Pitch directly at the river Euphra! Very quiet area, although the village is within walking distance. We met Mogammed (called Jo) here. He showed us his village (Babylon). He knows every corner of his village and has a lot of background knowledge. Jo speaks very good English and is not just a local guide. He is also helpful with all other things and extremely friendly. Un camping muy bonito. Las instalaciones son limpias y tienes agua caliente, electricidad (solar), acceso al río y la posibilidad de usar el huerto y hacer fogata.
Lo más bonito fueron sus anfitriones, Helen y Marco. Nos acogieron muy bien y nos dieron muy buenos consejos para trips en la región. Marco le hecho una mirada al motor de nuestra Kombi.

Perfect picknickplace next to the river. Playground, barbecues and cold shower. Very nice place to overnight, quiet and dark.

A park in Birdsboro stretches the length of a big creek, there’s a large parking lot upstream of the park, by the entrance to a trail network that stretches miles. The “Old 82” trails, lead back to what was once an active quarry, with rock climbing walls, and lots of mountain biking trails. The parking lot is quiet at night with just the sound of the water, but gets busy in the morning with trail visitors and fishers. A town police officer came by shortly after I set up camp, at around 11 pm. I told him I was campin the night, and he was super chill, didn’t give me any trouble, we chatted and he left for the night. 10/10 spot. There a couple pizza places in town, a water refill station by the Fire Dept. and there’s a laundromat right next to the library. Happy Trails!!

We weren't impressed, it's an absolute "tourist trap". The waiters were super overwhelmed, it's always completely full of tourist groups. The prices of the dishes are much higher than in almost all other restaurants in the city, but the quality is no better. Although the meat was very tasty. We didn't like the atmosphere, super hectic with people constantly coming and going and running around everywhere to take photos.

This is THE spot. Amazing cliffs on either side, stunning wall of red in front. Off of UT89, the road is sometimes called Pariah Movie Rd. Easy site to get to; road is fine even for non 4-wheel drive. However, if wet this red clay is very slippery, probably not advisable to travel on it if wet. At the intersection of 584/585, go left. There is a little cleared spot above a wash. This road is a dead end, so no cars came down here. Best of all, there is a pit toilet 300 meters or so away. You can get a bar or so of cell service if you climb the rocks on the other side of the road. Dispersed camping, so no permits needed on BLM land.

Great campground. The road up is a little unnerving but doable. Bathrooms were clean and park kept up.

Enjoyed our stay here. very friendly and welcoming people. Hot outdoor showers and decent ablutions. nice scullery. Lots of thoughtful touches such as extra hand towels in the bathroom, and washing up things in the scullery. Only a few camping spots but we were the only campers and they were nice

Very good place to stay one night.
One single room with doble bed cost 40 soles. Possibility to park your car in a parqueadero at the corner for 10 soles more.
The family who runs the hostal is really nice. Everything is simple but far enough for us.
They have fan but no AC.

Large gravel parking lot off a bit of a main strip. Pulled the truck and trailer around to the hidden half of the lot and have had no issues. Quiet spot. Someone else was here as well.
Nice path for walking the dog along the river and a grassed field as well behind the lot.

rV park on Mississippi River that is really quite ugly and the spots are really tight, but after dark the view and vibe are really cool! Wish we had time to do the bike trail that leaves right from the park here.

if you want to sleep at night dont park here. yes the view is stunning but it was worth nothing to us when the music so loud and right beside our van that we couldnt move the car to go somewhere else...

UPDATE: they unlock the gate at 6am. Has beautiful walk along the coast, nice dog park, and softball during the season.

Stayed for one night in our truck and fifth wheel down at far end of parking lot with some semi truck drivers. No one bothered us. It was very noisy though with street traffic.

Large scenic spot short downhill drive on a rocky logging road. Stayed Friday night and there were huge logging trucks driving around the area until midnight and started back up again at 5 am. Lots of garbage strewn about as well. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this place due to the noise of the trucks.

The gate is still at the entrance of the finca and not the old station (google shows that)
