On Frontage Road just down the road from Hampshire Rocks Campground on South Yuba River. Near freeway so some noise but more like white noise. Beautiful spot along river. Our dog loved it and so did we. No one bothered us, only 2 cars drove by. Neat waterfall just downstream from our van.

Disappointed. Site is very messy - lots of broken glass, beer cans, old washing machine and, worst - the skin of a dead pig which gives off quite a stench. difficult to find flat spot. Cleaned it up a bit (tried to cover the pig with rocks/dirt). Another spot close by (same entrance) but even less level.

Pulled in after dark, only saw one truck come by to turn around. Some traffic noise as others have said but not bad. Great Verizon phone service. Stayed in 136 promaster van, would stay here again.

Coming from Catemaco on the road 180 and direction Villahermosa, we payed 81 pesos to the toll. No police, no control.

We paid 500 pesos per person and another 300 for the vehicle in April/22. It was very busy, but we managed to park close to the river. As it was Saturday night there was loud music in the area and this was a little unpleasant because we wanted to rest. The wi-fi doesn't work in the camping area and for a paid place the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired, but the shower is hot. We intended to stay 3 days but left at dawn.

Still here and open. Great little tour of the bees and lots of nice products! It’s on google maps but I didn’t see a sign on the house. Easy to find by asking the neighbors.

Quiet campsite next to the wedge overlook. Amazing views and had two 30 foot rvs that fit with no problem.

I did not see any signs prohibiting overnight parking. There is limited parking in the dirt/gravel lot. It’s about 100yards from the beach. I’m parking at the end of the lot furthest from the beach. There are condos next to the lot so I suggest stealth parking.

Large lot of a closed store across from Cracker Barrel. No “no overnight parking” signs. Saw several other rigs here. Quiet and well-lit.

Miles of forest service road with varying camp sites with fire pits. Two bars of ATT cell service and lots of firewood from dead trees. No facilities but the closest camping to the Grand Canyon possible. Lots of fly overs from helicopters doing tours throughout day

I was the only car here, but I had no problem to sleep! Close to Baton Rouge.

Reopened on the 1st April under new management. Major clean up of the bush and grounds. Only $25 tent or $32 full service. Best free showers, super hot!!!! Good place to camp if visiting the islands. Grab a sausage egger from Mugz coffee shop on the way. The best!!!

Nice. Simple Hotel. Attractive cactus gardens and iron petroglyph art. Concierge can't give much info about exploring the area. Checking iOverlander🤙

We were pleasantly surprised by this overnight stop off having crossed into Zim at Beitbridge. Campsite not yet reopened post covid but they gave us a simple and nice rondavel for $20 (same as camping rate). There is a terrace overlooking a river and a thatched restaurant which serves good food. Overall a great stop off for post-border weary travellers.

Great overnight. Safe, a bit of road noise, bathrooms open all night. Also a chance to see the famous Mystery Lights. . Unfortunately I did not but had a good night’s sleep.

Very nice place, payable rooms and many facility’s (bar, kitchen several terraces, showers and toilets are very good conditioned). Permanent cleaning people from dusk till dawn. Many areas to sit, swimming pool, laundry service, 24/7 support from the nice woman’s at the desk (always smiling and friendly). All is surrounded by trees and palms- very green and many birds. 1km/ 12 min by feet are ATM, Mall, Technical, Liqueur Stores, Bars, Coffee and Breakfast Restaurant. They also offer local meals from their own cooking stuff.
2 Rooms for 4 people with own bathroom 55$. Camping one spot 9$. 2 people rooms from 25$. Ask for the 2 people cottage on top of the facility.

Mr. Sereme, the Manager is a very nice and good person, has a perfect network and can help with many problems. Also can organize tours and has a couple mechanics which has no fear to face big technical issues on your car/ overlanding rig to very fair prices.

Very powerful WiFi, some people used here for a work and travel base.

Here is nothing impossible, perfect place for a visit of beautiful Harare. We had several police check points and every officer was happy and smile and say thanks for visiting Zimbabwe🙂.
