Small, but nice. Clean pit toilets. Less expensive than the County parks.

Older, funky, nice location. RV park visitors get free pool privileges, at 5 am pools get filled, at 6 am the pools are great for a dip. 9 am the pools are open to the general public. This is a great location to be based to visit Ajijic and other Pueblo Magicos. Quiet, close by grocery stores, hardware stores, and for us it was 1680 pesos a week for 2 people.

A lovely spot . feel free to use if you don't have animals When I pulled up to my chosen parking space close to dusk, two coyotes were wandering down the sidewalk. NOPE . . not with a 16 lb dog! I moved on.

We went here today, but it was too expensive, 25000 for two (I think it doesn't depend on what car/tent you are in)

Drove past the camp today and there was only a closed ramp, so we also think it's closed.

Very large, spacious parking lot attached to a corporate complex. Security patrols the lot near buildings, but I was never hassled while using the park.

Water fountains, tennis court, playgrounds, and lots of picnic tables. Large exercise installment available. The small lake is really very peaceful in the morning and a great spot to walk your dog. I felt like my van was very safe here.

Unrestricted free parking on Short Street behind the Circle K, and a couple other spots along the street

Gorgeoussssss beaches! Amazing for paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming. Tons is sea life, amazing rock formations. Palapas a plenty but it fills up quick. When we were here they did a morning shift and kicked everyone out at noon and then an afternoon shift and kicked everyone out at 5pm I believe. Would definitely come again!

Showers have no water. The sinks don't even have hot water. Toilets only.

drove all the way up there only to turn around. it’s about 1 mile on a dirt road.. i did it fine in my 22 fr motorhome but the flat overlook spot itself was washed out pretty deep in a lot of places- better suited for 4wd. it’s pretty far up a dirt road, slow going, and wouldn’t recommend for a solo female just in case you have to make a quick get away.

It’s a bit difficult to find, but it’s here. The location here is the back, go one more block and take a right to get to the front of the property. Right next to the Tecate Six. It’s a work in progress, but the owners are kind and generous and eager to provide comfort.

there are signs warning no overnight extended stays. that being said, there are a lot of other vans and rvs here and there were quite a few cars parked overnight as well. no security or cops came through. the road noise from the highway is pretty loud. safe, well lit, good for an overnight.

Quiet street, great to park and stay the night. Well-lit, clean, feels safe. Plenty of parking space when I was here. Seems to be a few residences, but mostly businesses. In the area are a gym, an organic store, small tiendas, and self-serve agua purificada station around the corner. A large wall on the north side of the street is a suitable place to park along. There is a walking path connecting this neighborhood with the Best Western / Convention Center / Planetarium area. I stayed a few nights and walked all the wqy to downtown a couple of times. Nice enough walk.

No signs posted. 12' height limit enforced by entry bars. Stayed one night with no issue. A little bit of noise from I-40, but quiet in the lot.

Nice free spot at lake side. Camping is allowed, there were some others campervans, there are restrooms (not maintained) and firepits

Next to the road, place for cars on leveled ground, not a quite street with cars but OK if you want to walk back from the city center. Shade of the trees on the side. More cars are parked during the day, in the evening none (when we got there).

Beautiful area with white dunes next to the sea. The area is huge but it‘s a very popular camping destination for the locals. Can be busy during weekends. Some fix camps along the dunes. But plenty of free space to find a good camping spot.
There are several good visible tracks on hard sand on which you don‘t need 4wd. But to reach the higher dunes and the shore deep sand driving and 4wd is needed.
Be careful when driving through the swampy areas between some dunes - there you can get stuck easily.

Passamos uma noite e foi super tranquilo. O posto tem um amplo espaço de estacionamento, banheiros com ar condicionado, banho gratuito e ponto de energia dentro do banheiro masculino. Você pode também lavar o carro caso queira, perto das bombas há uma mangueira e sabão que é disponibilizado para carros e caminhões. Há água gelada potável disponível para beber e também um restaurante com lanche e comida para quem quiser. Passamos uma noite e nos sentimos seguros.

No camping, my car is accepted as a "motorhome". Price is 85 brl for one night, one car, one person which I find a bit steep.
Noise from jet engines, starting airplanes, there must be an airport in the vicinity. Like 200m from here.
More annoying is the almost constant traffic of low flying sightseeing helicopters, though.
Goes on all day.
If you seek quiet, forget this.
The bathrooms for the "motorhome lot" are about 100m away. It is actually the showers and loo of the pool next to the restaurant, no special sink.
In the motorhome lot there is one pole with three power outlets, plus two water faucets. The water faucets didn't work when I tried them.
A bit of a (gentle) rip off, all of this.
BTW not clear why this is called eco hostel.

El Patagon
10.000 pesos for two people and our truck camper. Small campsite, can probably accommodate two vehicles. Each site has a different shelter with seating, a table, and possibility for a camp fire, with wood provided by the owner. Bathrooms are reasonable, although no hot water for showers at the moment as gas had run out. There is a tank with potable water available. It’s a nice, quiet spot for a night!

Good location at entrance to town. It’s a parking lot!!! Occasional vehicles entering at night but mostly just the sounds of frogs and other small critters.

Place it now more a worksite! Suuuuper muddy

No fundo do posto tem um estacionamento, passamos a noite e foi tranquilo, só precisa sair às 07h, caso contrário tem que pagar estacionamento.
