Great place in the hills with a fantastic view over the lake and into the mountains. The game of the light when it is a bit cloudy is beautiful. Quiet. The place we had was levelled. Other places which are levelled was harder to find.

Pay at machine parking lot, close to restaurants and shops. Pay only required during the day. Has oversized spots for RVs.

Great spot, as stated they have blocked off any of the "pull in" type camping spots but there is a large amount of space on an asphalt lot and a small turnaround loop behind it. Lots of space, you could definitely get a big rig in here but you might be in a pinch to turn around if there are other vans already here. Due to lack of similar spots in the area, I would imagine this is a very busy spot in the high season. We are here in Nov and there was one other van and 2 cars.

Train track and highway are both nearby so there was some noise in the night but really not much at all. Tree cover offers a bit of privacy and sound deadening.

There are a few fire pits still around.

I believe the lot is used to access a gas pipeline.

Overall fantastic spot and very happy we found it. Great hopping off point as you head into or out of Banff.

Stayed here for one night no problem fairly quiet.

Municipal lot with free parking and no signs stating otherwise.

Near great coffee shops, restaurants, Walmart museum and the cute town square.

This laundromat is permanently closed. The entire plaza is closed.

We did a great quadbike ride through the dunes and was welcomed from the friendly owners johan and luis to stay overnight free of charge on their parking area.

we searched the campsite indicated on maps.me at etanga, but it seems not existing (or no more !).
so we founded this place, under a Big tree, very peaceful...

Parking in front of a football field with plenty of room. Trees are present to offer shadow but there are also spaces with less shadow for solar panels. For us it was perfect. Quiet for a spot in town and we felt safe. I recommend

it's not at all closed, we're currently staying here and it's our favourite spot in México. if you want to unwind and refresh somewhere peacefully and quiet this is the spot.

Very good site near by the Richelieu canal, on Sainte-Thérèse iles. Gravel parking. Right hand side after the small bridge. Municipality seems tolerant during the fall season especially when the weather’s cold and rainy. Because we’re not interfering with cyclists cars. Ok to rest even to sleep on nigh time at any seasons of the year. UNTIL PEOPLE WITHOUT RESPECT FOR OTHERS PUSH THE MUNICIPALITY TO PROHIBIT THE SITE.

Endroit superbe près du canal Richelieu, sur l’île Sainte-Thérèse. Stationnement en gravelle. Se situe à votre droite aussitôt sortie du petit pont donnant accès à l’île. La municipalité semble tolérer en période automnale lors des journées pluvieuses ou froide car moins dérangeant pour les cyclistes et leurs voitures. Pas de problèmes pour coucher le soir en toutes saisons. JUSQU'A CE QUE DES GENS PEUT RESPECTUEUX DES AUTRES FASSENT INTERDIRE LE LIEU.

Previous reviews are correct about traffic. I got in around midnight and there were still a decent amount of cars but not enough to keep me up. No ambient light except from headlights. A lot of space in the parking area, even a picnic table, too. No one bothered me, another car drove in and out around 6 am. Really good spot!

Pretty cool spot directly at the beach five minutes by car from Kilindoni. The place is basic, showers are cold, but so what. Everything is well maintained, there a little bar and they serve breakfast and diner. You can book all kinds of tours here like snorkeling, whaleshark and whale watching or sunset cruise. A room is 25 USD pppn or bring your tent for camping which is 5 USD. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I stayed four nights and had a great time. Very chilled atmosphere.

Beautiful and refreshing! The last few 100 meters of the hike are in the riverbed/ rocks so make sure you have adequate footwear.

At "El chambe" restaurant, we ask for diesel. The Man told us that he use to have diesel, fuel, oil, brake liquid and this kind of stuff. It cost 14000 pesos 20 liters of diesel.

don't come here anymore. it is no longer possible to camp at this hotel. they no longer accept that we take tables and chairs out of the camper van to eat outside. they ask to stay in the camper van and even in the parking lot of the football field it is no longer possible to camp unless you stay in the camper van which is not possible. they say it's too dangerous for the cars to maneuver in the parking lot when our motorhome is only 5.50m long! they weren't friendly at all. At first they told us that it was ok to sleep but as soon as we started to get the table and chairs out they asked us to leave. Too bad!

Still open and free. Water spigot has a green handle and no signs saying whether it's potable or non, so we filled our tanks with it.

Very good and cheap local food. When we were there they had two different dishes to choose from. 1000 CFA for a big Portion. Cold drinks also available.
