Tudo nota mil!

There is no view of the waterhole from the terrace but there is a path down to the Boteti. We saw Elephants drinking and also a Zebra. The campsite has a water connection but the water is brownish and not suitable to fill our tank.

Street parallel to the highway ending on a dirt Cul-de-sac, if you continue to the end. Road way (Sandy Prairie Road) has designated parking spots on the right and a small pull off/turn around to the left. Obvious highway noise, as well as a little bit of local car traffic. No obvious “no camping” signs that could be seen. Exit 685 off of 101, in Alton.

Place is for free and you can leave you can here while you do the trek. It is doable with 2x4 I had no problems and it’s rainy season (I think they have recently done some work on the road)

Stealth camping on a quiet street in Boston's South End. It was close to some good restaurants and good enough for a night if you can be stealthy.

Here you can do the para sailing. The 15 min. flying time is 195K pesos. They have various options available.
Instead of going to Mirador I would come here even if you are not flying. They have a restaurant and great views.

A small box with a lady selling sandwiches. The bean filling is DELICIOUS, she also makes fried bean-balls and sweet tea. 200cfa for a sandwich, mama Awa and her husband are super friendly, speak English and French and gave me good info about Gambia. Really revommend this sweet lady!

Public beach with shower, overfilled garbage buckets (typical) and playground. Paved road along beach side used in downtimes as racetrack. Access via train underpass < 3m. We have no clue for overnight because of the „racetrack“.
