At some big crosses in Bissau they have kind of a roundabount and a street wich goes straight. Never drive straight through. It’s only for president and military. We didn’t know. At the next cross the police took our car documents and didn’t give it back until we paid a "fine".

Since there has been little rain the last 3 years only 3 swimming pools are left (bit greenish now). Place is still very nice. Price is now n$ 205 pppn.

Nice camping, friendly owner, hot shower, restaurant and open all year. There are also camp places in front of the river, grassy area. Price was in low season 50TL for 2 person and car. Nice and clean facilities, camping is almost new.

I don't get the previous reviews at all. This place is dreadful. They make you wear an armband. The local beach is swarming with tourists. It's like Butlins with tents. Music blaring all night from people who think the only way to enjoy camping is to keep everyone else awake with crap music. My recommendation is avoid this place, it's overpriced, over populated, noisy and has no views of the natural beauty surrounding it.

Water is available but if you are in an RV you’ll need at least 50ft hose, in the picture the truck is obviously parked on the sidewalk as the spigot is in the middle of the central area we parked in the ax state parking spot as the other 2,parking spots are handicapped

Nice guys, specialise in big trail KTM / BMW and Harley but the workshop is very well equipped, they helped me with something very small, while I was there I saw them help another bike traveler. were willing to order in Hidenaus from Santiago. recommended.

Lovely Hostal, the owner Is a nice lady who makes sure everyone is welcome and informed about local info. When I arrived there was one other Moto, after two days we were 5. with a little bit of Moto Tetris we could park all the bikes inside. Prices from 7k cop up to about 14k depending if you want dorm or private or 3 bed etc. best option in Antofagasta.

Entrance is 3kd, the view is not really the best. If you have time, go up... but nothing unforgettable ;-)

Paid 800 birr. Staid 2 nights in a room at the back. Saturday night until 3 am music. Friendly staff but don’t speak English. Nice terrace at the street side. Poor internet but that’s Ethiopia. Car had to be parked 200 m away in another hotel’s courtyard.

Don't visit this place at night friends were abducted at gun point. Their car was stolen and they were dropped off in a mango plantation. Should be ok in the day, but don't stop in at sunset and later.

300 per person per night super friendly family hot water good WiFi common room with kitchen shower toilet sink for laundry.
Also acces to a river and few fire pit for barbecue. Close to the town but quiet and near to food shop . Super place

They asked for my passport and inspected the inside of the RV but were friendly. They also asked where we came from and where we were headed. Easy peasy.

Just pay the 20 pesos and be on your way. Don’t forget your receipt.

Wild desert, you need a 4wd, is quiet easy to get in, nobody around. Windy at the afternoon. Relax at night.

Had a safe and quiet night behind McDonald’s, it is actually behind the MAX store, there is a grass field where you can park. 24h guards at McDonald’s keep an eye out for you.. felt very safe

Potable water, you can fill your water tanks. Clean and neweish ablutions. Peaceful, though you can hear the road. A bit tricky to find, maps.me showed location wrong. Small ”campsite” sign at the end of the road. Still 100P/pp.

Nice place, nice people but Couldn’t get WiFi

quiet nf campground, no hookups, there are water spigots and bathhouse.

Beautiful campground with 31 primitive sites around the perimeter all with water close by, free from November to March with a pink toilet and no other services water is only available along with flash restrooms during the peak season. Buffalo national river wrapping around half of the campground and a big open field in the middle great place for canoeing and quiet!

Nice, quiet campground. Road is rough but we managed in a high roof transit. Water pressure is low in winter so we had trouble filling the whole tank. Pit toilets are clean.
