Great reasonably priced ($25 full service) campground. Website says laundry available, but it is no longer. Approaching end of season so there was no (free) firewood left. Some expected highway noise. Would certainly stay here again.

Always here, always nice, always full of mosquitos. The access road is on maps.me. 100m before the spot : two roads, take the right one and take care of the branches.

I always stop by this rest stop if I’m traveling through the area. Very clean, tended to daily, nicely air conditioned. Clean water fountain, good for filling small water bottles. There’s a vending machine for soft drinks. There’s three different areas to park. In front of the bathrooms, down by the water or up on the scenic overlook. Must leave rest stop before moving to a different section due to the one ways.

Lots of picnic tables, a fire pit down by the water, pavilion with picnic tables. There’s a designated area for dogs.

10 hour limit - had no issues with using staying for an hour or two, doing something for the day and then coming back to sleep for the night. Be respectful, no one will have an issue.

Diesel here is expensive in comparison. $2.86 here. $2.01 in Baie Comeau, $2.13 in Labrador city.

Asked the Information center for permission and the gentleman said okay on the side far side not in front. Road noise was loud but did die down at night. Nice for a night passing through.

Small dead end road that leads to what looks like an unofficial camp site. Two fire pits and enough room for a few vehicles. Steep, sandy road. No issues overnight.

320 in off season, you have to pay in Uilenkraalsmond Holiday Resort Gansbaai but the lady was kind enough to let us pay after our stay when we passed Uilenkraalsmond. Maybe better call ahead 0718542424

There is a small clearing just off of FR 694 (north side of the road) with a small stone fire ring. Nice and quiet spot. Shady from all the trees. One bar of T-Mobile LTE. Fine for messages, not much else. Could probably fit a bigger rig here too. We were looking for the spot marked in iOverlander just west of this spot. There was nothing there but we found this a little further up the road. Thought I’d update with more accurate coordinates. ✌🏻

We tried to find this spot, but there wasn’t really anywhere to park at these coordinates. But we found a spot a little further east up FR 694. I added that spot to the map.

Waterfalls, picnic area, trails, porta potty. Off the highway but still has some traffic noise. Great stop for us. There are other spots in the area. This is part of the state park but if labeled as one I usually skip since they usually require 2 night reservation.

We drived the C-120, a really good road just like a paved road and no holes.
What they said before, (now in low season) you can go into the park and drive around without paying, but we felt better to pay and support this nice park. It is now 7400 pesos per person. You can hike first and go after to the ranger station to pay, it is not a problem. They are really friendly.

Hike almost 2,5kms to the viewpoint and 2,5 back. Nice route over a sandy path next to the cacti, there are even 2 stops on your way to the viewpoint with benches and information about the flora and fauna you can find here. We saw some guanacos on our way. Viewpoint is a really nice lookout over the coastline, sea and the island.

Great blm camp we had to ourselves, quiet despite close proximity to road. 2 sites accessible by any vehicle; ; more need high clearance. Don’t miss the picture rock 50 feet south of road at the pass, walkable from camp. Watch out for rattlesnakes we nearly stepped on one curled up near a rock.
