Dormimos bien acá, frente a la entrada del parque de las naciones. un poco ruidoso y algunos autos vinieron de noche con música y pistear en la avenida pero es zafa pese al ruido. no hay baños ni otras comodidades solo estacionamiento.

Good spot, accessible with 2wd vehicles. We managed to find relatively flat spot. Located at less than 30 min of the Grand Canyon Visitor Center (south rim).

Great place to stay with lots of space and beautiful. Very few people the first weekend of May. Updated pictures show the layout and the prices, which have gone up. Water/electric is $35. No hook ups is $28.
Maintenance guy says it’s starts getting busy the second weekend of May.

Large parking lot on the left heading toward Lands End. Motor homes not allowed, additionally no vehicles over 20 feet. You can park overnight, the sign says no camping, we stayed 2 nights in our converted transit van with no issues. Services are limited until the first weekend in May.

We were deeply disappointed from this camping. 355.- pp for a sandy spot under trees and a disappointing view on a liveless half dry river arm is far too expensive. The pool is a large bathtub. The whole lodge/camp gave us a heartless impression. The owners and staff were burnt out. Just doing their job. After a stay in the Mobola Island Camp this was a very big disappointment.

Really Nice spot. We where there on a thursday night, it was a warm Day, the beggining of the spring season. Lots of people hanging out in the park until late (still a few guys chatting near the parking lot between 11PM and midnight). Also a few tents (homeless people) in the park, but we still felt safe. We had a great night.
The park is Really beautiful at sunset, it’s Really worth it. Spigot available to fill bottles (not RV tank), and toilets open from May to October.

Recomendo.

Thony mechanical workshop, here the guys are beasts, they make adaptations in old cars, pickup trucks and disel vehicles, I came to do maintenance on my motorhome and as it was not ready I spent 1 night with the motorhome at the door of the workshop. I recommend it. Saying it was Léo's recommendation from the channel, I'm not from here, there's a discount. Thony is very nice, friendly and polite, as he is also a traveler and is building a camper, he is very helpful in helping. I recommend

Brand new dump is now on the left as you enter the campground. It is a nice 4 laner. It was not yet open because of cold nights in the mountains still in early May, so best to call early in the season to make sure it is open.

Enter Russia // Exit Georgia

The border crossing took over 5 hours in total. Everybody was very friendly, but you’ll need a lot of patience for this one :p First, we had a switch of shifts, which left us waiting for 45 min, afterwards it was really hard to get our documentation stamped. Make sure you immediately stand at the correct booth! Waited over an hour, to be told at our turn: no english paper.

Not nessecaly extremely steep in my opinion but mainly a long stretch. Make sure you lose a lot of engine brake and when you brake, brake firmly and let the brake go so they cool a bit. Never continue to be on the pedal the whole way, that will overcoock the brakes without needing to!

Very steep decline! 10.20792, -84.30793

Newly rebuilt campground that looks fantastic. Well designed for easier back-in, and a few pull throughs.

Water spigots available but no hose bibs that I saw.

Will handle larger rigs in some sites. Verizon and T-Mobile are weak.

The room was basic but clean and spacious.
Hot showers 24 hours a day. Kitchen and utensils to use as you like.
we paid $7000 ARS, $8 USD per person per night.

Crossed BG-TR. exiting BG took 10 mins.
Entering TR took 3hours.
After crossing we were sent to D3 building to buy insurance and to get checked. ( We already had green card covering TR and still had to get insurance ) there’s a line up going into the D3 building which is painfully slow. Once inside there where having everyone remove all the items from their vehicles to get check for something or other. All foreign plates vehicles tho. With our camper I asked surely they didn’t want us to remove everything. I just asked what they were looking for and they said alcohol. I showed them the half bottle in the fridge and they checked cupboards and stuff and sent us on our way. Didn’t check dog details but wanted them out of the vehicle.

Just a regular Cracker Barrel, was a great spot and was somewhat quiet. We enjoy a little noise while sleeping but showed up once they closed up for the night and were out by 8am the following morning. There were a couple of other vans there each night. We stayed two nights in a row

Rolled in around 7pm Friday evening, parked, explored down the trail (great secluded restroom), down to the river, then had an early night. Shared the lot with three other vehicles/vans. Moderate traffic all night. Wasn't bothered by anyone. Foggy morning in the canyon. Can recommend. Keep an eye out for mountain lions.

Here is a totally wild spot next to the river (not crystal clear), by an old wooden bridge. We found it asking locals for a place by the river and they told us to come here. Some farmers even help us reaching the spot. We stood just before the bridge, it looked like nobody had passed in a few weeks. There is a bigger spot about 200mts before the bridge. Very calm, a few locals hanging around I gess, LOT of footprints. Walked to the other side of the bridge 1km and saw Aardvark, toucans, wild pigs and more. You can fish at the river

This section was in decent shape when I passed through. The bridge has been replaced so no river crossing necessary. There is one hill which is a bit rocky and slippery, going down it (S -> N) was ok on my moto. If you’re going up it, it may be a bit more difficult depending on the vehicle. I saw a low clearance car spinning its wheels but it made it.

This is a really nice spot to stay. Rodrigo for whom the Casa is named is wonderful. I came here twice a few months apart, and he remembered me and our conversations, and was so helpful both times. The hotel is nice, cheap ($20 single room), has a kitchen, and has excellent covered Moto parking. Other rigs can fit inside too as long as they are not too tall.

Gina’s restaurant next door is great for breakfast, the Mirador restaurant up the street has excellent grilled meats. There is also a wonderful waterfall hike you can do just down the block from the hotel. If you go at the right times of day you’ll see the Cock of the Rock birds. Rodrigo also arranged for me to be able to visit a hummingbird garden (Las Brisas) about 6 min driving away, which was lovely and has some short trails too. This area is extremely famous for its whitewater rafting and I’m sure Rodrigo can set that up if you ask.
