SeNaSa Office. In this office you can do all the paperwork to cross the border with your pet. The paperwork in the same day cost Ar$1600 or Ar$300 in 72h. First you have to go to the Vet and then to this office!

Recargamos 5kg por 27 soles. Un señor de pocas palabras pero hacen el trabajo, mejor recargar antes de Juliaca porque nos han comentado que hay mucho desorden

Stayed one night. Washrooms lo locked but a porta potty was outside.
A couple of RV were at the location. We were the only travel trailer.
Lots of kids with fast cars doing donuts etc in the parking lot. Police came by twice while we were there.
Lovely viee6of the lake, clean and lots of tables and benches around. I would suspect that in season this pla e is packed.
Thanks though to the town for making this available and having a 24 . 7 dump station on site and having free wifi.

For folks following the TEMBR, or any cyclist friend - this town is a place to resupply and/or pitch your tent if you need to. We stopped here for a snack but folks told us camping here is allowed. The soccer field has covered areas and there is water around.

We saw a bakery across the street as well.

Open in late May 2022. Quiet, clean and pleasant enough.

Beautiful and quiet spot. Soaked in the heart tub in the late afternoon and we had the place completely to ourselves! The road was dry on the way in and it is rutted the closer you get to the springs. We didn’t have any trouble driving our 170 2 WD Sprinter here.

The water pipe broke this past winter and Cabellas will not fix it as per manager, very nice place, but after 6 pm both days that we stay here were full

Really nice coffee shop and a great place to get some work done. WiFi, AC and plugs.

it is on a main street so lots of traffic noise, it is great for a night or two. next to a senior apartment complex.

24 hour Planet Fitness with a large parking spot. I asked a worker and she said it shouldn't be an issue to stay overnight. No issues in my Travato. Near a major road so somewhat noisy.

$7 nice private showers. They were open until 10 which is later than most places I’ve been to and nice after a long day.

Still 5$ for a short but interesting tour of the little factory. We tasted a hot chocolate at the end. They sell nips, cacao powder and chocolate bars in a tiny shop.

Per posted sign, camping is permitted April 1 - October 31 for a maximum of 7 days in 30.
Toilets not working, but there is a portable toilet.
Good cell service. Fairly level next to park, more level in boat launch parking lot. Tonight there are two large rigs next to boat launch with plenty of free space. There are about 8 of us with smaller rigs or cars in the parking lot at the park with many open spaces. Dumpster is available. It's been windy here all day.

All other spots at the Tajumulco Trailhead we're closed when we arrived late. asked at the Gas Station. Owner was very friendly, said the station is open 24h and we can use the open banos. Quied and safe. The whole area seems to be calm and unspectacular.

All the spots are pretty level, but it’s a very small lot. Not good for big rigs, although there were two giant RVs here taking up half of the parking spaces on this night, so it’s manageable. There is street parking behind the lot that might also work. Busy shopping center with lots of food nearby.

Hot (super hot!) showers and a 120V plug at the back of the shower units between the dish cleaning spots

Wonderful place, stunning scenery but the power generator is annoying. It makes a lot of noise. So don’t go here with kids as they are not able to sleep with such a noise. It is shame that such a wonderful place is ruined by a power generator and these guys not using solar panels during the day. The sunsets are spectacular and the sunset cruise is a must do!

Vagia Beach. Place is as described, soft gravel is tricky with a heavy car. Don’t follow Google maps as this leads you to the wrong bank; take the second path if you are coming from the direction of the airport.
