nice place to stay and/or sleep during the week. can get quite busy on a sunny weekend. there's another parking (also in ioverlander) not far thata offer public toilets (porta potty)

I stayed at Eight Mile Campground closer to town, but wish I had been here instead! Eight mile was pretty busy, half the sites are by reservation and half are walk in, and on a Weds night most were full. This campground was only half occupied by comparison and is in a beautiful quiet setting in the woods. It looked like only some of the sites have bear boxes (at 8 mile all sites have boxes). Will come here next time

large meadow by the river, near the waterfall. Peaceful and quiet place to spend the night. No wild animals or natives. Traces of campfires on the bank suggest visits of campers.

A very well kept lodge in Choma with a swimming pool. Just one block off the main highway, easy access.
Rooms are clean, when loadshedding occurs there is no water. No wifi, restaurant.

Spectacular space to park any type of motorhome or caraban with a private beach. Ask for Orlando Espinosa who is very kind. With his family they prepare the best Caribbean meals. We went for a day and stayed for a week. Widely recommended.

Showers do not work. They will take your quarters though! No electricity in the men’s restroom. No potable water available from the fountains.

It’s an OK place to crash for one night, just don’t expect things to work.

No cell signal in the evening but in the morning I had 3 bars LTE with Mint mobile.

Indeed still a beautiful place with amazing views. Can be somewhat busy at the first part of the area but if you drive further up the steep hill (nor for big RV’s or big trailers) you will find lots of nice, quiet and flat spots.

Apart from the fact that the dogs shit everywhere on the lawn where the tents are but not where the family on the area lives, the showers are really hot and indeed it is a tranquil place. The dog shit is frozen this time of the year :-)

Site was trashed on arrival. I picked up most of it. Nice size space for a few vehicles alot of level spots. The creek side spot down the road sounded like someone was occupying the river, no road going down there, but I heard music. So I moved here. There are more sites on this road. I arrived on a Thursday and had no traffic drive by.

confirmed only rvs at $50/nite. allowed me to fill water and dump is $5. nice for overnight in summer to run ac.

Reverse Osmosis & Alkaline water by the gallon. Vending machines available 24/7. Can also fill RVs with 100’ food grade hose. Nugget & cube ice made with R.O. Water too

Nice quiet place, despite there being several campers around. Flat and well maintained gravel road, so very accessible. Good Verizon service. Stayed 4 nights. Close to Mesa Verde.

There are free roaming cows about with babies, super cute! Just keep your distance and watch where you step, because… well let’s just say they don’t observe “leave no trace.”

Still 79 soles p.n., not a quite place for a night.

spend one night in Roof Top Tent. arrived after hours with reservation. office left envelope with my name and gate key on the front door. Easy check in. very good location. highly recommended.

Camping and Restaurant next to the beautiful river. Niko and his brother Evelyn are extremely friendly and attentive. We stayed here for two days with a motorhome, waiting for the border to open due to the snowfall

Absolutely best Cracker Barrel in over 32 states.

Slept like a baby.

Quiet park and many spots open during the week! Showed up late night and only one other car with a tent was in the area.

Very big overflow parking area for camping when all the sites are taken. It's normally for RV/vans only, but the ranger allowed us to pitch our small tent, shielded by our car. Quiet night, clean washrooms.

Many parking spots in industrial area, quiet night, no traffic after restaurant closed at 9pm. Woke up, stepped outside and met only neighbor in area, Mr Rocky Raccoon. Water and dump site just down the street. All n all a good place for the night.

Just beautiful. Sea birds. Whales. Waves pounding.

We passed a peaceful night with one other RV. Plenty of room. No one bothered us.

Spent a night at Walleyes Unlimited Campground. No services. Fire pits. And picnic tables. Camping by donation. Very clean vault toilets.FREE WIFI! Decent cell service. Nice beach and a tenting area down below. Would stay here again.
