Great terraced park that offers parking for any size rig. Hotel and restaurant on premises. upper terrace bigger rigs, lower terrace smaller and has pool and 4 showers that are "adequate" Wi-Fi is very limited and does not work all that well away from the restaurant. Very friendly and accommodating. $200 pesos got us a good level spot within steps of the restaurant. Although some guides and signs indicate they take Visa and MasterCard, they may not if the internet is acting up. Bring cash....pesos and dollars work. A couple of the staff speak English, but with just a couple of words in Spanish under your belt it isn't a problem. Food here is very good and reasonably priced. if you have eaten at Rice and Beans in San Felipe, it is the same owners.

if you are on the upper terrace there is a bit of road noise but very quiet on the lower level.

There is a small pool that in warmer weather would be delightful.

This is a busy place if there are any races in town and is well known (and used) by the off road racing crowd.

C’est super cool! Un peu chère peut-être? Mais le lieu est vraiment parfait et sécuritaire. Piscine et resto à proximité de la ville et les deux pieds dans l’eau on en demande pas plus.

Great stop, close enough to feel like BLM but still have cell service and antenna TV reception. We were here a year ago same campsite so we had to stop overnight again. Some traffic noise

For us, the hike was beautiful, through a forest with big trees and flowers. For 12 km we needed 3 hours, but we walk not very fast. The trail is in good condition.

Nice park, this is my second time here, good level area, shade trees, store, game room, pet friendly, propane, dump area , quiet most times.
Have age restricted regarding RV, will not allow stay for longer than 1 month if rv is 10 years or older.

Small RV park with tight spots but fit a few class As.

One of the very best cg. We booked a site without hook up for $33. Clean bathrooms, laundry.... They have a café, a heated pool, and pizza delivery. The grounds are park-like. Everything is perfectly maintained. Super friendly staff. Bus to downtown, they give you all informations in the office. 5+ Stars.

Now there is a picnic area with a sign to stay only from 9:00 to 21:00. From our experience with the "nice" Chilenos you cannot stay here anymore overnight.

We did the Mariposa sanctuary on the day and ask for staying the night. The guy ask us 300 pesos. We manage to pay 150 pesos for the night with no service.
The parking lot is huge as there are dozen of big tourist bus during the day.
Look safe as there is a guard for the night.

Better than expected stay by the lagoon 15 kms from Puerto Escondido. Very friendly family with a great restaurant on site. Best for dry camping, but basic 15 Amp electricity available if needed. Dump point also available. 25 pesos on the collectivo to get into town. I wouldn't bring a big 5th wheel in here, but a 36' motorhome without a toad would fit if there wasn't anybody else here.

Closed for 'remodeling'. Might open in a couple of months or a year, guard couldn't tell me much more.

Now its a Shell station. but you can still camp for the night, it still has the grassy areas and bbqs.

Keep Your Daydream boondocking location from Season 8

This exact spot is gone now. The water is rising. The path leading there is still here, so just park somewhere close by. Don't know how long before this whole spot is under water.

The normal exit from the D-road is now closed off. So take a small dirt road of the new main road. (Just look them up on satellite Google Maps.)

We had a quiet night here.

The Playground is the perfect campsite to stay in Kampot. For families it‘s a blessing as they are very children friendly and have a playground and a pool in their yard. A roof top bar with cold drinks and good food is available too. They have showers and toilets as well outside as inside.

We really loved this place as you are near the city center and you can use the whole house to relax.
We paid a small fee for the campsite.

STADIUM SPORTS BAR... what a welcome.. he opened the door and said “Welcome Home” and we really felt home directly. In the morning he baked delious german Bread. He had learned from german bike travellers... a really Nice place. Thank you do much from the Dutch travellers...

Very nice place by the sea, with beach access. Houses within sight. Very quietly.
Sehr schöner Platz am Meer, mit Strandzugang. Häuser in Sichtweite. Sehr ruhig.

Toilets and a water tab with filter. Low preasure, only recommended for small tanks.

nice white beach with some picnic huts. Beautiful sea. Not far from toilets and water tap. Locals come at sunset and leave when it is dark. nice and quiet at night.
