The original description is OK. Stayed here for one night.

Although there's no assigned RV/Bus long parking spots as Cracker Barrel normally has, we were 3 RVs parked here for the night.

Was going to stay but the road down was full of a lot of large puddles, if it rained anymore not sure I would have gotten out with my car.

Nice place, but seems like a local hangout judging by all the beer cans around. Decided to move on to Gosling lake

Camp site with electricity points and chalets available too.
One ablution block.

Called ahead & was instructed to park on the side of the lot closest to Burger King, which is opposite where other reviews say to park. Not sure if they changed their preferences, or if it really matters.
The train woke me up a few times, but no other noise or disturbances beyond that. A few other vans and RVs were in the lot as well.

Really nice spot, super natural, near the mountains and in the middle on a really beautiful garden. On November 2021 it was open. We payed 240M$ for 2 peoples and a tent. A lot of Mexicans during the weekend. 10M$ for a combi to Tepoztlán. Great restaurant “Quetzalcoatl something” in Amatlán, 5min walking. Just, be careful, there is scorpion during this season in this area ;)

A welcome oasis, a small, safe place to stop for the night after crossing the border before heading south. Dora and Luis made us feel welcome. No shower, just a toilet, 150 Ps for our Toyota Sienna sleep in car.

Stayed two nights. Lovely short wooded walk to the creek. Very busy. Several cars coming and going both days all day and one other van the first night. Minimal road noise and some phone signal. Trash and recycling bins.

this place still exists as described. I was also able to squeeze behind the trailer to hide from the street and leave at sun up.

felt safe and quiet.

Very basic and also expensive. A kitchen you can use in theory but is used a lot by owners. Can take bicycles into rooms. Good location for the sights of Rio grande (of which there are none).

We arrived around 6pm. We told the reception guy that we wanted to visit the park the next morning and asked if it was okay to stay the night. Everything was fine and there was a sink with soap, but the toilets were closed during the night. No traffic during the night, so it’s a very quiet place.

Quiet and great place not too far outside NOLA

We were able to fill in about 5kg gaz bottle at the enterprise next door called "Solgaz" for 22,50 bols.
But the latter didn't have the right adaptator for our brasilian bottle : YPFB did. The guy from YPFB lend it to Solgaz' lady and 2 hours later our bottle was filled! Yipeee!

Should add that these lots are more van-friendly than RV-friendly. Larger rigs would have trouble fitting.

We stayed here twice in November, one other camper both times. Although next to the road, it was very quite. Only a few vehicles passed. Beautiful spot.

Might be in the street behind or front. mechanic for motorcycles. Good guys and know what they are doing. The head mechanic Osman is skilled and help you right away. They don't speak English but you can translate and make them understand.

As described, absolutely epic place.
River was knee deep for us as well, solid ground.
Higher rigs (+2,5-2,7m) need to do an extra river crossing, which looked not frequently used, no idea on the depth.

The hostal 700m to the right, where you can eat (quite expensive) is also a turtle Sanctuary. You can ask if there is a nest hatching and join the release.

What a lovely place. Grassy campsite. Clean shared ablution. Lots of space, beautiful surrounding with lots of birds. View of the hillsides is very nice. 280 for 2 persons. We were here alone.

We found this place, because in the evening we didn't want to enter the border to Iraq and it was a good decision. The place has been good so far, very easy to access and with a nice view onto Silopi. Here and there a car came along, but nobody was interested in us. Just a little bit of trash was lying around.

Perfect location to meet other overlanders. Wifi available but a bit slow. The place itself is lovely. The hosts are very nice. There is a township nearby but we felt secure. We would suggest to drive to the location from the south if it’s already getting dark. If you drive via the northern route you’ll have to pass the township. During the day it isn’t an issue though.

nice free spot that I can only wish that we had back in Québec. sunset are amazing
careful for rattle snakes I stepped on one in the middle of the road I wasn't paying attention and walked backwards talking to my friend. I got so lucky.

Nice campsite, but be carefully with the price. The Manager means that since the weekend it is high season and we paid 175 ppn and no negoation was possible. Afterwards we  checked their Homepage and could book it for 150 ppn. We where here two days and told the manager that this was not so nice, but the answer was that it is normal that an internet price is less.
We where the only Camper, but if it is full there is no privatcy between the sites

GREAT LOCATION right outside the park. Like everyone says, the best spot is to the right, down the little road to the end. Close to the river and private. Someone said you need a 4x4. I don't think you do, we made it down there with our van. It is sandy and I am sure horribly muddy after rain, so use your judgement. If you have a large rig, stay to the left and park up top. Easy in and out.

stayed here about a week. cell service was good and plenty of spots to stay.

Slept in my car here for 2 nights (Mon and Tues) while UC Davis was in session. No problem finding a spot to park. Felt surprisingly quiet and private. Nice to be able to walk to grab groceries — no easily-accessible public bathrooms there, though. I used the bathrooms near Davis Skate Park and the bathrooms + WiFi + electricity at the public library. Both are less than 1km from this spot.

Good place, safe but noisy due to the train station.

Wide Gravel lot right off the Blue Ridge Pkwy on Webb Cove Rd. Heading south on BRP it will be on your right. Heading north it will be on your left. We arrived after dark and left with sun rise and no one bothered us. Another van jones us at some point through out the night. 1 bar on T-mobile and 2 bars of Verizon.

Parked at on the far side near lawn and garden stealth car camped but there were 2 rvs overnight in the same area, didn't experience any problems
