free camping while spots are available, public toilets about a mile down the road but also the option to dig a hole. just be responsible and remember to bury your waste/mark the spot as well as pack out what you pack in. highly recommend the hike up caribou mountain. would have stayed longer but rain pushed me out. no service besides at the intersection of rt 113 and 2 as well as all the way into gorham.

Salto Belo is one of the great attractions of the Parecis region and it is possible to stay overnight there.
In addition to the beautiful waterfall and the river where it is possible to swim, there are kiosks, bathrooms, water, energy and wifi.
It is far from the city: it is 80km, and 40km is by dirt road.
Don’t forget the mosquito spray!

Big campground - about 100 sites. Four loops - B loop is closest to the river, but none of the sites are water front. All the sites are quite big, well treed and nicely spaced.

On site host. A guy came buy selling firewood. Self registration. 31 CAD per night. Closes for the winter on Sept 20.

CBC at 102.1.

This campground has plenty of spots for just about any size rig. This is dry camping at it's best. Free for up to 7 days with the Discovery Pass. It should be noted that there are very few spot that will give you any access to a clear view of the sky. So of you are looking for solar you are going to have very limited options (mostly just the spot or two that are directly at the end of the road as you drive into the campground.) You are only about 15 minutes away from the entrance to the National Park. Couple items to keep in mind

* There are a couple of water spigots spread out around the campground (I was told it is potable water)
* Internet connection is good if you are on Tmobile/Sprint but non for Verizon
* There are no dumpsters or trash cans.
* Gasoline in the area is limited and much more expensive
* There is a "maintence area and home (possible campground host, but not labled that way), they have a deer derrent alarm on their property that goes off (with alarm) at all times of the night. If you are camped on the south side of the loop (directly to the right as you enter) this may keep you up allnight if you are a light sleeper.

This is a great spot and we will be back for sure.

Large spot. Can fit rigs n cars. Not very levelled. Fire pit and block of tree to sit on. lots of birds. Logging trucks and cars pass by. Nice view, Quiet. Strange experience, heard a roar/howl at 4.30-5am that echoed around the valley. Unlike any animal known to us.

Public Marina in Lubec, ME. Fairly level parking lot. BEAUTIFUL views. I stayed one night and wasn't bothered by anyone. Worthy to note however, at sunset the parking lot fills then empties after the sun sets. Also, the young adults enjoy gatherings here. They keep to themselves and are not a bother, but they do enjoy their music. All is relatively quiet after 10ish.

Quick and easy. Best part is that it’s far enough from the freeway to avoid the road noise.

This is Lake Sevan Public Beach No. 8. Most of the original beach is now underwater but behind it is a big parking lot which would be great for self contained overnight stays. No amenities.

Conveniently located branch of a big chain of auto service shops, with a good stock of service parts including all the usual fluids. Best part is you can cross the road and hang out at the awesome bakery while you're waiting for the job to be done. Prices for oils, tyres etc seem to include labour costs too.

Plenty of boondocking spots beginning at lower duck creek road and headed north to Confederate Bay. Insects are a problem, stay away from the trees and bushes and you'll be fine. Good AT&T and Verizon signal.

Cute little campground in the Texas Hill Country with a beautiful cave right on its ground. Some shaded camp sites for tents, RVs, vans with electrical and water (non potable!) hook-ups.
Nearby Guadalupe River access to spend a day on/in the water.

A beautiful overlook camp with mountain views and setting sun. The spot is up as far as road goes just before a pullout lot going north. There is a seasonal creek that is dry, except if you hike up a little ways there is water in the canyon.

Nice place to stay for a night. It's right off the highway, so you do have traffic noise, but I got used to it. I parked by myself and on the other side of the lot there was a fifth wheel and a car.
I'm not sure about the water and dump station as I did not use them.

PLEASE READ! We've stayed here a few times months apart with no issue. Even met up with the original poster for dinner which was very nice. This most recent stay, a different resident cc'ed us on an email to his local council members complaining about all the vans staying around the park. Stating overflowing garbage bins and dog poop everywhere as being brought here by vanlifers. I doubt 'we' are part of this problem but if you are staying here, as it's legal to do, perhaps arrive late and leave early to avoid upsetting the neighbors and potentially getting this location shut down. And of course, do you're best to leave no trace and avoid adding to their garbage bins.
