Very quiet border! We were the only ones there (Arg to Chile). They checked our vehicle but people were very friendly. Highly recommend taking this border crossing instead of the over crowded one at San Sebastian. On top of that, the route is way more beautiful than the ruta 3. As they have built a new bridge, it is accessible for bigger rigs as well. Be smart and save time, take this border crossing!

Do yourself a favor by saving time and taking the border crossing at Bella Vista instead. Less crowded, faster, more friendly and a way more beautiful ride.

We stoped here for a night to avoid long night night driving.
Super spot very quiet super clean toilette and shower super fast WiFi. There is also computer in the tourist office. Great idea of the municipality !

On the right of the road when you come from the guardaparque. About 200-300m far from the road. Flat area made of gravel behind the hill so protect from wind. The road seems not so busy by night. No need 4x4.

We slept there since you cannot sleep at the tourist info or in the park and it’s more hidden than the spot in front of the entrance of the park. The guard recommend us to go their if we don’t want to go until the town.

Amazing is the only word to describe this place. You enter a German engineered parallel world passing the gate. It's pretty, it has all you need from showers to washing machine to restaurant. Every morning you get free fresh buns delivered to your doorstep.

The owner Reinhard is on the road himself for decades and a very successful business man. Talking with him really makes your day. Of course you get help with everything too because he knows everyone. Spare parts, repairs, city tour, whatever. No problem. Since 2019 this is a new campsite that they built in addition to the initial one.

Awesome spot to drive up to if you have the opportunity!! It takes a while to drive the 19 or so miles, but it is worth it. Incredible sunrises/sunsets and a wonderful place to appreciate the night sky.

Endroit vraiment sympathique pour manger une pizza. Pizza 4 fromages : un délice et un plaisir de manger un semblant de "bleu" pour rappeler la France. Comptez 20-25 soles environ pour une pizza taille standard.
Petite bouteille d'eau à 4 soles, cocktails pour 15 soles.

If there was a water source you couldn’t find it from all the snow. We went up the street to the open Chevron and there was a clear working water line on the left of the building. Asked the folks inside and they were helpful and let us fill up.

Great stop, Manuel is very kind and helpful. Didn’t use the bathrooms . Showers were a hot trickle , but got the job done. This place has been hit by a big fire and is in restoration, Manuel is working on improvements and it felt good to support him. Kayaked on the lake in the morning. tucked away , great spot for an overlander. Clean, many trash cans, very quiet.

Nice campspot under the trees, no problem of entry with the unimog. best of the 3 campements in Dindefello. water from the well is better than the water from the forage in the village. The owner arranged us a nice dinner with local chicken, more expensive then other places but very tasteful. Camping cost 4000 for car and 2 p.

Stayed one night. Cascades and falls are very beautiful. You can climb up and down almost everywhere because the rocks are not slippery. The campsite is basic, but toilets are clean. Its hard to find a leveled spot. Not much of a shade, just small trees. There's wifi for 15pesos an hour.

Stayed one night. Very quiet and calm place. Lots of tropical plants around. Good and clean toilets. No showers though. Swallows kept returning to cave long after sunset. Entrance 25pesos pp, camping 50pesos pp. There's also rooms to rent. All buildings are new.

6000pp with really nice bathroom and ecological, hot shower with ecological soap and shampoo. The camping spot are really flat and with a nice view of de town. The kitchen and common area are really nice, almost everything is reciclable in this camping, so do your best if you go. Cristian also sells fresh veggies from his orchard, it's next to the common area. He also sells organic products an you can ask him about things to do close to guadal. The camping is really big and it has a waterfall inside!!

We camped at the cave. Fun structure build into the rocks, beautiful view. In the valley below, we've seen kudu, zebra, springbok and baboons. Outdoor ablutions in need of some maintenance, but overall nice experience. Wifi available at reception. Price n$170 pppn.

if you don't want to hike the whole 12 km loop you could make a shortcut after around 1.2 km. Check on Maps.me for the shortest cross to the other path. Just 200 meters on a flat area. On the other path just go back on the road towards the very beautiful Mirador.

Awesome campsite! A bit of luxury: it has running water on sink and a shower!! Toilet, A-frame, and nice place for your car and tent in a shade of a tree.

Showers 200yen for 30min, a north face store a beautiful rest area and a Burger restaurant. Winterwonderland is just behind the house...

It has just opened and is still under construction.

The couple running the place and living here are very kind and help with everything you might need. They are overlanders too and made this place available for people who want to relax and have a secure place to stay with no noises around. It is on the death end of the unpaved road uphill.

There is 1 toilet with hot shower 24h and 1 sink with hot water, but it is very rustic!

Alejandro and Poli have 2 small kids and a little dog, 2 cats 1 horse and welcome people with animals.

There are many trees giving shadow. I could fill my water tank too.

Currently 300 pesos/person per night.

Electricity available for connecting your van or charging phone, and blow dryer in the toilet.

Alejandro can also help with little things that needs to be fixes on your vehicle, he doesn’t charge much for help.
