Great place to stay overnight. located next to walmart. much quieter since not many know home Depot allows you to stay in the back of the lot. Asked inside and they said it was fine.

Great Posada almost one street from the ruins. Good wifi, good breakfast, secure parking in the back, great rooms and beds. We really enjoyed staying here. 30dollars for a double room with private bathroom and breakfast included.

Classic Walmart when you can spend 1 night. Close to the highway, a good stop !

The prices have changed dramatically and I think it's simply too expensive now. 1,000 for the dormitory and 280 for camping. This is absolutely ridiculous for the dormitory. You can find a private room for that price.

No way. Yes, the men’s shower is closed but lady says no prob using the women’s which was clean and really hot water and not so old. Bathrooms mega clean, men’s no seats, women’s with seats. Obviously on a weekend avoid at all costs but on a Monday, perfect, like 3 other people here in high season.

Gasolinera con una pequeña tienda con sanitarios. Algo ruidoso por estar sobre la carretera principal. Abierto hasta las 10pm y luego guarda de seguridad armado toda la noche. Gratis no encontramos ningún otro lugar gratis por la zona.

Gas Station with a small store with bathroom inside. A bit noisy because it's st thr main street. Open until 10pm, then a security guard all night. Free, we couldn't find other place for free around.

Delicious taco stand on the west side of the road. 4 tacos and a coke for 70 pesos. This marker is about 1/4 north of the stand. Has a big red sign. If you are traveling north, you will have to pass it and make a u turn.

Nice spot to spend the night, sheltered from wind. The spot just up the road had superior views but is more exposed. Road to get there was quite rough.

Cost of back country permit is $10 per night and can be obtained at visitors center. It’s off an extremely long and pretty rough dirt road- we decided to turn around just past the first site on the road (Candelilla) when we realized how long a drive we were in for and it was getting dark out. Never made it to the site.

We were charged for camping in our van overnight between cabañas for 105pesos por persona. Child was free. The showers was hot and clean! Staff was very friendly. Asked and got electricity connected. Wifi was fast, even youtube videos was working in restaurant/reception area and it costed nothing extra. Restaurant was reasonably priced and good food, that i think is the best option in town. There's also swimming pool and restaurant. For boat we were asked 1600pesos. After i said that my friends paid 900, they easy dropped price. to that amount. Keep in mind that there's no ATM (Nearest one in Palenque). And no gas stations.Though People sell gasoline in cans on the streets.

Jimmy specializes in brakes suspension and transmission and is a very friendly and competent mechanic that can help with most anything. He had our transmission out to replace seals and had us back on the road in a just a few hours. Very fair prices

Still the same price as mentioned before :-) Everything fine and good safe parking for the car. Didnt see other hostels in town but this place is recommended! Very nice hosts! They have two cats - do dont know if you can bring a dog f.e
