Ficamos aqui por 2 dias, é um estacionamento público da prefeitura que é usado para estacionar os carros e o pessoal ir pra praia de galinhos e gratuito.
Fizemos a travessia para conhecer, somente venha pra cá se realmente for sua intenção, caso contrário é um estacionamento normal, não tem comércio próximo, apenas 2 lanchonete.
Se precisar, tem água, Banheiro e energia, fale com o Isaque ele que é o vigia que trabalha aqui de dia, ele desenrola.

Sinal da claro e Vivo pegam bem por aqui, não tivemos problemas. Eu uso um amplificador de sinal de celular rural, faz contato que te envio a instalação.

In the Parc National Talampaya, you can do several excursions. The most famous is the canyon that we did but you also have plenty of others options (even with bikes). Absolutely worth a stop ! A bit expensive but still. Jan 2023 price was 3500pesos for the National Parc entrance fees and 6400pesos for the excursion itself. It is not allowed to go inside the parc with your own vehicle but you jump in a big 4 wheelers truck which leads you to the 4 different stops. We found it really complementary with Ischigalsto NP and not the same at all.

Potable water by trailhead. Has hose connection but can't figure how to switch from main outlet. Good pressure early Jan.

Free mirador at the top of a really small mountain. Nice to stop for a quick view of the drawings.

Good place to camp, with water and free. Seems to be crowded especially on weekends.
Instead you can also camp before the refugio (look for the written words "shelter" next to the trail on maps.me (with running water) or all the way up at the laguna (without running water but a small lake of rain water)

Nice views, but still a bit dusty.

Nice stop for lunch, but wouldn't stay here overnight unless I had to. However there don't seem to be many better places towards Rio Tranquilo.

indeed the best place to stop if you don't want or can't drive the 8km up.
the road is gravel and in good condition but crossing another car is challenging as the road goes next to a cliff.

Still here. 41000 CLP for a double with private bathroom. Rooms are clean with reliable wifi. The guy at reception was drunk at 4pm but was still very nice.

No overnight and no parking between 1am to 5 am.

Lots of trash! Didn’t stay, we suspected it might be a party place due to all the bottles and trash bags that were blown around by the wind.

2 water stations. worked fine ignor previous review..he didnt know how it worked. attach hose. turn water on. water will flow out the bottom. pull down on coupling and will switch to hose

Food ranges from not great to acceptable. (Mostly stodgy fare with too much sauce/cheese. If you're hungry and want hot food it's all right. Sandwiches are probably the best option.) Clean with free wifi. They only accept cash or bank transfer as payment.

it was Mahmoud (Facilitator) who managed everything but it was still complicated and very long (about 10 hours). we contacted him by WhatsApp at +20 106 797 3155 ; he does not speak English well in real life but in writing thanks to Google translation, he manages very well. He is very nice. we made an appointment and he accompanied us from the purchase of tickets, to papers and to customs. we paid LE 11,000 for our motorhome over 7 meters and its driver, LE 5,550 for 3 adults passengers (over 12 years old = adult), LE 1,500 for customs clearance, 1,000 for port taxes, and 1,000 for the Facilitator. Total 20000 LE. the crossing lasts 7 hours and we were only with trucks. it is the slow boat but we have a cabin to sleep because the boat sails at night.

At the entrance they told us we are nit allowed to camp here.

be prepared because on the boat, there is not much to eat or drink because the boat is intended for truckers. there is no shower towel or toilet paper.

Nice and clean campground. 25.000 per night. owners lives across the entrance.

Restaurant that has a menu del día. Today was for 9500 clp and had a starter of tiradito, main of merluza and rice, bread and a dessert. Food was good and had a nice presentation. One of the cheaper options around town for a full meal, but in Chile nothing is really cheap. Put an entry for the restaurant because I wouldn't have found it under the hostel entry. Slow wifi but does the trick to get you connected. I even spent a rainy night in this spot and had no issues if you're looking for a free connected camp spot.

Great lakeside view, good swimming. water fill for RVs. Bathroom ok. But the views are certainly worth 200 pesos a night.

Suriname. Eduard Wolfstraat, 1 km from the main road. It's a dirt road with some stores around. Go straight to the beach.
Nice and muddy flat place.
Pray for some wind. Without it, the Moskitos are gonna eat you down.
Quiet to overnight.

Parking lot close to arestaurant some blocks away from the center. The owner in very friendly we ask if we could spend the night there. No services. very close to the laguna.

The first person to have put this spot on here to share, you are a wonderful human. This is an incredible spot. Absolutely beautiful for sunrises and sunsets, and a wonderful camping spot. Only a couple other people here, but it’s a very large area anyway. There’s parking lots too. There’s a bathroom and a couple cash vending machines for snacks. This is one of my favorite spots I’ve been to! Thank you to the people on this app!!!

Small and basic Hostal, has safe parking for motorbikes and cars, i got a double room with TV and private bathroom for $50 Bs without breakfast.

As described, you must detour around up towards the hill to circumvent the road that is being rebuilt. Anything but super wide rigs should make it. We are a combined 40+ ft truck and trailer. Nobody here on a Monday afternoon, one fisherman just pushed off.

No hot water when i was here. Had to take a wim hof shower. No dogs on the beach

Absolutely stunning !! View on - remaining - glaciers. Hopefully at sunrise no clouds.

The shower is now at 300$. Hot and quite clean !

stay was very nice, new concrete pads for large rigs, most of the staff speak good english. Staff is willing to help you find the right people if you need repairs for vehicals , they have tours for whales and cave paintings. Cost is average for campground in mexico
