Beautiful campsite surrounded by nature, we saw more animals here than in any national park (sloths, frogs, birds, etc.). A very quiet place to rest with the family. The place has a super clean kitchen, showers and bathrooms. There is even a portable washing machine available to customers. Very good wifi!! Water, electricity and good shade. Its owner Marco is super friendly and always willing to help and share the nature that surrounds him. Beautiful views of the Arenal volcano. Super recommended!

Better to stay somewhere else. Room was dirty, food is really overpriced and the camel desert trip is twice the price than when booked through other places eg Auburge Nassar

beautiful space between nice trees, next to many mango trees.

This information is from an RVer and I can only vouch for the applicability to RVs. 4 separate campgrounds. 14 day limit at A, B &D. 28 day limit at C. Sites are $15/night. Mix of 30 & 50 amp sites. Shared fresh water connections. No waste/ gray water hookup. Onsite dump site, free of charge. Reservations must be made through campspot (app or web). I recommend using the website because the app doesn't allow you to select a site, it assigns one randomly. WiFi is available at campground A for a limited time during spring and summer

We slept in our car here after a problem with our hotel reservation. We loved it. Plenty of space, full ocean view.

Nice quiet spot to stop for the night. Lots of space for any size vehicle. The walking trails are beautiful. We tried to stay at Edgewater park closer to town but police officers told us it was not allowed.

stopped at the spot above the quarry, going to Mamou it's on the left of the main road, small path down, works for big rigs, too. beautiful views, next to the road, you can hear it, but can't be seen. a few kids showed up, but were nice. also a few people walking by very closely, also at night.

Very easy process.

You need:
- copy of your passport (black&white)
- copy of your driver's licence (b&w)
- itinerary (simple table with date and town)
- visa application form with photo
- medical insurance

We also had, but didn't need, a screenshot of some kazakh site saying we don't need a visa for Kazakhstan.

Express costs 64.000 Dram (2 days), normal speed costs 32.000 Dram (7 days). Bring the exact amount, as you need to pay via paying machine.

We got eight days without problems, starting from the date we stated in the application form.

The consulat opens at 9:00, but visa applications start at 11:00. You can retrieve your passport on the date stated on the receipt, at 15:00.

Very remote and technical 4x4 to arrive at the hacienda. Great free stay, I did not have data in Honduras so did not realize Joel will guide you up, but he is more than willing to meet travelers. Virginia, the custodian, was extremely friendly, would probably be confusing for non-Spanish speaker. We had a great stay, but it was not the easy close to the border stop we assumed it would be per google maps. Guess we will check topography now!

There are 5 public parking lots along 6th Street. They are paved with lines and designated spaces for RVs. These lots are on the street behind the casino, post office, and grocery store. There are no “no overnight” signs and some of the lots had overnight cars from the adjacent neighborhood. There is no street parking along this street. This is a quiet area, located near parks and the walking path by the dam.

Dukan lake: amazing 360 degrees great views on lake and mountains. Flat space.
You will be visible from all sides but there are only a few locals that come here for fishing or farming. Police came by and said it’s fine to camp here.
Big rig accessible, no need for 4x4
Possible to make a fire.
No trash.

Has others say before. Nice big shop with many spare parts, if they dont have what you need, Mr Milani gonna help you to find it in the city. We arrive at lunch break time and need tires for our bike, we drove with is motorbike to a tireshop where we found what we needed, with really econimic price(yasa iran tires).
We drove back to his shop and they share their lunch with us and than bring my bike to next shop to buil the new tires on it. We realize my front brake pad where finish and he had directly in is shop (yamaha ttr250) , for really good price.
Everything was made in Iran, but for me enough because im just carring my bike on my truck, so i drive less km.
I believe if you need better quality he can also help, prise will be much higher i suppose.

Show of Thursday is now on Cholet Ratchet. It was easy to park there but the neighborhood can be messy due to the giant street market of Thursday.

Decent urban place for the night. I ended up a block over on Palafox St. The whole pier is free overnight parking as far as I could tell. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, nightlife, etc.

Great spot for the night. There was some music in the distance from what I imagine was a bar, but it was relatively quiet. Not much traffic in a lot overnight and very level. As stated before parking is free from 6 PM to 8 AM. I stayed a little bit after 8 AM and did not receive a ticket but got out by 9 AM. Strong T-Mobile 5G signal.

Booked this a last minute for a night. It’s a small park right by the water. There are about 10 full hookups with electric 20/30 amps sites and several dries. Very auto fast WiFi. All were welcoming and friendly. You must reserve the spot online at [email protected]
