In the night there is a security guy at the gate. There are a lot of homeless people on the ground camping in tents though. So on the first look, it felt creepy. But they are allowed to stay there and use the infrastructure (toilet, shower, electricity). They didn’t bother us, not at all. We stayed one night with several other campers. We felt safe, no intents of a break-in or something like what was mentioned in the previous comments.

The most accessible spilgot is on the left of bathrooms right In front on the group picnic tables

Usual Walmart parking lot we were parked at the foremost part of the parking in diagonal of the Walmart

this is a decent spot I guess. . . I have stayed here a bunch.

Yes i understand, parking next to someone else can feel safe.... but it doesnt make me feel comfortable when i wake up and go outside to pee and could very well just pee on your tent because its SO CLOSE.

Also ... had a farmer come up and ask us if we knew what happened to 3 of his cows that are "down" out here in a field. . . that was a month ago. . . i come back a month later and you can still just see the Three d3ad cows rotting off in the distance. . .

lots of flys.... could be from that ? or could just be the area.

Wouldnt drive out her in the rain ... these fields get pretty dang muddy.

This spot is fine for one night but no longer. Quiet while night and in the morning.

Very nice camp area. Came in with a 42' 5th wheel. Room for 4-5 friends.

As described! Lovely bathrooms and excellent WiFi! We paid U$20pppn camping. The campsites are first come first served. Taxi ride to the falls is U$5 one way.

Pauline is accepting travellers into her home. Her and her sister have a wonderful place right along the highway to offer food and lodging. I was cycle touring in the area and this is perfect for cyclists. Also perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable, very convenient spot to stay. An authentic Zambian experience with kind hosts.
Two large bedrooms, a dbl and a single. I was fed a great traditional supper and breakfast. A huge yard in which tents can be set up. Beautiful relaxing place for the night or several whether you’re passing through or staying for a while.
(No wifi but good signal, possibly will have wifi in future)

I just slept here overnight, and had no problems. Lots of flat spots but no shady ones. Far enough from the trucks and highway that it was actually pretty quiet. Nice water fountain with a bottle filler. Also a jug filler in the bathroom although I didn't check if it works or not .

Just as the previous visitor described. Could probably have two cars one behind another in the spot, beautiful view and very quiet. I was there most of the day Saturday and overnight into Sunday and probably only had 10 cars passed by. No one bothered me. 1-2 bars with t mobile.

Nice spot, felt safe and quiet. Arrived around 11:30 pm and went to check into guest services. They were super nice and just wrote my name and license plate number down in a book. There is 5G roaming signal on T-Mobile and a clear view of the sky for Starlink.

Arrived here at noon on a Saturday and it was filling up fast. We got space #15 - be aware this spot is next to a marshy area and the mosquitoes are VERY bad - beautiful campground surrounded by snowy mountains and scenic alpine lakes.

Beautiful place even to stay for some nights. Locals are coming and going. It's close to a roman ancient graveyard so some gold diggers may come late night to do their job here. Very sad for that. Anyway it's a safe and calm place

Family owned, 40 acre woodsy RV park and campground. We pride ourselves with providing a clean, safe place to enjoy the great outdoors. Only 45 minutes from Birmingham and 90 minutes from Atlanta. Located 4 miles south of I-20 between Talladega and Lincoln with many restaurants, convenient stores, fuel and propane nearby. Close proximity to the Talladega Super Speedway, Talladega Short Track Raceway, Talladega Gran Prix Raceway, CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park, Honda Manufacturing, Alabama Institute for the Deaf & Blind, and Talladega College. A public boat launch with access to the Coosa River is only 3 miles from the park. We have 30 & 50 amp RV sites with full hookups and a separate area with shaded, level tent sites.

Great empty gravel lot. Lots of wildlife noise overnight in the wetlands. Watch out for flooding on the way out.

Could fit 2 small rigs where it's level. Creek is lovely. Road noise from the main road which is less than 100m away. Not great for solar with all the trees, I doubt for starlink either. Rock fire pit. Lots of flies, but not biting.

Great little spot to watch a sunset. Very quiet and peacefull. Had a great nights sleep listening to the waves

Absolutely nothing here today at all. Completely empty road.

Still 3$ for unlimited hot shower.
When we were there pool & its showers were closed due to maintenance, but they had another shower for us.
Water was boiling hot and you couldn't adjust the temperature.

We stayed ar this Camp. In the Chipinda Gate the Ranger said, it is closed, as it needs to be completly renovated. In Rund-Save Gate the Ranger let us camp. Pit toilet is broken. It is definitely far in the wilderness, bigger cars will get a lot of bush tattoos. It has a nice but limited view over a part of the Save (was dry when we stayed here).
Costs 27,5 Dollar ppn + conservation fee 20 Dollar ppn + 5 Dollar / vehicle.

Nice place by river. Omg the mosquitos! But they are expected. Part of the journey.

Amazing spot. Would stay here again. Room for a few vehicles or separate parties on this spur road & dry meadow. (Soil for tents). Stone fire rings. Shallow access for suntanning chairs by the creek. Meandering / converging creek sounds are lovely. Yellow and purple wildflowers. Firewood just a short walk down the road. Beautiful.

It was so nice, we stopped even though we had only driven a short distance today. Stunning!

We stayed here quiete and safe. There were also some other travelers. In the morning some birds. Nice place. Recommend to stay.

Quick overnight. Looks like 3 spots for campers with fire rings plus a put-in right by the river. Plus several tent sites with fire rings. Small river 'cove' looks like you could get in if the water was warm enough.

Pit toilet

This is a really nice free BLM campground, right on the river. There are six or so sites with picnic tables and fire rings, and a clean pit toilet.
the grass around the sites was mowed and everything was clean. there are also two really nice walk in tents sights with tables, benches and fire rings past the parking lot. we camped on a Saturday and had the place to ourselves. The road in is rough gravel but doable in any vehicle.
