I’ve been here 3 times now and it’s amazing value. My beachfront private room with private bathroom was $15. That includes a great breakfast next door at Juanita’s kitchen. The only downsides are that there is only 1 power outlet in the room so if you have the fane on and the fridge going, there’s nowhere to charge your stuff. The tiles are very slippery and the out door kitchen needs some work as well. But, come on, it’s $15! My motorcycle was secure. You need to bring in any food & water or you can just go the the great restaurant next store. I’ll stay here with Antonio anytime.

No ablutions or other provisions. Just a perfect, safe parking before/after Baviaanskloof. Ideally if you are self sufficient. Friendly people. Free of charge.

We stayed already at the rooms, but no running water yet. Slowly completing the guesthouses.

On google are 2x locations marked, the one on the road is about 150m away from the track to the Farm and the other one at the location.

Quite a lot was going on (weekday! even already busy at sunrise but quiet later in the morning)

nice place at the end of some dirt roads. very quit with some patches of grass (for tents). all vehicles can reach this point just go slow. sunset over göreme, walk distance to/into red valley. shops and restaurants nearby. I paid 20TL(motorcycle) entry into the red valley park. good 4G. firepit is ready for you. enjoy!

Now in June it’s amazing here. We have our private little beach, perfect view, a few locals and perfect swimming. Wow!

Flat spot next to a fountain. Grass spots for tents and paved spots for vans. Fireplace and trashcan used by the locals. I was there during the week and no one stopped at the spot. The road is very quiet at night. Perfect LTE coverage.

Rooms are 1100birr now. Hot water and fast WiFi. Beers for 70birr. Room for a few vehicles here.

Comfortable rooms with wifi, fridge & coffee maker. Standard price is P550, however as single person I was looking for low-budget accommodation (considering camping somewhere) and they gave me the room for P400. Only negative are the thin walls and you can hear the people in the next room.

Shop and garage with a great variety of any oils you might need for your vehicle. Very nice staff and fast and professional service for oil change. Good prices, too!
One of the mechanics owns a VW T3 camper and is very interested.

Just by the sand road there is a field with some big trees. Nothing was planted on the field in this season. I camped under one of these trees. Saw some people in the distance, but no one passed. You can sometimes hear cars moving on the sand road as well as on the bigger road a bit further away. Also from some village nearby, you can hear the prayer calls. Very calm.

They don’t take Malawian K but can call someone. Make sure to get rid of your MK before crossing the border. Exchange rates aren’t good for MK. Lost 30 % of value.

in this town there are two banks with atm. this one had cash on the fay we visited and the other didn't.
they are on the same side of the road just a few hundred metres apart - no charges from my UK Mastercard

One of the best places we've camped at in Turkey. Here you'll find a wonderful river that is not freezing cold but still very nice to cool down during the summer heat. Also the river is clean (besides some minor algae), slow flowing and deep enough for a good swim. Many trees to sit in the shade too. We saw no people here, no goats/sheep, no trash, just beautiful nature.

You can reach this spot by following Google maps and any OSM app like maps.me to this point: 36.9779964, 28.5815613.

Then you will have to drive into the riverbed and continue to the pinned coordinates (see attached screenshot for the route). You will cross the river twice. The first time is super shallow with firm ground, second time is a bit deeper (30-40 cm) with somewhat softer ground. When we were here 4wd shouldn't be necessary but this might depend on the season and weather. River was very low when we were here (not like you see on Google maps satellite view) but some decent ground clearance was necessary due to some bigger rocks in the riverbed.

The only downside is the limited internet reception (with Turkcell) but that shouldn't matter in an otherwise perfect spot like this.

Would be useful of previous entry would have mentioned this spot is NOT accessible by car.

To access this spot there is a little track going down from the main road. It didn't look used at all. There are some trees with low branches, but we managed to pass (2m20). Big rigs can very well park before the branches.

The spot is quite close to the road (not so quiet) but locals didn't see us.

Be aware that this spot is full of mosquitoes/flies and there is very little wind (so our car didn't cool down at night).

Good emergency spot if you don't have time to reach Cacheu.

Nice place with large areas. Only a few areas with shadows. Although the campsite is located directly on the road, it is very quiet because of little traffic. You have a nice view from the terrace.
200 NAD pP and night. For 230 NAD pP you can visit the Himba village.
We had breakfast in the restaurant, which was good for 150 NAD pp.
No WLAN and MTC is also not stable. Showers and toilets are clean and work. At the sanitary, you can charge your devices outside. No electricity at the pitch.

Indeed great view, but if windy it's very exposed as you are on the top of the flat plateau. For wind sheltered wild camp, we preferred to go few kilometers north of here, take the road down toward the yurt camp, and get lost on one of the multiple tracks down here, plenty of sheltered wild camping spot, far away from everyone and the yurt camp.

We bought insurance here: 2500 rubles for 15 days, van, 2.0 engine, H2L3, 3.5 tons

They didn't stop us here, we just slowed down and went on.
