As described. About 8 other over nighters.. not the flattest parking lot but it works. Showed up after close and left before open. No issues.

Decent spot close to everything. Highway noise was definitely a downside.

Peaceful campground and could see the river from my site #13. Only one other camper all evening. Lots of mosquitoes, so don't make my mistake and leave your door open for more than a second. Also the road there was very washboard in parts so takes longer than expected. Also hiked down to the falls from campground, nice but nothing spectacular. Given how long the road in took and how far from the main parts of the park this is I wouldn't stay again. There were a lot of USFS campgrounds leaving here on US20 North I would try next time.

What a gem. A free, beautiful, dry campground. Better than some places we paid way too much money for.

This was a great find. Full service dump station is free (donations accepted). An added bonus is the historic Teapot Dome gas station across the street.

Good and empty on a Friday in June. Large open space, 1/4 mile from the county road with two fire pits. There might be more sites in the national forest 2 miles in but that gate is closed seasonally through 6/14.

Many mosquitos, but they are large and won't get through any netting. Also very muddy in case of rain. Some OHV activity. There is some noise from the road but it's not too bad.

This is a good backup plan for when the campsites south towards Frisco are full.

No cell service on Verizon.

Crossed from Peru to Ecuador. Everything is done in the same building, open 24h. They didn’t look inside the motorhome, everything was easy and quick done. They gave us 90 days to stay in the country.

Got the last spot at around 2 pm on a Friday. The left loop looks nicer than the right. Only slightly buggy. No ATT cell. FCFS so perfect spot when you're a last minute planner like me to visit Yellowstone.

As described! Stayed here for one night. Drove a bit further down to the sportarena‘s parking where it was even more quiet due to more distance to the highway. Calm and safe.

Organised RV overnight parking managed by guest services in Southcenter Mall, in the parking lot outside CIBC.
Must register online in advance, then check in at guest services to get your parking pass. First come first serve, despite having to register in advance. Only about 8 spots or so but they said it rarely fills up except during Stampede.
2 nights max stay consecutive/per week.
Relatively easy to access, highways all the way in/out. Easy public transport to the city centre a few minutes walk away.
4 metre height restriction on the way in to the main car park.

Stayed here after the campgrounds were full. Awesome space. Sometimes folks don’t understand Space and pull in right next to you while in cars and leave their headlights on which is annoying ( incase the person reading this can’t comprehend that. ) other then that it’s small town road always a car on it every 15 minutes. Quiet in a town where there are no trees and no dispersed camping.

we arrived in our Motorhome and were told the roads inside the park are thick heavy sand, not suitable for us

as alternative we were offered to stay at the picnic side, which was perfect for us

did a late afternoon gamedrive, very interesting

Drove about 1 mile up the dirt road and found a graded part of the wash right next to the road. Very difficult to turn around, wouldn’t bring anything bigger than a van. Very quiet night.

Beautiful location with a view of the river which runs along the border with the United States. No toilets or gazebo as indicated in the previous comment. Clean and practical place: picnic tables protected from the rain and Adirondak chairs.
PS: watch out for the caterpillars!

They asking right now for 100,- R per Person. Even if you don't need water or electricity. On the way there low branches and 2 cables. If you are under 3,75m it's doable. We stayed just where the free Camping is marked in iOverlander.
