stayed here 1 night bc i needed to be close to issaquah (normally i’m a forest road camper) — at 11pm a teenage boy (white male 17 years old small build blonde) opened my front door on a dare and his friends asked if there was anything good in it to steal. i guess i forgot to lock my door. terrifying and it didnt seem like the first time the kid did it. i would only stay here if you really needed it but overall didnt like the vibe. lots of young teenagers messing around in the parking lot

This gas station is not open 24 hours, but it is very large and has a night watchman. They do not charge for overnight stays. It is a place where trucks stop, with a restaurant and many small shops in front and behind, with tire repairs and services. I spent the night behind the station, in front of some small shops, a quiet and safe place. They charge R$8.00 to take a shower at the station, but you can use the restaurant's bathroom for free. If you talk to the shopkeepers in the back, you can get electricity and water.

Nice boondock for a night or two, can be windy, many locals park trailers here for long term. they even mow and weed eat around their RV, Find a spot wiggle in, all are friendly.

Bel endroit au bord de l'eau, peu de circulation la nuit. Proche des commerces à pied et du quai de St Anne des monts pour pêcher. Table de pique nique, pas de toilettes.

Maybe 10 sites in a gravel lot. Nice view of the reservoir and access to a little roped off area of water. We'll used and needs some TLC. $15 /$10 senior self pay. ATT comes and goes.

This spot was incredible! Right next to the water and there were lovely biking and walking trails right along the water. We enjoyed watching folks play beach volleyball. There were a few other camper vans out and we had no issues finding a spot around 4:30PM. There are coffee shops and food spots all along the water. Take a walk in the neighborhoods nearby to admire the architecture and beauty of the homes. There was road noise that mostly quieted at night and I did wake up around 2:30 to some noisy folks on the beach, but it was still an excellent spot and I would stay again!

It is beautiful to walk around the grounds. The light is particularly impressive at sunrise and sunset. Also worth it to watch the light show at night. There is a large car park for free overnight parking. Lots of space for some big rigs. 🚛

Stellar spot, right on the edge of a tiny lake. Sparse evergreen forest, very quiet and secluded. No AT&T signal but great Starlink spot. 30 minutes south of Sisters with beautiful views of the partially white mountains to the west. 6370 elevation so a touch chilly even at the end of June. Rock fire pit and level ground. Room for multiple rigs.

nice pitches including the usual firepits, wood and put toilets. $15
A little bit of traffic noise which I hope will die down later. No one else here.

We kept our brown van here for 4 months. The owner Gabrielle is the nicest person ever. Has an indoor shed too. The space fits any size of vehicles because it’s a huge farm. He was always proactive in responding and always helped us with getting to the parking. Had extreme peace of mind when we went to India and left our van behind. Highly recommend

This is a large turnout off the Top-of-the-World Highway on the Alaska side of the border. It is dirt & rock with a few fire rings scattered throughout. No services at all. Simply a large flat area to spend the night. You enter through a “driveway” that opens immediately into the lot. Part of the lot is somewhat hidden from the highway by tall shrubs/small trees, & part is somewhat obscured behind a hill if you’re headed east. No cell signal. There is some traffic noise, but the highway is pretty quiet this evening @ 6:20. Very light traffic for the past couple of hours. After a hard rain the dirt-without-rock areas get muddy. In that case the rocks are a safer bet.

Great site, easy gravel road in and plenty of space for multiple vehicles. Some muted road noise from nearby roads but not bad. Coordinates given bring you to the entrance road, turn right at the sign with the Green P and follow to the end for the actual parking area.

Rooms starting from S/20 (see the photo), but the cheapest I was offered was of S/25. Towel and soap provided. TV in room. Hot water wasn’t working in my room. I’m not sure about that. Good WiFi in some rooms (20mbps when I was there). Ask for a room with better WiFi reception. And parking… has a cochera for motorcycles and bicycles, but only between 6pm and 7am. I suppose there is a school running behind it. I parked my motorcycle in the street during the day with a cover, they have CCTV cameras pointing the street if that helps you.

Arrived at 6pm, it was almost dark. There were a few youngsters hanging out but super chill.
We woke up at 00:36 with the van shaking a lot and we thought someone was outside pushing it. We shouted and jumped out of bed but it didn’t stop shaking until a few seconds after. We went outside it was a beautiful clear night, quiet, no one around (no signs of someone running away either).
We went back to bed and woke up in the morning with the news that there was an earthquake magnitude 7.2 with epicentre in the coast. That’s what we felt.
Apart from that, the night was quiet and we woke up to a beautiful day by the lake.

One of the quieter rest stops we have slept at. The road quiets down and if trucks stay, they don’t idle … or at least when we were there! Clean bathrooms. Free water fill up and grey dump. Felt safer than most of the places near Olympic NP. Good Verizon service.

booked a camping spot the day of, and there were quite a few available mid week on Thursday. we stayed in Pecan hill site #92. the area is open so there isn't a lot of privacy. showers and flush toilets but fairly dirty and only one near pecan hill area so quite busy, since this is such a popular campground. the dance was interesting, if country music is your thing. river was nice to swim in but really warm, although it is Texas. it was $36 total for the campsite, $20 to stay plus $8 per person entrance. overall, a fine spot but not somewhere I'd stay again during the busy(and hot) season.

Filled up water using the spigot. Just as others have said the flow is strong but don’t stand directly over it when you turn it on…unless you need a shower.
