This is a great spot, but it will no buy be a fee camp sometime this summer. The old park was purchased and under renovation. Sounds like the pricing will be reasonable. |

At the fork (where you arrive when following the coordinates), we took the right road and followed the gravel road until we found a big pull out, with a pile of wood). Flat, big enough for two vehicules, remote, rather peaceful (you hear just a little the highway). Some trashes around, we took some with us so it's better now, but not perfect. We stopped not far from the end if the road according to maps.me, but didnt go until the end, so we dont know what it is at the end (but it looks like a service road, no more).

Wide, flat, smooth industrial street with no parking restriction signs. Great for a good nights sleep. Especially quiet on weekends. Plenty of room for big rigs, but I don’t recommend staying in one spot for an extended period of time. This is a peaceful, homogenized American town and they don’t want dirty RVs hanging around anywhere for too long. For that, I recommend you go to the industrial park in Ventura instead. |

Info still correct. We did the crossing with a Belgian license plate in a campervan with two adults and two children. You pass the long line of cars on the left until you see a gate (see photo). We gave the security guy 50MXN and he let us in. Very friendly, asked us afterwards if everything went well.
At the US border you do not have to scan your passport (like everybody do) but you drive on to the migration officers. There you show your passport and they look at the inside of the car (no vegetables, meat,…).
Very easy and safe! |

Large gravel lot behind Shell station. I asked inside if it’s ok to stay the night & was told yes, it’s ok. Bought a sandwich & I’ll gas up here in the am. There will be road noise, but it will quiet down as it gets late. |

The VFW has (6) spots with power (sort of). There are (2) 30A breakers on a pole feeding all (6) locations. One of the two was not working so only one side of the 50A plug was hot. We had to go 50–>30. Then back up from 30->50 to get power our EMS liked. If anyone ran A/C the breaker tripped. Cost is now $30/ngt with power & $15 in the grass (about 4 sites). Sites are along north edge of the parking area so StarLink was pretty spotty. Otherwise, quiet, friendly neighbors, close to downtown. |

There are many beautiful spots up this road but this one is my favorite. You have a beautiful over look of the mountains, the trees block the sun in the morning but you have full sun all day. Theres no real shade. You can fit two Vans at this spot and there’s a spot just before this one (this is a dead end road), I wouldn’t take a big rig down the road since it’s a bit narrow and there’s definitely other spots that are easier for a big rig. My van is 2wd mid roof. I’ve had 3 bars LTE with AT&T, it’s not amazing but if you give it time you can watch youtube. Theres a small fire ring, you can hear people shooting sometimes, max stay is 14 days. |

Approx 100 sites, all with electricity. Pit toilets in campgrounds, central location with 4 shower rooms (1 currently out of order) with flush toilets and free showers. Wood is free and there is a handy cart to help you haul it to your vehicle or site (be sure to take it back asap for the next camper). There is a dog beach, playground, dock for fishing, boat launch and small beaches for people (no dogs allowed). Sites vary in size and some are very open while others are nice and private. Several hiking trails close by and some sand dunes between the 2 camping loops. |

This particular site is very flat and open with no shade, good cell service. There are a couple of sites on either side of this one that seem to be right next to the creek but those roads to them are pretty rutted. |

Great spot but the mosquitoes were swarming! Fortunately we are self-contained in our Ekko, but another truck with a roof tent finally gave up and bailed before they could get set up. I think later in the summer those pesky varmints might be better! Or be sure to set up before evening arrives. |
