We have been using this lovely spot as a hub while visiting our daughter.
As posters have mentioned before: it’s a busy place during the day; packed with park-goers with few spots available.
We’ve stayed, uneventfully, for 3 nights. Wednesday night, peaceful. Thursday night, very quiet until about 7am when the teeming hoards arrived, en mass, to jockey for parking spaces. Friday night, very quiet after the sun went down, and then oddly quiet on Saturday morning.
Extremely quiet.
Too quiet.
No other vehicles in the parking lot quiet.
No other vehicles in the PARK quiet.
Turns out: the City of Toronto has a “social distancing but get outside to exercise” initiative called ActiveTO where many major city streets are closed to vehicular traffic. While all the major roads around the park are open...
THE PARK ROADS ARE CLOSED!!!
So, here we sit, splendid in our isolation, trapped in High Park until 11pm, Sunday.
There is no information available about how much longer this initiative will continue. The only info I can find is that the city is monitoring areas for crowding There was no signage indicating the upcoming closure when we entered the park.
So, for now, I would caution anyone wishing to overnight here that it would be open from Monday through Friday morning only.

Large open area along the Salmon River. Suitable for all types of vehicles. There is almost no shade here. Very low highway noise compared to the sound of the river. One portapoti on site. 14 Day limit.

Still ZAR160 pppn. Good friendly, down to earth service. Everything neat and in a lovely location with nice views around. Pitches not that flat so chocks are useful or use the ones here if available. Self catering cottage and glamping facilities available - prices on request. Look out for the Cape Parrot only found in this area early morning and evenings. Keep food tucked away from wandering monkeys.

A few hundred meters before three valley lake rest stop

Little pull out on side of road. Bigger one just ahead, river access. 1 bar Verizon LTE

This is a great little drive in scenic overlook with views of the Flaming Gorge Valley. No signs saying overnight is not allowed. Since you’re in the National forest. This area look well established with several primitive fire pits. Fairly level ground options. Most small RV or vehicles like our Sprinter will have no problem. Other than a little road noise this is an epic spot for an overnight.

Beautiful place, surrounded by mountains and dry pines. Few spots along the glacial river, far enough from each other, with fire pits. Bumpy and very dusty road and area, fairly easy to find dry wood. 2W when dry, 4W when wet.

On a huge beautiful sand beach but seems rundown even though the sign on the gravel road was brand new and looked neat. Maybe the ablutions are located a bit further in the bush. Not my favorite kind of atmosphere but some people might find it cool. We didn't stay.

Open parking area suitable for overland vehicles, however not mobile homes / Iveco’s etc (the entrance to the parking area has a sharp left turn that means limited length vehicles can access the parking area. Access to toilets and water only between 09:00 am and 21:00 in the evening.

Update: parked up at 20:00, right next to security person, he was super friendly and was happy that I set up the camper van. 11:30 PM, another security camera to check why I was there. After explaining he said that ‘officially’ the Waterfront does not allow overnighting, But they do allow it. He then left and wasn’t bothered again. Next morning chatted to security personnel and paid my R100.00 for overnight parking. Security guys super friendly to chat to me and ask questions about the overland community. Very safe, and stunning views of the ocean. Can be a bit windy as it’s right on the beach front area.

Two roads lead to Rapa Roşie, the southern one is full of tourists, the northern one leads to the farm. If you want to stand alone, you better stay down on the field. You can hear the sound of Kronospan's machines around the clock. 4G.

Quit place to stay for a night, no parking restrictions. Surrounded by woods, small grass field and a lake (not suitable for swimming). During daytime often used by dog owners for training of their dogs otherwise no other traffic.
LTE available in good quality.

A nice law enforcement officer stopped by and said no overnight parking is allowed within the city limits.

Perfect spot to camp when visiting Capitol Reef. Maybe 10 minutes to the west entrance if that. Only a mile from town. It's probably as close as you can camp to the park and still have cell phone reception. Fast Verizon speeds and some T-Mobile as well. Only a few rigs here during the week. As expected, it filled in more on the weekend, but still room for more. Beautiful views and quiet. Zero trash at our site.

this bridge has a max height of 2.55m or maybe 2.6m. Our 2.52m van barely made it through. Might be alternatives on the left side

Motorbikes park in the yard, cars park for free (snd under shady trees) on the parking of a former cinema just next to the guesthouse.
Private rooms with shared OR private bathroom, with OR without balcony, starting from 13€/night.
Very clean, English spoken.
No breakfast, but coffee automat next to the gate, dairy shop across the street and Bulgarian breakfast place (banitzsanitsa) 100m towards pedestrian area.
All sights within walking distance. Very fast and reliable internet.
