Like said before, doesn’t matter what the local wishes are. This is crown land. I myself am a local and use this spot regularly to camp in my truck when kayaking. My wishes are that anyone who is responsible and respectful of the land to enjoy it as they please.

Very nice super long left surf point with smaller waves than Pavones. Just be careful of the rocks that are quite sharp

Stayed 1 night between days at RMNP. Not much more than a parking lot with hook-ups, but not many options in this area. Still $15 for a spot with no hook-ups. Not quite half full on a Tuesday in May. Shower was great, hot water & great pressure. Decent TMobile service.

quiet town but nice campground. unfortunately no pool or mini golf open but the drinks at the bar were cheap! $71 for p&w for 2 nights. Had to book online since office isn’t on site. Train railway is right across the road so very loud throughout day and night.

Abasteci e perguntei se podia passar a noite, a resposta foi afirmativa. Vários caminhões param aqui por volta das 18h, então não chegue tarde. De manhã uma mulher quis me cobrar 5 soles, disse pra ela que havia abastecido na noite anterior e ela disse “Vai vai vai”, eu fui.

We really liked Anibel. He was very professional and fixed a lot what our previous mechanic fucked up. He arranged spare parts for us all the way from Tucuman. Calling everyone he knew. Very honest and very very fair price.

Nice place, directly at the beach. Clean showers and toilets. We payed 50 Cedis per night with a 4x4 and 2 people. There are good restaurants and shops nearby.

just one thing don’t withdraw or change in the official rate (at the time 1$ ~ 2200FB in the bank and 4000FB in the black market), always ask or look for Indian guys in shops or stations

Nice place to sleep on the peninsula. Off season we were alone there, a bit windy. Saw whales and pingouins at the beach.

Coin tranquille surplombant la plage. En se garant du côté de la colline de pierres ( côté gauche de la plage et des maisons en ruines), vous aurez un accès à peu près praticable à la mer. A la nuit tombée, nous avons entendu des coyotes.

Coffee shop and chocolate store. Great coffee and amazing looking chocolates. The best hot chocolate I have had in South America, amazingly flavorful and sweet. Super nice baristas. They spoke English well but allowed us to practice Spanish with them.

Great spot - kind of like Joshua Tree but better. Definitely watch out for cacti. We got attacked by gnats the whole time, so definitely bring bug spray and maybe a net. Beautiful sunset. Felt safe and secluded despite being close to the highway.

Stayed here on BLM land for a quick shut eye. Gravel road for large rigs and / trailer with a turn around here. Easy stop traveling through. Not much signal.

Nice parking lot with a couple of flat spots that open up when everybody leaves the beach in the evening. Toilets and showers are working. There is a sign that says there is no camping allowed at the beach.

We got unlucky and the cleaning crew woke us up at 5:30 with a loud blower, also the car is now caked in sand 😅

Great spot. I got stuck in the sand driving to the north end of the site. I would recommend having 4wd if traveling north along the beach past the point. It was empty when I was there but I have heard it gets crowded in the winter when the swell is good. Rugged camping.

We arrived at 6pm and the park was already closed (the gate closes at 3pm). So we slept in the parking lot in front of the rangers house. The bathrooms cost 0.25 cents, but were open at night. Our friends were with their dog, and were able to access the park with her with the emotional support document.

Chegamos às 18h e o parque já estava fechado (fecham os portões às 15h). Então dormimos no estacionamento em frente à casa dos Guardaparques. Os banheiros custam 0,25 cents, mas ficaram abertos durante a noite. Nossos amigos estavam com a cachorrinha deles, e puderam acessar o parque com ela com o documento de suporte emocional.

Wild camping near from the beach. It's safety e friendly to cars and campers alone, not in groups. It's a wonderful place in a isolated beach.

Typical Cracker Barrel. Quite a few other vans and campers. Mostly level parking lot. Building blocks most of the highway noise and was able to get a good nights sleep.

The road to the parking has been cleaned. No problem for our Iveco Daily (3.5 m high) to reach the picnic site.
The path to the valley of the giants isovergrown and not easy at all but the ranger told us that they will start the cleaning the next days.

Caravan and Motorhome Club Site near Winchester, Hampshire

I spent a quiet night here. Not much noise and is an excellent place for meals. Two other people stayed overnight

We finally got to visit Maabwe Bay on 14th May. A really lovely place. Margot and Richard are fabulous hosts: welcoming, interested, full of useful information, helpful in every way. We stayed with friends in the 2 bedroomed chalet right on the lake edge. Beautiful. Chalet clean and comfortable and well kitted out. Their campsite is also lovely, peaceful with good ablutions. Camping is US$15 per person. While we were there there were two sets of drop-in campers arriving after dark. You access the place by ringing a bell at their locked gate. As it was late and they were tired they were placed in comfortable grassy spots with outside ablutions between the buildings rather than adding an extra drive to the campsite. They were very happy. Highly recommended.

Uma praça simples e não vem cuidada. Há água em uma torneira externa e nos banheiros, sem chuveiro pois está quebrado. Faremos uma pernoite aqui, pois parece tranquilo.

Nice place. The have also shower. The Owner speak als German and is very friendly.

A good place to camp on the way to and from Tanzania. We were the only ones there but all was good and ablutions were really what one expects. The foundation here does schooling for about 100 kids.

Garage conseil auto, locals told us about this garage , serious and fast work, to change our silent blocs (they had to go abd use the press of another garage) and our back springs.
quite pricy we paid 1.500.000 FG (we had all the parts with us), but in guinea mechanics are expensive
