Very clean, well taken care of camping spot. Management very friendly and helpful! The only complaint and not really a valid complaint is the bright lights they have…. Kills the starlight mood!!! I do not recommend this place if you have a big rig, the spaces are small. They are a little expensive but if you want a secure, clean place and you are small we recommend this place.

The dude is a psycho. I parked here to do some work and walk my dog on the part of the beach that dogs are allowed on. It’s 4pm- IN THE AFTERNOON. He knocked on my door - i cracked my sliding door and asked if i could help him - he proceeded to let me know I can’t sleep here. I told him I knew that and that i wasn’t (which is true), reminded him it’s 4pm and that I saw the signs (HIS homemade signs), and that what he just did was extremely rude. He walked back into his house. Having already seen these comments, that exchange just made me pretty livid. I sort of get wanting to enforce the no camping thing - but I was parked here for 3 hours… and it’s an access point to the beach. Doesn’t even wait until its dark to be a dick.

have been there today and left ! they ask 400 , negociate for 300 but toilets and shower were dirty.

This is a fabulous place for vegetarian food! Absolutely brilliant dishes. We had veggie Ceviche, caramelized eggplant with miso and wasabi mayo and more. We've been veggie for a while now, and this is seriously good.

Not in the city center but DEFINITELY worth to go here!

There is also a large lot for semi truck overnight parking on the north side of this lot, to the side of and behind Crown Cleaners, along Reeds Ave. More noise because of idling truck engines but a larger area and more out of the way from shoppers. Some RVs are parked there among the many trucks.

We’ve been in the backcountry for two weeks and needed a shower and laundromat so we booked a night here. Stacy was awesome when we called to reserve. The property is nice but needs some attention. Our site was quite unlevel…wasn’t even close.
And our site didn’t have a picnic table so we had to sort our belongings on a tarp on the ground. The men’s bathroom had no venting…so it was a steamroom making the mirrors unusable. There was no vanity or countertop for work space and the sinks were detached from the wall. Many washing machines were out of order. We felt it was kind of pricey. We paid $57. Lots of traffic noise.
So it wasn’t completely horrible but we wouldn’t stay here again.

Very large parking lot. Very busy Walmart. Noise from train tracks, the highway, the road, the many other cars in the lot, noisy people. Pro: Park anywhere. You won't be bothered. Con: loud.

Was told by staff that as of two weeks ago, RV parking is no longer allowed. They cited issues with RV’s.

nice campground. drycamp is 320 pn and next to the playground with trampoline. perfect with children. hot showers. the pool is very cold. There is some little entertainment for children. (movienight)

Not sure if the other Walmart on the map has the right coordinates, so adding this one with the actual coordinates.
Apparently this one is totally cool to camp overnight as there are about 30-40 campers of all sizes here tonight. Not a beautiful spot for sure, but a good overnight and is relatively quiet other than silly children driving on the highway with their loud cars and trucks.

Primarily available for events at the fairgrounds this site has dedicated areas for RVs, tents, water and power.
I have stayed here twice in the off-season. Verizon signal is strong, running water in the bathroom. adjacent to frontage road by freeway with road noise. The fee structure is posted on entry and in the photos.

Very nice place to stay for a night or two. we expected to be camping but Debbie let us use one of her spare rooms. Such a generous and welcoming lady! She wouldn't let us pay for anything so we got some products from the tee-room.
She told us she got enough space for big rigs too and she seems to love whenever people show up. We loved the cheesecake!

Shell fuel station with nice rest stop with restaurant, small shop with cold drinks - and very good biltong!

Absolutely beautiful place allowed to camp and use room hot shower and toilet. Food was absolutely brilliant had a large pork chop. Thankyou Bruno and team. definitely a great place for overlanders

Highly recommend. Great value, wine and food was beautiful but dessert was nothing special.

Highly recommend, especially for children. 5 and under are free and the Honey Badger has been released back into the wild which is a sign this place is fulfilling its purpose which is so encouraging.

This is clearly the place to be! It’s extremely popular and for good reason. The facilities here are excellent. Come early to see about a spot as it can get quite crowded! There is space for big rigs.

spend the night in front of the tourism center, felt more safe, but a lot of kids drinking and hearing sound loud...

passed at night, with rain, nobody working, but seems to be a big stop for police...

Don’t look further, this is the place to be for any issue you may have with your car!

All the reviews you’ve read before are true. Stefan will go out of his way to help you with any issue you have, with all the patience in the world, and charges hardly anything for it. As he says: “I always try to help everybody.”

It looks ok at first sight but extremely noisy and busy at night until early morning during the weekend. Maybe it's better during the week. There are toilets and outdoor showers.

Lindo lugar con acceso al rio aunque por ley ya no se puede acampar en la orilla, pero hay espacio preparado con baños, acceso a electricidad, sombras, y wifi. Las personas muy amables!

Beautyfull beach RIGHT NEXT (like crazy close!) to Starship mechazilla launchpad. All good to stay, but check the road closures here, as you will get evicted if testing is planned:

Great self service laundromat with very fast WiFi at the petrol station. 15 Reals for a wash and 15 Reals for a dry. The machine supplies washing powder. This is a place to stay overnight as well.
