Andy was super helpful in diagnosing a problem with our Ford Ranger air-con. A previous mechanic wanted to switch out the whole unit. He escorted us to his aircon specialist, who immediately diagnosed and solved the problem, which in turn solved another problem with our idling.
Aircon specialist gave us local prices, and Andy didn't even want to charge us, but we gave him $50,000 for all his help and time. Andy is a very friendly and chatty guy. What we liked about him was he was happy to admit when he didn’t know something and take us to someone who did, and he’s adamant that tourists aren’t ripped off. These traits can be few and far between, so it was really appreciated. Now our aircon blows icy cold!

Little bit noisy but every thing was good.

We sleep not too far from the gas station.

I was asking to Terry at the customer service and she said that « we are not supposed to have problem »

Trailhead parking for two. Flat. Quiet. No signs stating no overnight parking. 1 mile loop hike down to Sante Fe River. No facilities. We parked late and hiked in morning, then left. More of just a spot to sleep, than stay for too long. More parking across street. Suitable for larger rigs if needed. Verizon and AT&T worked fine here.

this is a no frills spot to pull over for the night if your headed either direction and don't want to navigate the roads at night if you haven't driven them . this is just east if Cervantes at entrance to Santiago. it's just a roadside spot beside the lake . recommend only for in van or in car camp . I wouldn't set up a tent here . you will likely hear trucks passing or braking on nearby highway but it's safe .. bonus good birdwatching

Beautiful view on the volcano BUT we don’t recommend this spot if you don’t have a 4x4 because the road is very very bad to climb up there…

Terrible spot para casas rodantes
No tienen agua caliente ni luz en las parcelas pero la vista y ubicación es alucinante, ideal para ir caminando a la playa dejar todo seguro, surfear unas olitas y ducharse con agua fría.

It’s a nice spot, felt safe and stayed for 3 nights, leaving the car parked there during the day to visit the beach and walk around the city.

I really recommend Pat for any biker cross Bangkok

Flat spot behind the shrine. Visible from the road, which would usually put us (cyclists) off, but things were very quiet when we were here and there’s not much by way of flat land nearby. Unlocked cow gate is enough to deter casual stoppers. Plenty of space for a vehicle too.

Nice restaurant, good food and the prices are fine. It's not in the corner. We had to ask for directions.

This was a quite place to stop as we traveled through Mexico with our dogs and our roof top tent (on route to Nicaragua). We paid $100 pesos (for 2 people). We arrived about 3pm, got our camp set up in a grassy area under the trees and then headed for a swim. This place is actually a small water park with several pools, water slides and a slide that goes into the river. The bathrooms are the kind you flush by pouring in a bucket of water, they were clean enough. The park closed at about 5pm and the staff closed the gate behind them and locked us in for the night. We had the place all to ourselves! This is a very safe location just a short drive off the highway, nestled around several family farms. The temperature cooled down in the evening here which made it great for sleeping. The park staff came back at 8:30 to open up and we were packed and ready to roll. You can see a full Vudeo review of this place on our YouTube channel Chris and Tovah's Amazing Adventures and check out our trip as we travel across Canada and down to our new home in Nicaragua.

Pretty decent slope, no cell service but other than that no issues. Please be clean as it's already hard to camp on the Bruce when they don't support it even though it's meant to be threw hikable. Who thought that up.

EL grifo de agua está aún. Frente al grifo hay un baño publico, se pide la llave del baño en el supermercado, se puede hacer el servicio del Poti en el mismo sitio.

Good place to stay for the night. A few others also stayed here. Was pretty quiet after 9 or so when all the staff left and the guy salting the car park was finished.

Art Déco Hôtel Clovis from the thirties. Lobby is interesting. Barber shop. Is now an appartement complex.
Same town is a Rock and Roll historic place with Norman Petty Studio. Look it up!
Worth stopping on your way for a break. Might even find a place to sleep for the night.

The place itself is very nice.

But, shower is cold, Wifi didn’t work in my apartment and was very slow in general.

Place is always noisy. Next door is music every night. Dogs barking everywhere. Workers at the property playing music all day.

Amalia, the caretaker is not honest. She tells her own stories the way it suits her. Her friendliness often comes across as fake. She is money driven.
She hates dogs and even threw rocks at my dog.

Best restaurant around is the Chines/Vietnamese/Thai called Mia Arroz.
