rest stop with bathrooms and separate area for overnight car parking. Some train noises but honesty didn’t bother us. Felt safe but be warned I had no Verizon service. Not sure if it was just me but keep in mind just in case :)

We needed a place to stay on short notice. They had an after hours check in process on site , we did not have to have advance reservation this time of year and for a site even though the office was closed. Nice quiet rv park. Unfortunately the hot tub was closed for cleaning.

Estacionamos do lado do mercado “parada do veinho” ficamos procurando um lugar na cidade pois o outro ponto do ioverlander é do lado do bar com música muito alta! Os donos do mercado(João e Eliete)nos deram água e falaram que poderíamos usar o banheiro e a eletricidade se precisasse! Falei que ia colocar o mercado deles aqui no aplicativo e ficaram super felizes em receber outros viajantes! O terreno é plano é de frente a pracinha da cidade! Como reciprocidade consumimos alguns itens no mercado deles!

The price for a tent is now 140 E pp and you have to pay additional 85 E pp park fee (valid for 7 days).
Still free coffee, tee and full kitchen access. If you want, you can have dinner (150 E) and breakfast (105 E) there.
Easygoing atmosphere and fast wifi. The shower by the campsite was cold.
It's a lovely place to chill and go for a hike in the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary...

Ehemaliger Campground. Super Stellplatz mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und Feuerstellen. Wenn man die Abendfähre genommen hat, der Top Stellplatz!
Sehr ruhig.

Ótimo lugar pra passar a noite e descansar, tem tomadas, água, churrasqueiras, quiosques e sinal de celular, não paga.
Recomendável trazer tudo o que for consumir pois só existe uma conveniência próxima e o preço dos produtos é abusivo.

Hermoso camping rodeado de naturaleza, vimos más animales acá que en cualquier parque nacional (perezosos, ranas, aves, etc). Un lugar muy tranquilo para descansar en familia. El lugar cuenta con cocina, duchas y Baños súper limpios. Hasta hay un lavarropas portátil a disposición de los clientes. Muy buen wifi!! Agua, electricidad y buena sombra. Su dueño Marco es súper amable y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar y a compartir la la naturaleza que lo rodea. Hermosas vistas del volcán arenal. Súper recomendable!

Beautiful campsite surrounded by nature, we saw more animals here than in any national park (sloths, frogs, birds, etc.). A very quiet place to rest with the family. The place has a super clean kitchen, showers and bathrooms. There is even a portable washing machine available to customers. Very good wifi!! Water, electricity and good shade. Its owner Marco is super friendly and always willing to help and share the nature that surrounds him. Beautiful views of the Arenal volcano. Super recommended!
