A number of smaller, flat sites are nestled up along the bank of the sometimes flowing sometimes dry Eyre Creek. Eucalyptus and coolibah trees offer nice shade and abundant bird life. Dunes provide good wind protection and nice sunset viewing.

Public spot for overnight camping in an otherwise very sparse area to find a place to sleep.

once again I have returned to this town, the square is prettier and the views of the salt flat are wonderful, I was pleasantly surprised to see many flamingos at the entrance of the town

Safe location for an overnight spot. A few other rvs and trailers.

The place has seen better days but they just built a new toilet/shower building for campers. Electricity during night hours because you plug into the lightpost next to the road. Relaxed between trees, fresh temperatures and away from people. They charged 2,5M/night.

22 overnight sites with picnic tables & fire pits. Water pump, pit toilets, boat launch, gravel beach, and more tables in the day use area. Host on site. Completely free unless you want to buy a bundle of firewood. Max stay is 14 days.

Drive to this site was easy with 2WD in the rain, road to the West had a lot of potholes and was more challenging (you ever felt like your car was a boat on a rough sea?)

Would definitely stay here again and for an extended period.

Lowes parking lot next to Walmart. Very quiet, a few other campers and big rigs staying at Lowes and Walmart next door. Fairly quiet night, although there were some people playing music in the parking lot (they stopped by midnight though).

No signs anywhere about no parking, and no one bothered us.

Starting to get what looks like disabled RV/busses on the street. Putting tents on the sidewalk next to broken down RVs. Looks like the city has put up a few Porta potty’s.

It was a nice spot, great view on the superior lake. It was very calm, we were the only van there

Great place to stay, no one here when we were, couple vehicles went to boat launch but that’s it. Great view of the lake, if you come make sure to clean up after yourself to keep this place so nice

Nice campground on
a small river where you can fish. It was really quiet when we were here but the guy told us that there are a lot of visitors on weekends. They come to party so maybe it is better to come during the week. Clean bathroom with shower. We payed 70'000$ for two people with two motorcycles and a tent.

Quartier Makana, Franceville; Standard room FCFA20.000, VIP room FCFA28.000, bar, restaurant. Good bed, air-con. Wi-Fi was not working during my stay.

Perfect stop for Carwash with really nice guys!Fast, clean and fair price. Looks like you can sleep there too, they have a big green garden with shade, but we didnt ask.

This is a private road owned by a mining company, there's no direct route to Cotahuasi from this point.

and when there is no attendant, there is nobody to take the day fee.

exactly as mentioned in previous posts , random couple cars also parked over night, we assumed 'responsible' drinkers from the bars , but peacefully slept ...close to public toilets and beach showers

Very professional workshop, experienced staff, very obliging, excellent price, plenty of parking.

Great views and remote.
Recommend low roof vehicles due to many overgrown trees. Nothing major, but might scratch up larger vehicles (I choose violence). Good road/not too bumpy Several option along the road in and further up as well. 1-2 bars ATT- enough for YouTube etc…

Just marking this spot next to the grass field as a place that had a strong AT&T cell reception. Small area to park next to road. Not good for camping, but ok for working if you need cell.

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful place. It is a great place to rest for few days. There are 3 different species of monkeys, all very nice and cute. The benefits of this campsite/lodge go to the community, to pay for the teachers.

We arrived too late to visit Pirineus State Park, so decided overnight in this gas station. They offer hot shower (R$ 7 pp), wc and convenience. Closed 10pm-4pm (gate closed). We felt safe.

Chegamos muito tarde para visitar o Parqie Estadual dos Pirineus, então decidimos pernoitar neste posto de serviços. Disponível banho quente (R$ 7 por pessoa), banheiro e lanchonete. Posto fechado entre 22h e 4h. Nos sentimos tranquilos.

It's mineral water, not sulfur. Locals told us not to exceed the following times: 30 minutes, pause, 15 minutes, pause, 5 minutes. Internet can be difficult. Otherwise gorgeous place.
