tdupin | one of our prefered living museum in Namibia. More authentic than most of the others. Important in our opinion is that the San are living permanently in the village that can also be visited to learn a little bit about the normal life in the bush.

adelelieb | Great camping spot outside the park with a nice grassy area to set up camp. There is a dedicated area where you are allowed to braai but you need to pay for this and there is no other place to braai..... Hot showers with nice toilets, this is a place worth camping at and is a fraction of the price of camping in the park. The owners son, Anthony was amazing in assisting us with info of the area and also sort out our data issue with vodacom 😊. The cost is 10USD per person per night to camp, THS 5000 car levy( this is apparently a government requirement, we are not sure if this was legit or not?), THS 5000 to use the braai and THS5000 should you need fire wood.... This was nice for a one night stop... If you continue towards the park just around the corner from the camp site there is a clearing on the left hand side of the road where on a clear day you will be able to get photos of Kili |

Nomad N Rad | We set up a little further down along the water on Water St. It was quieter there and there was a nice green space with picnic tables and 2 gazebos. The friendly guy on the golf cart( Pete) gave us some tips on restaurants and then generously gave us the code for the showers for the boaters!

spamittall | Campground looks smallish. It was empty. I turned right before the pay board towards picnic area? Then a left on the road before picnic places. Dirt road with some sand traps, especially the “river” a dry sand bed. I stopped before river and camped there. More places further up the road, maybe with 4x4? Sand is the issue here.

wyatta | Quick and easy border crossing, really friendly guard. However we needed to buy green card insurance and the Sigal office was closed. The guard let us through and told us to drive to Shkoder to buy it. The Sigal office is on the main roundabout in the city and they were really helpful. €49 for 14 days. |

O Joaquim e sua esposa nos receberam com muito carinho no seu quintal, um lugar com muitas árvores no pé do morro Chico Mendes, estacionamos nosso motorhome e tivemos um excelente apoio em Ouro Preto. |

mau240 | Camp site and cabins to stay near Honey Waterfalls. Lovely place, secure, parking lot a quiet family owned place. You can get a room for $35 usd or camping $10 usd. The owners are a lovely couple and they offer food service for 4 usd extra. From here it's just a 5 minute walk through local farms to arrive to the 10 waterfalls reserve. 100% worth it. |

mau240 | La paila is an unactive former volcano. The enagmatic crater is a perfect getaway from the city. Silent and far from every noise, all you can hear is the wind. Magical to be able to stay in an ex-volcano. Its kind of tricky to get there because of the rocky road (car access) but once you get to the top it is totally worth it. Place has toilets, fire pits, grills and campground. Totally free. definitely A MUST SEE |

xtgfamily | Laguna Brava, you can get there with or without a guide. This salty altitude lake is 4350 m. The trail to get there is beautiful. There is a refuge next to which there is the skeleton of a hungry Chilean named the Destapado because the stones that cover it are constantly taken away by the wind. You will see pink Flemishes who gather next to small geysers not far from the refuge. In the lake you will see elements of an airplane that made an emergency landing due to overload, no casualties. The lake is shallow at most 1.5 m. The area is swept by strong winds. |
