Pulled in around 12:30am. Within minutes had the security come over saying no overnight parking. Stick to either of the Walmarts

Parked here instead of the one farther because we don’t want to drive the RV though unlaced road. Quiet safe and peaceful spot by the lake with running path.

No restrictions on large vehicles! We were here with our MAN truck camper three times and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Price still N$ 150 ppn. Very good restaurant, Arebbush also organizes a favorable transfer to the "Grove Mall".

Really chilled spot along Lake Kariba. The resident zebras, free canoes and hiking trails were a real highlight for us. Would also recommend the sunset boat cruise with really tasty snacks and stunning views! Bruce and Marlene are extremely welcoming, and keen for everyone to have as peaceful a stay as possible. The other staff including Test also looked after us really well (he even did our washing and cleaned our car whilst we were out hiking!). The ablutions were newly built and some of the nicest we have seen since arriving here.

This place is a public camping area (as seen on a board). Flat area next to the river "Arda". Enough space for several vehicles. You will find sitting areas, barbecues and a earth closet. Easy access also with big rigs, just below the street.

Nice park for a calm night with plenty of space. Some families passing by, but not invasive. Toilet is right around the corner.

This place smells amazing! All vegan, with many options including Menu of the Day, Pizza, rice plates, pasta, soups, breakfast, dessert and all of high quality.

we were able to park with our 6m van but it's tricky, although the parking lot employee helped a lot!

this place is doing solid business! people in and out constantly

We got THE campingspot right at the riverside (Oranjeriver). Nice place with a view over the river.
Clean ablution and hot water.

We paid ZAR350 for two adults and two children.

Nicely maintained campsite 7km outside of Francistown. Large abblution block with good showers and toilets. At the men's showers they opted for semi see through curtains, while the women's showers have normal doors. Can buy wood at reception and they printed our document for the border without charge. Decent campsite for a stopover.

Hello,
The last information seems very strange to me.
We were in Ugab Rhino Camp in november last year.
The camp was no longer operational, inhibited by mineworkers, and a big mess.
We were told that the camp was bougt by the mine and that we were welcome to camp in the ugab, which we did not.

Awesome spot to park and overlook the ocean from above. Short walk down to the sand. The ground is very level on most areas and ocean street goes pretty far for free overnight parking. Stayed in my skoolie and was not bothered at all

Finally find the place… so forget my recent review. It was at the right of the train station, the first parking, where we see the no rv parking, cause us a little confusion. Pass a little monticule then you arrived in a big parking lot. It’s a 9hrs free parking.

Tried Rogue's site and thought this spot easier to get to. very rough road. You will want clearance. View of Shasta and Lassen, however, rocky and shrubbery- hard on feet, including dog feet.

one of our prefered living museum in Namibia. More authentic than most of the others. Important in our opinion is that the San are living permanently in the village that can also be visited to learn a little bit about the normal life in the bush.
We visited the traditional life, did the bush walk and visited the modern village for 400 $N pp.
