Great little area to park and stay. We were here several nights in a row. Just be sure not to park directly across from a house and you should be fine.

The park is relatively quiet and great for getting exercise. The bathrooms here are pretty clean, but a bit odd as they don’t have stall doors at all. They don’t lock them at any point, so if you need to go in the middle of the night, you should be okay.
Overall, this was a quiet and easy place to have a nightly home base while we were in Denver.

Quiet and convenient. We payed 15€ for 18 hours.

We made it here, from El Angel, with our Toyota Winnebago 89 with 2wd. We drove very slowly and we managed just fine.
The road is rough and some clearance is advised. The weather was dry so it might have helped.
We arrived at 5:30pm and walked up to the ranger lodge to ask if we could sleep inside. He told us that staying there overnight is not allowed anymore (due to an earthquake that happened not far from here and its replicas). But he very kindly opened the gate and made an exception for us. He was really nice and polite, we had a good chat that evening and the day after.
The area is gorgeous, the walk is a 2,5km loop and the views are amazing.

wonderful place at the end of a stone path with a view of a large pond. 2 possibilities: path on the left leads to tables and an area of ​​grass. the other path is a loop where it is also possible to settle down but no more stones.

Nice spot, very little traffic over here. No cell service, but a big open and flat spot to camp.

a paid parking but they refused to tell us how much it costs - for us as tourists fo free. we asked if we can stay for the night and sleep there and they said no problem but they close gates at 10 pm. we were meeting a friend in the other part of the city however so we didnt make it in time to the parking lot but I thought I would still add this place so people can use it.there is also water available there but no toilets. we just parked near the destroyed ninavah international hotel where we met with the friend because it is a very guarded area where many people come to walk near the road and hang out.

Update. The place is owned by Aníbal, a Peruvian enthusiastic guy who owns a safe storage for cars, vans and big motorhomes and a storage for motorbikes and gear. The TIP suspension and reactivation is totally facilitated as it takes just one hour to complete the paperwork. For long term storage the battery of the vehicle is connected to a battery maintenance charger system to preserve it in good condition. Mechanical assistance is available and he can take care of the car and fix it while you are away.
Anibal also helps with his address to receive parcels from abroad for travelers.
He has also helped overlanders in trouble with TIP paperwork, carta poder (power of attorney) and other legal issues.
Vehicle shipping service is also available now, either by sea or air to any country in the world.

Slept here for 2 quiet nights after we did not feel safe at Walmart with broken glass on the parking lot.

Stayed for 1 night, lots of trucks and vans, rvs. Quiet night. Infrastructure available like any other rest area but at this one 12 hour maximum stay. Felt safe.

I wasn’t able to withdraw money with my N26 Mastercard from this ATM, but managed at the ATM just a couple of meters further down the road (but charged a fee though).

Since I didn’t manage to get money from the Banco Union ATM with my N26 Mastercard, I tried this one and got 1500 BOB and paid ~49 BOB fee.

Very very busy place for boaters and bugs, but the stunning sunset and sunrise make up for it!

The only paper they forgot to give us at the ARG immigration was the Passavant, which we needed for the BOL adouana. Paid 20 BOB for the certificación.
