Nice view over the town good for one night stop before visiting Algonquin. It started off quiet but around midnight a group of local young people arrived and were making a lot of noise, didn’t leave for a while. Should be ok on a weekday not a weekend if you want a peaceful sleep.

We stayed for 1 night in Campsite 1. We were the only guests since 4 days. Our site was nice with a big tree and a fireplace. As we asked for firewood, nothing was available, but the friendly Ranger allowed us to collect some around our site. Approaching the gate we saw elephants and Oryx. What a welcome!😉 The way from Ghanzi took us 5 hrs: 2 to New Xade (Gravel) and 3 to Xade Camp (deep sand)
PS Ablutions still destroyed by elephants

Great established Campground. Reasonable rates and good services. The 2 hour Temazcal was very relaxing.

came in late Saturday afternoon to ride then camp. Went to the primitive parking spot but got stuck in the ditch...not very deep but muddy. Thankfully able to push out with some gravel from the road and strong help. Ultimately, stayed near trailhead...don't park in the grass near the Pavillion. Did reserve spot online at campspot.com day before. Also called campground day before. Friendly staff answered all my questions. Bathroom and water spigot not turned on yet.

Found this place on the way to Bissau. Great to spend the night. Nothing special but a quiet open area. No people past by when we were there but there is a footpath close by. Easy to access with 2WD. Not far from the Main Road but far enough to be hidden and spend a quiet night.

Some nice campsite by a lake. Beautiful views. Clean ablutions with hot water. When calling the owners they are very friendly and helpful. we called late in the evening twice and they helped us. The gate had a code you can get if you are coming in late. R200pppn. We paid one of the workers the next morning. Number: 072 249 0408

Great spot for a night or two! Close to stores, no “no camping/overnight parking” signs, and pretty quiet! The whole stretch is several blocks long and there’s tons of space.

We contacted CG CAMPERS on two occasions this year for problems in the cell of our Laika motorhome. For a problem of water infiltration on the nasturtium windows and changing the blinds the first time. A few months later to fix the toilet then identify and repair a leak under the kitchen sink. Not to mention many small DIY projects that allow us to extend the life of our equipment (table, chair, etc.).
High quality work, we made a detour on our journey of almost 2400km from Santiago de Chile to get here, one of the rare places where we can have confidence in the repairs carried out. A must for travelers to South America.
CG Campers knows how to reassure, repair, advise and guide (if the problem is not in its area).
Not to mention the welcome given by the family and the pleasant space to park during repairs.
We were able to get back on the road with complete peace of mind thanks to them.
A big thank you!

I paid to park here until midnight on a Friday. It was then free until 8am on Saturday. Daytime parking is a little pricey and has a 6 hour maximum, but it’s in a great location for restaurants and bar hopping. There’s some street noise and you hear people walking home at 2am, but it was a pretty quiet spot in the heart of downtown Austin. It was relatively easy to find a spot big enough for my van at 4pm, so that’s a big win! I had 5g service on my phone, and there’s a grocery store across the street.

Both loops were open when we came in, but we were getting a little bit of snow due to a storm rolling through. The lava caves here are AMAZING! The campground looks well-kept and easy to get around in. A lot of the sites are on the pavement and are parallel to the main loop. That may be more of an issue with more people, but there were very few there the night we stayed.

Just as described. Take care with potholes, there are deep ones. Can hear the highway a bit but not bothersome.

Good (one lane) pavement halfway up, good, firm, slightly washboarded gravel the rest of the way. No problem for 2WD. Great view over the lake!

Not the cleanest or most aesthetically pleasing spot but safe and surprisingly quiet for being so close to a busy road. Had a good night in our rooftop tent. There are even a few palm trees to give it the slightest charm and some rats to keep you company. Toilets smelly but not too dirty. A young guy working there speaks great English and is very kind like 99% of Iraqis. Didn't allow us to pay anything.

Best reached via the Sheikh Ahmed al-Waeli street (32.628916, 44.037229) in our experience. Other roads Google and OSM maps sent us we weren't allowed to pass due to military checkpoints that turned us back.

The sites have an amazing view of Lake Powell.
The dry camping sites are mostly sloped and not level. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful.
dry camping (40 dollars) shower (3 dollars), washing machine (3.50 dollars) and dryer (2 dollars) all located at the main house. there are several restrooms scattered around the grounds.
Dump station and drinking water at the dump station are free. You may be able to use this access as a non-campground user if you ask.
There are also full hook-up sites, price unknown.
