I stayed here one night and it's nice and quiet. It's far enough from the highway that you can still hear the traffic but it's not bad, like a kind of white noise.

Clean facility with vending machines with usual not-healthy snacks, including one with ice cream treats. Never have seen one of those before. Very large picnicking areas with numerous tables. Playground for kids. Lots of massive trees that make the entire area nicely shady.

Everything as described already. Nice and quiet place. Train sounds - but that's music not disturbing ;-)

Just arrived at 8pm, nobody here. As someone else mentioned, there’s some sort of cattle guard on the highway right by the spot, so ever car that goes over makes an unfortunately loud sound. But traffic is slowing down and I’m hoping for a quiet night. The sound of the ocean crashing on the cliffs and the breeze coming through my van is divine.

Spent $45 at dinner and got the OK to top off my 40 gal fresh water tank :)

There’s a coffee shop and a bakery inside with very affordable prices

Just past the restrooms there is a large sign advising no overnight camping. We did not stay. Looks like a nice place to park during the day.

State Highway Rest Area just off highway. Clean restroom. Picnic area. Designated dog area. Maximum rest time is ten hours. Information area open for access to pick up maps and things to do in same building as restrooms.

Short road leading south off of the Dempster Hwy to a gravel and culvert staging area. Far enough from road to barely see a small portion and not to get dusted. Open enough for the breeze to keep mosquitos away (mostly). Nice level spots and room for a couple big rigs. Small creek running by.

Tea Shop and Camping site in Dzuleke next to road side. Place is in Dzuleke, after the petrol pump. Goko, a local friendly lady runs the place, its a tea shop, great views and a cozy place. She is helpful and allows to pitch tent or car camp nearby. Great place to stop and unwind. Toilet and flowing water avaliable. Great place for simple dal chawal and tea. An ideal location as a base camp for Dzuleke. Cell network is avaliable some distance away.

Stayed one night in a stealth van. Pretty sure another camper was here too. Arrived at 11PM, left at 9AM. Really good sleep, no one came.
In the morning, realized that most cars parked here had a yellow paper on their dashboard, probably something to prove they are clients. We had no issue though.

Was able to dump tanks, there's a rinse hose at the dump. Also filled water at the truck pumps... could not connect my own hose, there are green hoses with sprayers on them here.

After lots of Chorba and Ash and spaghetti soup on the way to Bishkek we found this Chines Restaurant. The price is between 200 to 500 some per portion. But one portion with 2 portion rice is enough for 2 person. We got vegis and that was delicious as Chinese food is.

This place still looks deserted and closed.

beautiful place, with all the infrastructure. They have a waterfall right next to the camping site and offer clay baths and walks in nature.
they charge 50 per person for the day, but have all the things you need, there's even a beach area on the river side

I drove the road M17 from Kapan to the Aras river. There is a new road avoiding the critical part of M17 that crosses the border to Azerbaidschan right out of Kapan. There were military posts, but none that controlled the traffic on the road.
But when we reached the Aras river, we found a checkpoint presumable by the border police. They asked for passports and a border permit. We had no such permit, so we drove back. This was only 13 km out of Meghri. So we had no issue with the border to Azerbaidschan, but the one to Iran.
The road is good, several passes, low traffic, so it was worth the effort anyways

They don’t take visa, but could exchange USD or EURO, which we did. Rates are good.

It's not a hotel but a small village accessed by a gate along the main road. The village chief gave us the opportunity to stop for the night safely by parking our truck in the main courtyard. We left 5000 cfa and at the same price it offers air-conditioned rooms with a small bathroom which are the homes of the locals. Ideal for spending a night. Many people come to browse but they are friendly and kind.

As described, but just clarifying the price: it's 15 USD pppn for the lodge and 15 USD bed levy (sometimes called 'camp fee') for African Parks pppn. If you've already paid the bed levy at the entrance gate, make sure to bring a receipt (otherwise, the accommodation has to charge you for this again). The tap water is bore water and is potable. You can pay by card.

Drive in late in town on the way from Aguadas. Checked out other spots in town, too busy and too many people around. Instead pulled on here, it was overgrown with tall grass. I had no choice. I could have parked in soccer field across but a local suggested it was a better option as it was lighted. Heeded to his suggestion.
Locals quiet friendly. All said it was safe & secure. Very quiet at night.

Passamos 4 dias tranquilos, lugar é lindo, local sem facilidades.

quiet gravel parking lot at an dead end road with a view point. the whole lot is uneven but we managed to find a spot with just 2 degrees uneven.

this is the last free parking spot for the sight st. michael mount. its free for 2 hours.

last free street parking. 15 minutes walk to the damous beach and theater. space for 4-5 cars.

We spent 5 nights at Teresa‘s place. She‘s very nice and welcoming. The bathroom was very clean at all times.

Five other Class B's here tonight as it is high season here in Prince Edward Island. Good place to park with no overnight prohibition signs. You are right downtown near the cruise port. The only negative is that there is an aggregates site beside the water and if they are in operation, there may be early morning noise. Best place for early morning (7 am) coffee, washrooms and breakfast if needed, is the Receiver Coffee - Brass Shop, about a block away.

There is no hostel anymore near this place. It was used as camp of the road maintenance team for several month. The three bathrooms are still well maintained and clean.
We took a bath, but did not stay overnight. It started raining and we wanted to finish the pass downwards.
