Great hotel, best mattress I have slept in since Dushanbe. Still 60 somoni p.p. Kitchen available for cooking, must be kept clean. Tap outside to wash clothes, clothes line available. Toilets and shower clean. Sanatorium across closes at 10pm, would recommend for the experience.

The first room we were offered had cigarette smell which we politely declined, no issues in the room we slept in.

Big hypermarket where you can find almost everything (food, clothes, shoes, camping supplies, kitchenware, etc). There's also a pharmacy inside the building. A great selection of ready made meals and affordable prices. One of the best in Russia.

Super-relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, great quality food and beverages. Imho a must see in Esfahan.

ATTENTION! Officer tried to scam us. He asked us for the money and gave us receipts which were really hard to read (printed) and had names from strangers. ONLY pay at the bank, get the receipt, go back to immigration and get the stamp plus little receipt paper.

5. Customs Tanzania: no one at the window, they told us to go to the office at the scanner, that person issued the TIP but I still had to go back again and pay at the bank (5 USD = 7 days transit)

6. Scanner: show your TIP and go

pulled in around 1:00 in the morning and the gate was closed saying that the park campground was temporarily closed. no further information.

Thermal hot springs in nice hotel complex.Water has some 39 degrees. Two open Air pools for swimming. Entrance fee is 500 Ruble per person.Great place to take a swim after a tour to the volcanos.

I was here on 6/26/24. It’s mostly dried up swamps and pools - maybe was nicer 6 years ago. Now people are dumping their trash here and it smells bad, the riverbed and reservoirs are all dry.
Instead, there is a turn-off just east of here that goes to a beautiful open lake in a grazing pasture about 1km north in the direction of Kaindi. Fishermen use the lake for fishing. You can let the locals know that you plan to stay there if you see any. Otherwise, it’s just public land.

We were twelve tourists but the group split up and it didn’t feel crowded.

Beautiful wild camping spot, very close to the river. 150mtres from the river. This area doesn’t belong to anyone, it is community land from the Maasai so everyone is using it.

Every day shepherds pass by for brief seconds, sometimes chatting little all very friendly. We stayed for multiple days.

In this area are Zebras, Hippos, Antelopes as well Hyenas…elephants come here but we didn’t see them.

The path down has quiet some rocks you have to figure out a way. It is not possible to drive closer to the river as the rocks become bigger and steeper. Safaricom connection is available (4g and 3g ).

please 🙏🏻 do not give food, money or anything to the locals, do not spoil them with free things.

Nice hotel by the river with lots of room for campers. Offers laundry, restaurant and bar. Really lovely owners.

Simple but clean and comfy guest house in this AMAZING floating village. 150 cedis to enter the village, 140 for the boat (go and return), room is 100, meals for around 50. One of my favorite places in West Africa. Contact Mensah on WhatsApp and he'll help with everything: +233 55 761 2935.

Quieter than most Cracker Barrels (minimal freeway noise).

Potable water from spring with good pressure and three tabs beside a very small mosque. Good access.

As described, also room to park before heading down road. Road runs beside a small pond, quite pretty but you might want to back in as there is no place to turn around. You could be blocked if someone else parked as there is little passing room.

Quiet public beach. No camping on beach. Overnight parking appears to be allowed. Only two parking spaces but street parking is an option. I spent a night here undisturbed.

BB in parts department was really helpful. He ordered parts from the South Africa warehouse. 4 business days wait every time but it worked for us and was worth the wait rather than get stuck in the middle of nowhere. Ask for 20% and even 25%

Perfect spot! On gravel, not fully levelled but we managed with levellers. Incredible views of the valley and sunset. No signal. The scary old cow lady came by asking for a lantern and other stuff. Other than that quiet very night. Adding photos for reference. Enjoy this awesome spot!

Campsite $150pp and basic rooms $280 (single)/$460(for two) with shared facilities. This includes a small kitchen with appliances (stove, kettle, microwave, toaster oven, fridge) and some coffee/tea in the room.

Stayed for 3 nights: very helpful people at the reception, good food in the restaurant and a few nice areas to hang around.

Some minor inconveniences: wifi is good but doesn't reach the basic rooms at the back + I arrived by foot on a Sunday and the chef was not in (restaurant was closed), so had to walk back up and down to town for food.
