We are driving so its a bit back. Lot of police pulling people over. We have our copys and they said no its a copy but we kept saying no its a real one. We were joking and talking and then they started to talk about money and how we can travel without working. It got a bit annoying (always when money is the subject i think) buttttt then i used the emblames i got from my dads old uniform who is a police in holland. I have a lot with me and if the police is being annoying i give them a recarlo haha! Look the picture. And after this its always good and we are free to go😂. This police officer was so nice to make a picture with me with his present.

Immaculate as usual. Spent 6 nights here. A must if the Karoo is in your genes.
Try the kudu curry potjie at the restaurant.

We arranged the hike through the Paramo de Ocotal with Maria. We ended up being guided by her brother who was super nice and knowledgeable. We loved the hike, the paramo is really really beautiful. Highly recommended.

Not much to add, the owners are really nice and it is a good place to relax. We were charged 10K for using the laundry machine. So not sure what the actual price is.

As described, but we came from Salento so it was on left hand side, perfect place to camp next to the river, no problem taking your bikes across river, really quiet and beautiful

The first time I can remember not having overcooked eggs and the sourdough pancakes are delicious. Coffee was good and the server is very attentive. Cute little store selling a bit of everything in a small space. All the employees are friendly.

Plenty of big rig parking, cabin rentals, gas, ice, propane and other amenities. Situated on the east side of Lowman amongst several campgrounds (far more than have been reviewed on this app).

8am-8pm seven days a week. Breakfast until 1130am

Best view on river rapids. Great campsite during the week. Got swamped by busload of kids during weekend who regularly walked through our campsite. Not enough ablutions for such a crowd. We had to hastily pack up and scram.

Five nice dispersed camping sites along the Bear River. I was able to get one bar of Verizon along the road there, just enough to send a text and let people know where I landed. Hot Springs up the road are open to the public in limited time slots from 10-9.

Wifi free, next to te police station! Safety place to connect, not the best wifi, very slow but works

Really nicely located campsite with good views. Elephants & jackals were roaming the campsite at night. Took us about 1hr to get to the campsite from the gate. Ablutions okay, while we were there, there was very little water (and no hot showers).

20 pitches on the river. we saw hippos, lions, elephants, buffalo from our pitch !!!

hot shower, scullery. to be honest, we didnt come here for the campsite but for the wildlife !!!
free and slow internet at the reception but not at the campsite : just ok for whatsapp and yahoo.
we stayed 3 nights and we loved it : 5/5.

Nuit paisible, vue incroyable et accès aux toilettes avec eau courante même hors saison.

tips: l'eau qui s'écoule du gros tuyaux sous le parking et en direction du fleuve est potable. Du moins c'est un local qui m'a dit ça et effectivement elle est bonne et j'ai pas été malade.

Went on a Saturday afternoon after about 18 hours of straight rain had ended that morning.

Lots of water crossing none above like 2 feet in depth. Made it down no problems in stock Wrangler. Saw a few cars on the way in but nobody at camp site. Had the place all to ourselves. Lots of places to pull in, drive on rocky beach, and many campsites all down the beach.

Would not go down this trail without medium-high clearance any time after rain.

Bring dirt bike to ride around lots of trails nearby and along beaches.

Good yooperlite hunting found one small stone.

Roughly 1 hour drive from where trail ends on the map. Handful of campsites and pull offs on way in to point.

Trail overall moderately difficult to difficult when wet

Q100/night. Super nice place to have some rest in the pines. Pretty quiet and from a walking distance to the market. Spent 2 nights there. Our dog was off leash and no issue. Hot showers, WC and sink. WiFi works great even at the very back of the camping area. Couldn’t wish better.

Great street parking in a quiet neighborhood

cost was over $52 to stay one night. location was worth it, being blocks from downtown.

Stayed halfway the road up, only one here. High clearance is definetely needed. Nice quiet spot, only some hikers passing by. There is also a spot more up the hill and on top with some amazing views.

We came back on our way to Puerto Madryn.
Still a great spot, had no issues.

The restaurant ‘El Caminante’ was still awesome and still charging the same fee 2 months later.
Would totally recommend.

Great place. Clean, not too expensive, parking right outside so you can see your laundry. Paid $3 for two super washers and $2 for 40 minutes in the super dryer.

Very nice place in the mountains with view. Very nice people. The camping place is next to a small hotel.

Lots of overnighters here on a Friday night! No issues. Noisy from the highway. This CB opens at 8 am instead of 7 am just as an FYI

Great showers! The trick is to purchase 2 tokens ($4 for 5 minutes) and put them in one at a time. When the first token runs out, lather up and do your thing then when you’re ready to rinse, put the next token in. This place is a gem after hiking in Zion all day.

They also have backpack rentals for $12 a day if you left your backpack at home like we did :)

I camped in a ground tent in a garden next to the Pottery. The shower had hot water and the toilet was clean. The staff were friendly. It cost US$ 8 per night. The Pottery has a restaurant with good food and ex-pats are regular visitors.

Guided tours up Dedza Mountain and to the rock heritage site are on offer. The mountain walk is very scenic with forest and flowers. Don't pay too much attention to the guide's information about the rock paintings. A quick check on the internet gives more reliable information.

We stayed for one night and had to pay 35k. Do not come here at weekends it is packed full at the beach from 7am to 5pm (for sunset your almost alone). Big parking space for every size.

Nice spot with only two other campers. Maybe not reachable with lowriders but Rest should be fine. We even had a fire place.
