Small hotel in gated compound with restaurant at the front. Single and double rooms available. Basic but clean. Mosquito nets. We paid 28,000 shillingies per night for the double en-suite. Unfortunately no running water in room but jerrycans provided from tap in courtyard. Friendly staff. Safe parking. Delicious fresh mundhazis in the morning!

Nice family run long established hotel. Friendly people. Cold beers available. Simple rooms with a fan for 6.000 CFA per night. Reasonable clean and parking on the compound. If you like a descent meal you can walk to the nearby Hotel Majestic. Probably the best restaurant in town, but not cheap; main course 4.000 CFA.

We had a worrying noise when engaging the 4x4. We were staying at Home Of Friends Guesthouse and the management recommended to call in Joshua. He did a wonderful job. He checked the the complete 4x4 drive train and found the cause being a worn out coupling. He got himself the spare parts needed and repaired it. Next day we could continue our travels. He is a very honest and modest guy and charged us a price which was way too low in our opinion even according to African standards considering the work and the result. We offered him a higher and more fair price.
Since he came to us we do not know the exact location of his workshop.

Now they charged 500 pesos for 2 people and 1 van. Water wasnt running in the entire place and toilets quite dirty. But friendly owner, nice and safe place (with 3 cute puppies). Wifi was working good, as well as the big pool, but we didn’t get in

This restaurant is very good! There are others around it but I recommend this one. £5 for 2 people to eat very well.

We had fried boar which was good, but the best dish is the sticky rice with fried morning glory.

Service was quick but we were the only 2 people in there.

I moved here after a night at Riviera because I didn’t like all the big rigs there. This is really chill and more spacious. Twice as much money but for me I feel it’s worth it.

Parked in the dirt lot next door. Only drawback is it's right next to the diesel pump. Typical gas station and highway noise with buses and trucks parked here. Super clean toilets with paper! The mini mart serves hot food and meals. Parked here with a 25' Class C.

Update: The "No Overnight RV Camping" signs are only posted at the boat ramp parking lot. As stated, there are many pull-offs right before the ramp. Nice views. Trash cans available all over. Light traffic but died down in the evening. Tried my hand at fishing here but only caught a buzz. Stayed one night.

Don't miss this stop if you're in the area. Massive caves to explore. Bring as many light as you can and some warm clothes. Unbelievable!!!

The road up is over grown but paved. There is an old car park that you can camp at. Some flat ground (concrete pad) for tents. No one around.

Great place and peacefull! I stayed 7 nights as Poli and Alejandro are great hosts and 24h hot water. I don’t mind the rustic shower and toilet.

This is a small gated RV site with room for four RV's on water front property in La Penita Nayarit. Their is full hook ups with 30Amp service and WiFi. There is a clean washroom with shower also. Great owners that love dogs.

Really really bad coffee (and we’re okay with instant). No fuel now.

Next to the toll there is a parking spot with toilets and little (food) shops. There is light and security at night. Some trucks stay here for the night. Noisy, but safe.

Parking area for walking in the preserve. Located on Aripeka Rd. Small area with limited shade. We were directed here by County officers who said we could stay here overnight.

Free camping allowed here according to the police that no longer let you sleep at the beach site.
There are some palm trees here and a decent clearing in front of building to park. It could fit 6 vans or more
It was pretty loud with cat fights, dog howling, roosters and vehicles driving past. However it is free, flat and allowed.
