Was not possible pass the checkpoint (30.97018° N, 46.04393° E) at the west. They told us to come from direction Nasiriya. Some checkpoints later we could visit Ur.

Not possible to stay ther over night anymore, because of military area.

Entrancefee 25.000 per person

The morning sun would be best for pictures.

Great place to get fixes and maintenance done for bikes mainly sold in Europe / the US.

They know their stuff well, are treating bikes with the proper attention and care and besides that offer a great place to just hang out.

For my Tenere 700, they fixed a broken cable, a bent handle bar and built a custom solution for my luggage rack. Full recommendation!

There is public wifi available at this park, not sure how far it reaches but I was able to get it sitting outside of the small building that has bathrooms. There is also free wifi at the library that is just south of the park. This is a great place to stretch your legs or just be outside for awhile. Tons of public parking available.

I had the breakfast pasty, it was OK. It was mostly onions, I didn’t see any egg or sausage but maybe it was mashed up?
Owner was super nice and loved my van and wants to own one someday, too.
I saw fall/seasonal and vegan options, too.
Their hot sauce is a Chinese chili and it was an… interesting mix with the pasty. The owner told me he gets offended when people ask for gravy with his pasties. Heads up, lol!!
They have plates and forks to provide if you need it. There were different cake slices that looked really good, but I didn’t try.
No coffee available on the morning that I went, had to go around the corner to a coffee shop, but the owner gave me directions on how to get to two of them close by, which was nice. I always love old fashioned directions without the use of a device.

One of a few that we came across. They have beans, rice, chicken and some other stuff. Tastes good, price is low (2500 for two dishes), people are nice, so all you can wish for when traveling between Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville :)

The spot is beautiful with a crazy view BUT I don't recommend the place.
We are 2 friend families with children with 2 rv, the guard bothered us all evening. First he asked us to turn off our outside light because it was bothering the 2 other campers who wanted to see the stars, while we were eating.
Then he came to see us furious because we were chatting outside (yes that's what friends do), told us that alcohol was forbidden (we were having a digestive after the meal, no more) and asked us to go to bed.
We are respectful people and we were not making any noise. So to pay 400pesos for our 2 rv to be considered as offenders, never again for us.

It’s a rock climbing gym allowing vanlifers to use their lot for overnighting. The lot is small, so no big-rigs. They have a full rock gym, fitness center and yoga studio with showers. Super friendly staff. $30 for a day pass- which you must get to utilize the showers. Safe and quiet area and right across the street from Lowe’s, so if there’s not enough space, that’s an option too and there were lots of RVs and big-rigs parked over there when I visited. The gym is open until 11pm during the week but closes 6pm/8pm on weekends, so may stay busy well into the night depending on when you visit. Stayed one night at the gym lot and one night at Lowe’s and got a great nights sleep both nights!!

hostal fara is the place to go when you're close to bella vista! we stayed here 3 nights with our tent. The owner Fabian is very welcoming. camping is 3$ pp plus 5$ per vehicle (small grassy area for a tent)
rooms 22$ pp incl. breakfast
located directly at the beautiful calm and clean beach.
they have a stunning 360 degree view from their roooftop terrace where you can use their kitchen and hammocks.
They also offer Restaurant and Bar service.
nearby there are small basic tiendas and daily around 10 am arrives a pickup with fruits and vegetables.
A lovely place we really recommend and don't want to leave.

Parked up on a Friday night. Lots of cars with loud music coming through until midnight or so. Ear plugs were key! Fine for an overnight sleep with pretty views of the city and hiking right in the lot.

A nice pull off for a night. Big enough for two cars. There is also a big clean space, a fire pit(no fires allowed now!), and a flat space, good for a tent or two.

Very nice nature park, well laid out. There are three different trails. It's worthwhile to stop in this little known park. There is a nice campsite 1 km away called the Tricahue eco-camp.

MASSIVE parking lot. any rig can fit here. i read about this place on Campendium. i didn’t talk to the front desk or anyone. just parked in the very back and went to sleep. security rolled around quite frequently just making sure no one’s up to no good in the parking lot, but never bothered me. one of them drove right past me. full bars 5G TMobile. full bars LTE Verizon.

Nice clean restrooms, picnic area and there is even a power outlet beside the vending machine, I was able to charge my phone. As of 10-29 outdoor water fountain is turned off, but they still have nice hot running water in the 3 sinks inside.

Beautiful free camping area just at the border of the wildlife refuge where you can see wild bison. About 10 or more camp sites, most at the water's edge with fire rings, picnic tables and pit toilets. Definitely worth a stay.

There's a tap, 7 meters away from the street with potable water. Very low flow, but it's free. It took us 30 minutes to fill our 150 liter tank.
