Amazing place to stay, next to the restaurant directly on the lake. Has toilets, shower and wifi for 100 cordobas the night / per car. Absolutely stunning!

Ok for a night. 3 or 4 long termers but mostly people traveling through. Reasonably quiet.

About 0.5 mile down Kitchen Creek rd. Great quiet spot with 2-3 relatively flat spots for a van. 2wd accessible but high clearance might be helpful once you pull onto the dirt or just be extra cautious with lower clearance. Kitchen Creek Rd itself is old pavement with some potholes. Great spot to watch the sunset is up a small trail that heads NW through the metal railing and up the hill where a big boulder sits overlooking the mountains and valleys to the west.

Sorry to report it seems the authorities have caught on. Entrance is clearly marked No Camping and “Closed from Sunset to Sunrise.”

Great spot with plenty of space. No rain today, so I parked on the clay.

The road itself didn’t have any traffic, but you can definitely hear some sort of operation/airport down the road and there are car lights from the main road that break through the trees.

Overall, decent space - I’m definitely happy not to be on 79.

There is some sort of operation/construction going on close by because it’s definitely fairly noisy. Also, the lights from 79 break through the trees. (Even at 11pm)

That being said, the dirt road itself hasn’t had one person through since I parked around 8:30pm, so I’m very happy to be off the main drag some.

The ablutions are amazing and we had power from a extension. Food is very good. Definitely worth to stay when you are Overlanders. But $20 pppn is too much for a family... We paid $10 for adults and $5 for children (0-3 is free).

Highly recommend! It‘s the best place outside of the Kafue NP. It‘s situated directly on the bank of the Kafue-River. A lot of space, very nice hot shower, very clean toilet and kitchen facilities. Mark and his staff are very helpful, friendly and obliging.

Large shopping complex with a large parking lot. I asked the shift manager at Walmart if we could stay in their lot for night. She said yes, but the lot is not theirs and she asked for us to park in the treed area away from the building.
It was quiet all night. Store closes at 11:00 and opens at 6:00 am.

This is a multi-brand shop, Paquin is a nice guy and can fix just about anything. He is my neighbor and I am delighted to help overlanders who pass through my land.

Place of payment to discharge gray water and fill clean water, you can also sleep. It is also allowed to sleep in the surrounding streets for free.

This is a small restaurant but its food is homemade, it has a menu of typical dishes of the area around € 8-10 and it also has a daily menu of € 12 with two first courses and two main courses to choose from, including bread, wine and soda or water. Does not include coffee. Hopefully you are lucky and the day you come there is "FABADA" which is a typical dish of Asturias. On weekends it gives € 10 very rich pizzas only for dinners. It also has wifi and clean bathrooms. The owner Noelia is nice and friend of pets although pets have to be on the terrace. You can also drink Cider and the waiter will serve it to you a meter away from the bottle to the glass, that is called "ESCANCIAR" and it is very typical of Asturias

we pulled out with our 37 ft RV and tow vehicle and had no issues staying here for the night. It's a great view. you can hear the ocean and mild noise from the road only heard one truck using it's engine brake throughout the night.

Parking lot next to a mall. Found parking space everyday here. Near a park, quiet. The mall has Migros (grocery), cafe with wifi and many shops.
