So if you plan on staying overnight it’s 50 bucks regardless of if you use a hookup. The front desk said they give you a sticker. Not sure if it’s patrolled, but out of respect I’d pay…or find somewhere else bc 50 bucks is STEEP

As everyone else has said this is an awesome, quiet spot with incredible views. Down a gravel road and there appear to be a ton of spots dispersed through the road. Starlink service was great with no high trees around it was totally uninterrupted. Two bars of T-Mobile but not sure of the speed.

We ended up staying here the whole weekend (because car insurance was closed). Very lovely place! For 300 som you’re able to do a tote bag of laundry. Price 600 som pp per night - breakfast included. You can even let Globus (GLOVO App) deliver drinks (also cold beers) ☺️

Huge gravel area for staying overnight. We’re opting to move up the road to Marion Creek. But this place is great. Diesel is $7.499/gallon. There is a cafe with a large selection at reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Showers $14. Small gift shop with Tshirt and sweatshirts. Also reasonable prices considering how far north we are. They say only 2% of Alaskan visitors ever make it this far north! There are signs about wolves in the area so we’re hoping to see one! 🐺 This place is what I think of when I think of Alaska!

Crowded, with lots of bigoted deranged people. One site seemed occupied by a pedestrian homeless person. Constant traffic. Scary.

We waited 1 1/2hour for a plate og chicken and rice. It was good. But it cost 3000cfa for chicken each. 1500cfa for rice for the both of us. We had a plate of fried bananas for 1000cfa.
All in all quite expensive. Still good though. If you have time.

Overnight is not allowed here. Police came at 11p and instructed me to move to the campground in town (Creekside campground). They said no overnight parking is allowed on this road. As I pulled away they were knocking on the door of another vehicle down the road.

This is where you can pay park fees and be assigned a scout to go with you into the park. It is about 1.5 km from the Sioma falls west entrance. Park fees for international:
- 5$ pppn for entry
- 15$ for car
- 5$ pppn for wild camping
- 10$ for the scout

They prefer payment in Kwatcha, cash only.

From here, it was about a 40km SW, 1.5 hour drive on a tight sandy track where I wildcamped near a waterhole with my armed scout. Separate entry made for the waterhole. There are toilets here.

Possible to wild camp here with your scout. Lots of animal evidence around and lots of birds. This is really wild bush.

The police knocked on my window about 11 PM and said Overnight parking not allowed. They instructed me to move to the campground in town (Creekside campground). As I was pulling out, they were knocking on the door of another vehicle down the road.

perfectly calm spot. We pitched our tent right next to the lake. No fires allowed, but there is a save space for a single pit campinggaz stove. The lake is perfect for swimming. There are a few mosquitoes, but not too bothersome. Wouldn't recommend big rigs, we brought a standard family car. But campervans should not have to much trouble

drinking water tap (no hose) and big parking lot at a very nice beach. parking is 2£ per hour.

We spent 3 nights and ready to stay one more as we are waiting for Totoya parts. The camp is very nice. Guests come and go yet it’s quiet and clean. Hot water and clean toilets. Still cost P146

Cute little coffee shop with free wifi. The friendly young owner uses local grown coffee (from Hluhluwe) and roasts it himself. The result is very delicious! They also have a rotating daily lunch menu and tasty cinnamon rolls, highly recommended!

From KZ to UZ. 5:40 hours in total despite special treatment on both sides. Very friendly officers.

Ideal stop for an overnight stay. We arrived after midnight. There were a lot of trucks.

Super bel endroit pour dormir, belle vue quand il n’y a pas de brouillard, un monsieur de l’entretien est passé et ne nous a pas dérangé. Beaucoup d’espace pour petits et gros VR. Très tranquille. Aussi toilettes publiques.

Received a municipal patrol friendly reminder notice that no camping no overnight is allowed.

Stayed 1 night. Would recommend it if it was not for their dogs who bark ALL NIGHT for no reason! It’s very disturbing and we had a bad night. The owners don’t do anything about it.

Flat spots on grass, wifi, noisy. Beautiful location with stunning views of the mountains. Toilet building didn’t seem cleaned in a long time but was cleaned shortly after our arrival. Agua potable but you need a 30m hose, there’s only 1 a tap in their house. Electricity also only in their house.

We got a bit weird vibes and felt like we weren’t welcome. Around dinner we went away for 1 hour and they locked the gate. Whilst we had already paid for the night. They also disconnected the electricity extension cord. Then making up excuses like the electricity is not working and we can’t connect. After long discussion we fixed it ourselves, it was weird. Same with giving the WiFi password. 25soles per night.

I visited the location today.

The road is bad, dont go in there with a trailer or RV. Difficult to turn around.

I need to report some important detail that is missing in previous reports.

The road materials, stone, gravel looks promising when entering however there are major obstacles in particular at approx. 75% of the road: 2 very deep, large potholes that even single vehicles 4x4 vehicles with high clearance would have difficulty navigating. They must have been caused by previous ioverlanders during muddy conditions in the last 5 years. Then there are the linear ruts at the end (at 95% of road). They are tricky but because of dry hard surface conditions it was managable.

With my small SUV and 18' low clearance trailer I spent an hour trying to fix the potholes (shovel, difficult to move dried mud) and used some planks. I managed to make it to the 3nd (yes it is a beautiful spot). We decided not to stay given the weather forecast.

I recommend other users avoid wet conditions and if they damage the road that they fix it and leave it in similar or better condition before arriving.

The road needs some extra gravel at those 2 specific locations. My bit of work might help folks that visit the site in the next few weeks?

I was at this place and everything is the same.

We stopped in two big van trucks for the night asking to sleep in the parking and take advantage of a room to take a shower. 5000 CFA per car. The rooms cost 10,000 CFA and are huge, very large bathroom and AC. The owner was very welcoming, he went on a motorbike to buy us some fresh beers and refills for internet sims. Opposite there are several shops to buy fresh food/drinks/others. Highly recommended!
