This is a small turn out by the river about a mile off the main road. Good gravel road slightly washboard. We have a 45’ Rv with a trailer. Since there was no place to turn around my husband backed it into this spot. It is well worth it!! Such a beautiful view! A little hot this time of year but have a feeling it will cool down nicely at night. So happy to have this app that gives me so many wonderful options to boondock!

Stunning location. Road is rough up to this place, easy for a land cruiser though. Beautiful stop, peaceful, stunning views and garden. Do not miss. Restaraunt with delicious food. Camping for 2 was 77,000. Friendly and very helpful and cheerful Owner Elaine helped us with some repairs needed on the vehicle and sourcing a trusted mechanics car insurance . Staff are incredible and attentive all the time. We stayed 2 nights because of our vehicle issue. What a wonderful place to be stuck. Highly recommend.

Extrêmement cher ! En pleine reconstruction au moment où nous y sommes. Payé 108$ pour un site avec électricité 15 A pour notre motorisé de 24 pi. L’eau est disponible à certains points sur le site et il y a une station de vidange. Mais sans réservation faite d’avance, on n’a pas le choix si on veut passer la nuit à Tofino.

Payé 78$ le 29 août 2022 pour un site avec tous les services. Très beau camping avec des aménagements de végétaux de bon goût. Les sites sont près les uns des autres, mais des haies de végétaux des permettent une certaine intimité . Accès à la plage où la vue est magnifique.

very nice place to stay for a while. Tables and Fire Pits. 2 sites with electricity more than 30 sites with full service. Some shady sites, most are sunny sites.

Very friendly staff, there is a bar and restaurant with an amazing view over the waterhole. Sites are basic, abbalutions good and showers are hot

Beautiful landscape w/ shady trees and lots of flowers. Fully booked on a Tuesday night in late Aug 2022. Cute little check-in and gift store, nice bathrooms/ showers, full hook ups, dog area and not too far from interstate.

just a paved pull off alongside the hwy. There are trees between the hwy and the parking so I suppose that'll me a little of the nose but it's also not a busy hwy so there's that. Very clean and nice area. clean and well taken care of. there's a few concrete picnic tables and lots of trees. you cannot drive up to them, but they're there. I haven't investigated the area bc it's raining but I've only seen one other vehicle come by so far.

I arrived late at this place after 10 hours driving from Moyale and 24 police roadblocks on my way and was simply too exhausted to move to another place. They demanded 1.000 Birr just for parking. No wifi, no pool, no toilet used, no shower provided. I will not come again.

As described, dont follow blindly the coordinates. Its a little passed the mile marker 197. Or use the coordinates from the original post for the gate. Lots of spaces. Full cell signal. A few cows in the way.

Was free to shower! Woman’s showers only had one shower with a curtain and mens showers has no curtain. Shower pressure was amazing and the staff were friendly.

looks like the price has gone up loads! Cost for a room (double bed, a/c) was $25 or 16,000colones. Brought both our bicycles into the room no problems.

Tried the parque y soda up the road but they said no camping allowed so felt like we had no choice but to stay in a hotel due to it being after dark and not knowing the lay of the land.

Room itself is nice enough, there’s also a pool you can swim in.

Restaurant downstairs serves set meals for 3,500c.

Tried to ask to camp here- not allowed for bicycles. Man at the place recommended a llantera up the road but due to darkness we just went to a hotel instead
