The water is ok to take a shower or wash you dishes. But it sees to contain lots of lime, so didn’t drink it.

Nice spot if we forget the garbages.
Lot of mosquitoes but not that annoying as it was cold enough to have clothes on us !
The road is nice too. Smooth climb in bicycle 👍🏻

Nice little spot to pull off the road. Unfortunately no cell reception for T-Mobile or Verizon. Short drive to Wind Cave.

Beautiful, peaceful spot. Some snow mosquitos, but the fire kept them down during their prime time.

The shelter is very nice. However, it does belong to local farmers, and when I got there at sunset, the owner was there. I asked him if I could set my tent and he kindly agreed

Gravel parking lot at the trailhead. Big enough for a couple of big rigs. Quite busy throughout the day with people parking for trails so recommend coming later on in the evening for more space. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. Toilets not available right now (doors bolted down). Also no wifi found (but haven’t checked at the community centre over the road)

We spent one night here. A little noisy but ok. Cold shower.

Super Busy. Every site taken, only two tents all vans or RVs. This place needs an RV corral so tenters can use the sites. Disappointing.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet this rest stop was. The trees dulled the road noise that quieted down for most of the night. We parked in the truck/RV section and the trucks were NOT idling. Everyone was nice and respectful even though it was pretty full when we pulled in.

The car section had tons of open spots, but we opted for security in numbers.

Obscured parking lot just south of the old Loring AFB “alert area” just before the USFWD gate/office. Would not advise showing up during daylight hours. No water or shade.

Tiny grass rest area abutting highway. Cordoned off with rope and all the displays are covered with tarps. Wouldn’t recommend staying here overnight; very exposed.

Absolutely everything is locked up - no power/water/toilet access. Probably couple camp overnight without much notice. River access via ramp but launch is washed out.

Lots of spaces to park our 40' RV overnight. Other than their intercom, it was pretty quiet & we were left alone. Gas prices were decent & store stocked.

Lots of places to park our 40' RV. Other than their intercom, it was pretty quiet and we were left alone. Gas was a decent price and store was stocked. Has RV dump site & fresh water. We paid $10 but if they had told us they take Good Sam, we would have paid $7.50.

Very friendly receptionist that showed us around the campsite when we checked in. We had the option of camping with a private bathroom, or in a different area next to some trees and a braai area with a communal bathroom. Bathrooms were clean but the following morning there was no hot water. They let us use a private bathroom to shower which was very nice. There is a swimming pool and large braai area. The wifi is a bit slow and disconnects but still very helpful and appreciated. Overall a good stay. R210pppn

Stayed here last night. Large lower parking lot. There were three vans here and the larger RVs. Quiet but some road noise, but not bad.

stayed one night, fortunately, I was up early as a sheriff did stop by to let me know camping was not allowed. But still a nice spot to pull over for a short while.

Can stay 1-3 nights when signing up for players card (free) & signing stay permit (parking pass). They give you $10 free play too!
It was quiet and wonderful! Food is pretty good too. With player card they offer a $4.99 breakfast and offer various other player card specials during the week.
It’s dogs friendly too (must be on leash & pick up after them)
We had 2-3 T-Mobile bars while parked but the Casino has wifi too.

So far everything is as described.
The price today is 100 pesos per day and 100 pesos per night per person.
In total for two people with a motorhome 400 pesos.

Beautiful and quiet camping spot. We stayed a night and were rewarded with a wonderfully quiet night and a stunning sunrise. Had the place to ourselves. Sadly still a lot of trash laying around.

A bit noise but safe to sleep one night. They didn’t give us water to fill the tank. They told us that didn’t have water but we saw a water tap close today where we parked
