A parking lot is in construction at this spot so not available when we were here, the spot under the trees 100m below was perfect

Very close to spectacular view -39.37579, -71.94911

A spectacular view of the volcano and the lake. Some people for the sunset with music but after it the spot is calm. No wind protection at all. We have done it with a 2wd van that has a big clearance.

We came here twice, because we like the beach a lot.
we paid 25k per night. And could park in front of the hotel and use all the facilities. Outdoor showers, toilet, WiFi and the pool.

The hotel is the most time super empty. So it's super nice and quiet. we had both times the beach and the pool almost for us. In the morning the water is really calm. And for us was it one of the best beaches on the Caribbean coast.

Good spot for a tent close to town, when everything is booked out. With a matress more level than we thought.

If you need maintenance at yourToyo, that's the place to go.
The owner wants me to mention that they let you sleep in their frontyard
they give you WiFi
and they are quick, they know what they are doing, items not on stock appear by magic within minutes, we have an VTD, not the typical car here, but they got what was needed immediately
They changed Oil and Filters incl. Air, changed Oil in rear diff, total lube incl. suspension, replaced all breake pads and crossed out the tires and did some other minor jobs, 3 man working on our car. by 8:15 they started, by 10 30we were rolling again.
Great job, perfectly executed.

Ana is a really nice and helpful person! We had two quiet nights.
You can go by bus no.10 to Bariloche. I attach a picture of the schedule. One way was Arg$ 35, but you need a SUBE card. Ana offered us one, but we had a card from Buenos Aires (SUBE card works all over Argentina).
Camping is now Arg$ 300/person/night, motorhome is free.

We spent a night here. Few minutes after we arrived, the army came by and wrote down our names and plate number. At 23:00 another patrol told us it's ok to sleep but we should leave in the morning and we're not allowed to swim, didn't get why. Walking on the shallow waters we saw an octopus 60-70 cm long, which was even following us around.

At the end of road there's a private beach, only for employees of an oil company.

Significantly less garbage and flies than on the other iOverlander spot nearby but still enough. The gravel road that connects the two has a couple of tough (sandy) parts for 2WD but doable.

This is a nice camping spot, nearby the river, actually it is for free, but you can give some money to the owner Mr Tito to help him to grow the place !!! You can buy the fresh cheese, cow milk or any other product he and his family prepare. He is a very nice guy with a big heart

We arrived here after we tried to find a good spot between wineyards, which wasn't possible, so we ended up here.
It is a very busy place, unfortunately all night long on a Monday.

As described, a very nice and welcoming place to stay. Although it is noted to be free, we offered to pay for electricity, as we used our air conditioning at times. I believe this was appreciated. We were asked to recommend other overlanders about this place, so we know we were welcome.

An absolute hidden gem.
Very quiet, serene and peaceful.
Hosts are amazing and extremely helpful.
The roads to get here are very manageable. Very stable. (maybe the other reviewers came just after the storms). Park amenities super clean. The showers are ultra-hip and lots of hot water (again, no idea about the other reviewers comments).
They are really close to VdG's best and cheapest restaurant, La Cocina de doña Esthela.
They offer some cabins shaped like wine barrels and they look awesome.
Prices are low. Tried to use my credit card, but it's only cash FYI.

We have stayed at this campground 3 times over 4 months while traveling around Patagonia and totally agree with all previous good reviews. Not sure what happened with the 2 recent bad reviews but they are totally out of character with what the owners and the place are trying hard to represent - which is a friendly, secure and family oriented environment.

One of the nicest campsites that we stayed at in Mozambique. Staff supplied wood and lit the fire for us. Charcoal also available if needed. Donkey was on and hot water ready when we arrived. Good ablutions. Kitchen area very nice and protects you from flies. We hope to be back one day and also when Gorongosa NP is open.

Stayed two nights at this lovely place. 150 mex/pers. per night. You can stay in one of the 5 different thermal pools as long and as often as you want. Hot showers and toilets. Restaurant only Open until 4:00 pm. Think you can also get electricity but we did not ask for.

Very nice RV (only RVs) park in Aldergrove. Mgmt/staff are very friendly and helpful. Some sites can accommodate large 5th wheels. Several long-term guests. The grounds are very nicely maintained. The facility is gated at night for security & guests have a code to come & go as they please. All sites have a picnic table.

Sites are 3-way (15/30, some 50). There is also cable TV available. WiFi is weak. Sites are tightly packed. There are rows of cedars between sites for some privacy. It is close to the TransCanada Hwy, so there is some highway noise.

The town of Aldergrove is less than a 10 min drive. It's about 20 min to either Langley, or Abbotsford & ~45 min to Vancouver.

Very well organised, professional and large workshop. Very clear,
quick and helpful description and diagnosis of the problem we had with our Landcruiser rear axel, although they didn't have the part in stock (our 2004 model too old for them to keep parts in stock), but they recommended other CFAO outlets on our route.

If you like camping to have your tent 2 meters away from your neighbours, people who party with loud music and yell all night long, no view on the beach, this is perfect for you. And our experience was not even during week end... The village Bahia Inglesa itself is also overcrowded and nothing special here.
If you like camping to enjoy quiet and nature, just run away. I would recommend instead to drive 120km up north and camp in parque pan de Azucar, very quiet and nice sea view from camping spot. Or choose any other wild camp on any other desert pacific beach.

Two Canadians traveling from Liberia to Sierra Leone on foot.
Smooth sailing leaving Liberia. We had to check in at 4 different desks with officials who wrote down our information, but no problems.
Same thing on the Sierra Leone side, but it took quite a long time. We can confirm that the visa on arrival is available! You will need to pay for it (800,000 per person) in Sierra Leonian currency, so look for the best rate on the Liberian side before crossing the bridge.
