Stayed one night. Lovely camping site and Riana very helpful. Wood available to buy and very convenient ablution blocks. Many birds due to blossoming Acacia trees. |

Large overnight parking for commercial and private vehicles next to Restaurant/bar. Super friendly owners, great food. Showers (Fee) and free wifi. A bit noisy but safe and right off highway. Good for one night if in a pinch |

Beautiful spot. No trouble getting here in my lifted Outback. Two bars of T-Mobile 5G. The brush has grown over all the fire pits but fires aren’t allowed right now anyways. There’s smoke in the valley but I can still make out the shape of the cascades. Hoping for a pretty sunrise in the morning! |

We went to stay here but the bugs were awful at night. You couldn’t open the door with the lights on and not have bugs flood in. We were getting bugs out of our van for days. |

beautiful spot!! No "no overnight" signs here...there's "no overnight parking" on the entrance to the beach just before this pull off so if you see that just go back to the main road and take the next left. Pretty level closer to the road, we used leveling blocks so we could be away from the road more. A few cars went by at night but with the sound of the waves you can't even hear them. Such a nice spot, clean and warm water, and a beautiful sunrise. |

Place is as described. It was VERY dark because there were no lamps at all but people still came by to walk dogs with flashlights. Quiet night, no issues. |

Great hostel !!! Friendly owners who help us to book tour in Salar of Uyuni and South Lipez. There is a secure parking without height restriction. And they can keep our vehicule during tour. 44 dollars for a night in a triple room with private bathroom. Including breakfast. You can fill your water jerrycans. |

Five Blues Lake National Park Has some neat history behind it, Apparently the lake has drained twice in the past several years, And it didn’t Drain slowly, it drained in about 2 days or so. It is full right now. There are also some small caves that we explored. They are very neat! They go from one opening to another connecting them by tunnels/caves between them. In the wet season you would defiantly want 4wd with good clearance. There are a couple rivers you have to cross as well. |

Very secluded camping with good access to hiking in the Enchantments. We were woken up by a mountain lion at 3am, so keep a clean camp. The road in was a bit longer than it looks on the map as well. |

This is the most northerly point of the Island. You can camp here for free next to the sea. There are no facilities at the side. On clear days you can see Scotland and the Lake District. The seals are on your doorstep and there are a lot of different birds to watch. |

This is definitely our favourite place in Gambia! We were so heartly welcomed by the staff as well as by the animals. Everyone made it so easy for us to discover and understand their work and made us learn a lot. Helping hands and a little extra love for the animals are always appreciated. They really do incredible work there. It was great fun for us to take the dogs on a walk through the beautiful surroundings and explore the woods and river banks. To reach the place it is nice to have a 4x4 during the rainy season, but is also possible without. Big rigs may have to cut some trees, depending on the season. The team appreciates, if you let them know a couple of days in advance about your arrival. You can contact Christina via WhatsApp: +357 96 635863 (she is from Cyprus, so no worries about the number). |

Beautiful campspots! Many big flat meadows next to the beautiful village of Dartlo. The road from Omalo to Dartlo is narrow but it‘s a beautiful tour. From Dartlo you can continue to Girevi (it‘s the farthest you can go by car). Many small stone villages and towers along the way but Dartlo is the prettiest. |

Beautiful spot! Unfortunately didn’t get to see any paragliders fly but would be an amazing experience, everyone who came up the mountain was friendly and respectful. Lots of deer at night. Watch out, there are some rattle snakes that live in the area, my partner ran into one behind the bathroom door!! |

So we got to the El Naranjito at about 3pm all excited and ready about this spot but we were quickly disappointed by the good that had the rope up. they completely refused to let us by, we argued with them for what felt like forever but this guy was not budging at all. He kept asking us to go to the down the road. He had a guide tshirt and a PFD on him. He insisted we needed a guide to pass the rope and kept directing us down the road. We ended up leaving and camping by the other river closer to town (I'll leave a review for this as well). So what we ended up doing was left after a frustrating haggling, slept at the other river spot. Woke up at 630am, drove back to this spot, there wasn't anyone at the time, drove about 3km and you'll find another gate, a lady came out of her house asked 40pesos and opened the gate for us, she gave us directions to the falls. drove and parked at this place, walked to the falls with our little kids no issue. swam and enjoyed the area all by ourselves and headed back at about noon. We saw the guide on our way back and he literally turned his back to us. We do understand that they are making money and we respect that but not everyone wants a guide. It's a very easy hike with good shoes and common sense. we did it with twin toddlers, they are 4years old and managed down and up the steep stairs. We respect that they have to make money but it would be nice to have the option of guide or no guide. So my advise would be either get a guide or go before 8am or after 5pm and stay the night. We preferred where we stayed though because this spot has way more bugs. |

Very nice and peaceful. It is not free…read signs on the washroom building. You pay at the municipal building on an honour system which many don’t seem to honour🙁. It’s $20 a night which is more than reasonable considering water and electricity! First come first serve except the Shawville fair (Sept 1-5), reserved and super busy! It really is a little gem of a park! Beautiful weeping willows, maintained grounds, a little stream. |
