Large parking. Arrived at 9PM. Stayed for 1 night with our RV. Long walk on the beach!

Water pump in the auto side across from the gas station on the highway side. Near the pet walk area.

Nice resting stop, clean bathrooms. Right of the highway and there are picnic tables.

Free river campsites on established BLM land. There are 4 or 5 free campgrounds along this route, 1 BLM fee site closer to town. There are picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets and these are not wooded sites. Some have more brush and bushes than others that provide a little privacy. FYI - The cows come out to graze in the sites.

Absolutely beautiful place to catch the sunset/ northern lights/ star/ sunrise. Smells a lil off due to te saline in the water and a bit rattling when a car passes by but well worth the spot! Be careful there are mice!!

i parked in john cabin regional park parking lot. came in at night, no one here. very quiet just traffic hum and minor lights for nearby highway. early mon morn buses used the area to prerp before their route. by 6:30am starts to fill in w dog walkers and park goers. park officials opened the restrooms around 7am. google maps was weird getting to the parking lot because there are many entrances.

Everything as described. Andrew was quite welcoming to our team as we arrived late at night.

It’s sort of a historic boutique hotel. Very clean, extremely attentive and kind staff, secure parking for motorcycles, hot showered, hot coffee, and only 10 minutes from Hidalgo.We paid 500 mxm for a room and it felt like we were underpaying. Just an extremely pleasant experience.

a little farther from the exit than I thought, but just a couple miles. one of the cow grates on the road up is getting washed out on one side, has a good drop there but passable. gps takes you to the gate. the gate sags a little after to unlatch it, the lifting comes in when latching it again. opening in the wire fence is easy to find. one fire pit. pretty good size area enclosed by fence. good Verizon signal. you can definitely here the i40 traffic but it is pretty muted. had the place to myself last night.

We slept here parked next to shop. Safe but pretty noisy with trucks arriving. WiFi is free but very slow. Basic shop the restaurant was closed. Toilets was OK and no shower.

Great spot with plenty of space. Only 1 other car here overnight. Had no issues and is very quiet through the night, but a little noisy in the morning as it's right next to the road

Several camp sites with fire pits around the area. Nice and quite, just a bit of noise from the highway.

The place is not really open but you can stay here. It is right now 10 soles per night. You have clean bathrooms, a cold outdoor shower, a dish washing area and beautiful nature around. We think it is a good deal. We just drove in and waited until someone arrived. Sadly the infrastructure is a bit run down due to the lack of tourists during the pandemic.

The street to get there has some ditches but it was doable with our pretty low Fiat Ducato. The gate is a bit challenging as well with a length of 6m. If you are bigger it could be tricky.

Very very good place to stop 12 RV little bit noisy because of the train but so well being welcome that doesn’t Mather, no services but all services can be found close around

Very friendly people, Office was closed, but I called the number on the door in five minutes office was opened.

Nice, clean, opened mon-fri according to Google maps, still price of 3.25 for unlimited hot shower.

Spent a night here with about 3 or 4 other vans. It was relatively quiet minimal road noise and the train wasn’t loud. The stars were beautiful during the night.
