Miss Daisy | Coming from North, they charged us 200 Pula for not putting our seat belt. Also asked if we have any meat and what we can give them from home, few cigarettes solved the problem |

llheim.ink | Turn off the highway here and follow the compacted gravel and dirt road around to the right. It goes 1.5 miles (2.5 km) into a valley of towering rock formations with multiple spots where you can pull off into before the road turns to sand. We saw a Bedouin camp nearby, but no one stopped by our camp, and it's obviously a place locals come to drive in the sand dunes. This is a place you could easily spend days exploring and photographing, and has room for multiples big rigs. We could even get so-so data on our phones. |

Khayaonwheels | The bad stretch of road starts here with mud and a shallow river crossing, we had to go through the field a bit to avoid the deep mud. Coming from the north-east going south-west, turn left after you crossed the river, the road showing straight will take you nowhere and we got badly stuck and needed help to get out from some kind locals, don’t trust the navigation and ask more otherwise a beautiful road to drive until this point, from here on there seems to be no more real road and only smaller tracks to follow and crossing many dry or slow running shallow rivers, difficult at times with 4x4 needed quite often but it is after heavy rains last week. |
River crossing | -3.89708, 34.74772 | |
Khayaonwheels | Plenty of open space, some villagers around working the field or herding cattle but this is out of sight and quiet. Beautiful sun set and abundant bird life and maybe 100m further is a shallow river to cool off. No people came but you can hear life in the distance. Enjoy! |

manque | Nice petrol station. We sleep here two nights, got average toilets and not bussy area during the night so was easy to sleep. There is a burguer king also in the same parking lot. Wifi for sushilight store is “[Passwords are not allowed]” doesn’t work really good but enough for wasap and do basic stuff. |

sebalicuime | Don Juvenal and her wife Mabel have a nice camping plot. Large green area with a beautiful view of the island. 100% safe place to stay. They were very friendly and lovely; at night Don Juvenal played the accordion and his nephew sang songs to us. They welcomed us as their family. It is a good place to stay with tent during the night and then get to know the island of Lemuy.

on_the_edge_of_sanity | just off the highway, beautiful spot overlooking the river Delta. stunning sunsets with constant chirping of birds from the valley. we didn't have binoculars but if you have one would be a nice spot for birdwatching. absolutely no wind protection (we were lucky to have almost no wind). Odd truck passes every hour but otherwise quite. the ground along the highway until the fence is hard so any vehicle can do it no need to worry (not sure if it's the same after rain, please check). |

dgrolfe | Parked to one side and walked up to ask. She said international price was 8.76, but we could negotiate. Ended up paying 6bob. Note that one of the workers was very nervous about it and kept saying, “the cameras “. So...don’t just pull up and expect to negotiate. |

newbrider | As others have said, what a surprise, really really nice place, and in my opinion cheap. 600 for a single, 1100 matrimonial. Motorcycle parking is done by riding through the reception. BTW if you're just entering Argentina for the first time : the prices aren't rising, the value of the peso is falling. So if you're reading on ioverlander that something was X amount 3 months ago, then be prepared for a different price now. And a tip, use western union to send yourself money in Argentina instead of using the bank, WU give a MUCH higher rate than the bank and the fees are small (bank fees here are atrocious. |

rookieoftheyear | Beautiful grassy area surrounded by a pine forest focused on preservation of the forest. For day use by locals (or you), playground and trails into the forest, used for educational purposes as well. Crowded on a Sunday but everyone was gone by 1700. The owner, Nicholas was happy to have us in our Tacoma for one night, 35qz pp. Not for big rigs. Parking area only offered a few flat spots. The grassy area is flat for tent camping as well. Flush toilets and running water (nonpotable though!) No food or drinking water available on site. No WiFi, just spotty 3g. Gate is locked all day and Nicholas lives on the grounds. Felt extremely safe and welcomed. The morning after, a group of locals arrived for what seemed like a church service/gathering. Everyone was so nice. Pets are not allowed but he let us keep our husky in the car until everyone left. There’s one older female dog on the grounds but keeps to herself and is a good security system. Great stay for one night! |
