Free dump station with water! Really nice and just next to the highway.

Indeed a very nice place - not so easy to find and way out of town. But a green oasis with lots of citrus trees (oranges, mandarinas, lemons) from which you can pick and make your own fresh juice (press is on site). Dry camping is Mex 270 or US$15. Unfortunately the pool was empty when we stayed (3 nights) and there is only 1 toilet/shower for the whole place (expect some waiting) There is no water faucet on the side of dry camping. Fabby the owner is very nice and the whole place is clean and well kept.

New machines, clean place, friendly and helful staff

came to get my aluminum roof rack repaired as it was cracking from the rough roads. one of the bigger shops was good at aluminum soldering and got the job done for about $5usd. funny guys, loved the rig and took tons of selfies.

worth to mention it is available only during the bank opening hours which is mo-fr 9-2 so most of the time useless. there is another scotiabank 4 blocks east and the story is identical.

We arrived here late on the evening before going to DIJ inspection. It is only Hotel/Street parking. The hotel staff are very welcoming and there’s A/C and fast WIFI so you can lounge there as you please, they didn’t mind. Many people here using WiFi for laptops. There is a cafe open 24 hr so it’s great when you need to get up early for DIJ inspection and grab a coffee. Also Hotel and Casino security all night. Can be a small bit noisy but we slept well

This is an emergency water stop. I was told by the police not to drink the water from the local rivers because it's contaminated. I decided not to even attempt it with my water filter. So I had no water on this long stretch of nothing until I found this construction site.

We are arriving at night and I ask to park my motorhome for the night.
They say ok after reflexion but they ask me my ID, I give a copy and they return it in the morning when I get up.
The gas station close at 10.00PM and open at 06.00AM with loud music, you are in Mexico!
The parking is not level.
The price of the gasoline is correct.
The night was quiet for a Pemex.

Great place! They have different bins for different glass colors. They don't take small propane tanks but another place in town does.
Open 8 am to 4 pm during the week.

Here you can recycle things from paper to small propane tanks.

Dirtroad Loutra to Kalogria. Good road but because of a lot of water and big holes only for 4x4 with high clearance. Beautifull ride through forest en marshes. Big fun.

I have been staying here for a while in one of the tents and they are very comfortable. Light, power and a mosquitonet included. The pool is a very welcome place to hang out after a day of adventouring. The owners are really chilled and always keep on working to making the place even nicer. There are hammocs to chill in and read on your kindle and there are many activities to be booked like parapenting, motortours (if you have a licence), horseback tours or rent a mountainbike. Thank you Tim and Jorge! It was unforgettable!

Beach side camping, close to the road, road noise if you are a lite sleeper.

They do all car glass, windshields and all other windows. Friendly, and installed for free after another body shop said it was a mm too big and they had to silicon the window on instead of using the OEM rubber.

Customs stamp CDP when going to or coming from Youknounnoun

Customs are in front of the gendarmerie. The you guy wanted money for stamping my CDP, and i told him ok but I need an official receipt with the amount and your name. After some serious discussion he let go. We camped some kms out of town in this spot.
