There are some great sites back here, especially if you go past the “narrow road” sign. I can’t remember which site it was, but right when you get to the big meadow and turn down the road to the right there is an amazing spot with views of the mountains. We did see a bear though so be vigilant, it ran off as soon as I hollered at it. Stream runs right by this site also.

Amazing view, but AWD required with good clearance. After 40 minutes of driving on the service road you will see an amazing view with a fire spot.

Lovely campsite with own braai, electricity. Beautiful setting. Perfect ablution. Unfortunately stayed only 1 night but would advise a minimum of 2. Paid R330 for 2 people.

You can use the parking next to the pub as a camping spot for the night. Best to call in advance.

It is 10min from the nearest busstop and then 30 minutes from Cambridge

BC rec site with concrete boat launch. About 16km on gravel logging road to get in.

New "no camping ordinance" in place. Police kicked everyone out at 230am due to locals complaints about campers. Police make their rounds through the lots every night.

Motorhome parking is not allowed, much less camping. Traffic personnel forced us to leave.

this place is awesome, lots of pull offs along the road but still lots of spaces to spend the night. tight view too. the road up is not for the faint of heart, but our 170 sprinter made it up just fine.

Our first attempt to sleep three days ago was banned by a rude employee. After filling up, I asked another employee who helped me again, authorizing the overnight stay. To reinforce this, he instructed me to ask the manager who also authorized it.

Small BLM campground on the North Platte river. Level sites with fire pit and picnic shelter with tables. Spots open on a Saturday. Mostly fly fishers camped here.

C’est une magnifique place assez grande pour plusieurs personnes, VR gros ou petit et auto, mais il t avait beaucoup de monde. Arrivés à 16:30 nous étions les premiers et ça s’est rempli… en masse

Big gravel lot at an OHV trail head. The road up is wide, steep and rough with one pretty sharp cutback. No problem with our F250 pulling a 17’ travel trailer. We stayed for one night.

Nice and quiet at night. Somewhat walking distance to downtown area. Had no problem leaving my truck here for several hours during the day and slept soundly for a night

The trailhead has been made into a more “formal” parking lot with a “No Overnight Parking” notice, however if you have a high clearance vehicle you can drive up the road and there are a few spots to discreetly and respectfully park for the night.

very quiet here parked by the Riverside. A beautiful spot and the historic downtown is perfect for a stroll, restaurants, movie theater or the Vermont History Museum. A state trooper drove past us one we were in bed and just kept rolling.

They closed and reopened sometime in 2024. Now they have a legit guy with legit logos on vehicle and receipts for 300pesos which includes park admission and 2-nights camping in the park. Receipt stated its used for trash removal, waste removal etc…. Very clean and nice place. Restrooms are at every camp but not so nice. We don’t need them and camp on the lake for solar anyway.
