Absolutely great place up the mountain. Not far from the street. The view is so beautiful. Like a painting. You can hear a little bit the sound of the street, but it is no problem. In the night it is quiet and peaceful. Sometimes a shepherd came by, but they are very friendly.

Easy boarder crossing. We went from Kosovo to Serbia. The Kosovo police told us to enter Serbia only with EU ID card, if we show the passpord Serbia would not let us in!
So we did as we told and it took us about 5min to cross the boarder.

Hard to imagine how any vehicle makes it now without serve scratches to this trail right parallel to the river. The trees at the beginning are so deep that even a every small car can't go through! One must definitely cut big parts of the trees in the left and right side!
As alternative one can camp easily in the flood plains on the other side of the bushes (but without the nice view on the river).

An advice how to get there (might not work in the rain season): When coming from the M8 (where the sign "Chinyingi Mission 8 km" is) locals leaving after approx 1,7 km the small trail and driving through the flood plain. It is shorter and open area. The "real" path leads through partly sandy and (over)grown bushes.

Small park on a lake, flush toilets and hot showers. Dump, fresh water, very quiet by elk and deer park. $20 night nonelectric ($26 electric hook up). We saw no env. Or pay box and the other 4 trailers had no papers on posts.

There are no signs saying no camping but they do say no dumping. There are a few picnic tables and pit toilets but nothing else. Quite large. Could be busy on weekends with ATVs. 5G TMobile. Dirt roads so not sure about conditions if it's wet.

We saw a few others parked on the grocery side and joined them. For some reason a lot of big trucks park here, so go to the other side. 5G TMobile signal.

Little sideroad on the D123 near Mauressargues. Goes on between the vineyards, very flat and lots of small side places without disturbing the vineyards. Perfect for an overnight stay with camper type. We've met the owner, nice guy. Don't leave trash!

Large pullout, pretty level. Not much traffic on the road so fairly quiet. No cel service.

Drove by and stopped to look around. A lot of trash all around the area and a strange box with skulls on it and “DO NOT OPEN” spray painted on it. Collapsed hunters tent really close by and some trees looked to have been shot. Did not stay.

Totally quiet and while it’s a bumpy dirt lot, it’s possible to find a level spot. Only accessible by driving over a small iron bridge, no weight rating, see picture. Would not recommend to hang out here during the day, as it’s in sight of the apartments. Shore dogs park is nearby with parking and access to the trail.

Pea Ridge Conservation Area offers primitive camping from Sept. 15th to May 15th in designated sites only. Down this specific dirt road there are 4 designated sites by the creek. This whole area is very quiet and a great spot to camp! There are 2 more dirt roads stemming off Hwy 185 inside this Conservation Area that have sites as well. There is no service on Verizon at all at any of these sites. No pit toilets, no amenities.

Nice little spot, enough room for multiple vehicles. Lots of mosquitoes late September early October. No Verizon signal anywhere around this area. Quiet spot in the forest for a sound sleep!

Very nice visitor center / rest area. No tractor trailers permitted in the parking area; so aside from some interstate noise it’s pretty quiet. The bathrooms are very clean and vending machines are available on site.

The parking area is well lighted at night Police pass through regularly to check on the center - especially at night.

lovely spot in the oak forest, very welcoming camp host who will greet you in his language tell you about his people and traditions. If nobody is at home just pick a spot and he'll come by eventually. Update: practice bear safety with your food. One came by and knocked over my bike in the middle of the night.

If I understood the dude correctly, it's 0,5$ entrance per person and 1$ for parking the car. We asked about camping and he only said we should contact the number on their sign (+503 6201 1406) to ask about it. He / She (?) wanted $10 dollars including the entrance fees, negotiation over whatsapp (didn't answer my call) didn't work, even though people earlier only paid 2$. So we left and went to the bosque chinquera (?) instead. They want 5,75$ per person, but you are in a nice forest instead of next to the road.

Price is now $5.75 per person for camping including the entrance (for foreigners, she asked me if we were nationals or foreigners). You can park in the parking lot between trees and next to the river, very quiet. Toilets close to the parking lot a desolate, with the door missing. Other than that a nice and quiet place.

A easy lower price pick. 3 Lanes to pick from A/B/C. $26 for an full hookup spot, it seems all sites in A&B have them. I've heard trains on my overnight stay in B4, but never one blaring their horn. Showers are excellent in both. Enjoyable stay.

To be clear, this is a ONE LANE road, with signs at the entrance warning big rigs that there are no turn-arounds. Do not attempt in an RV. Great boon-docking sight. This one in particular is right by a creek and with little traffic... our F250 with slide in “slid in” without any problems and level after propping the rear tire 6 inches off the ground. Passed one other boon-docker towards the entrance in a fancy van, and had one truck exiting the one-lane road passing by us at the time of this writing at 11:08 PM after being here for 2 hours. There is some trash here which we will pick up before leaving, and a couple trails that lead to the creek.

What a fun place to hang our hat for the eve as we head north! Trash is minimal with no gross toilet paper trails, and the access to highway 101 is not bad at all. There is a huge “no campfires” sign, which makes sense as there is foliage abound around this entire sight, and it’s obviously patrolled by rangers being a paved road with access to
