Good Place to be for a Night . No Wind at all

We tried stopping in on Sept 10, 2020 and they were closed. no reason posted. Gate closed. too bad...

4x4 needed to access the spot. First 50m is a rocky climb for a car o campervan. Street tyres not recommended.

Flat spot on top, good wind cover and quiet away from the road.

Nice if you have had a long drive and just wanna sleep one night close by the highway. Hidden by the woods and not too noisy.

National monument, waterfall. Camping next to the river with the falls just 150 meters walk. Wild camping. Natural bush and peaceful. Although they are supposed to charge for entry no one was around to collect the entrance fee.

Apparently this will be the new location for paying Pugu Hills Forest Reserve fees starting from October 2020.

Large campsite hundred meters from the road, easy access, forest fees to pay at the reserve office farther on the main road 10$ pp foreigners. Here starts the hiking trail to bats cave. Water available from a tank. Partly shady.

A cave with thousands of bats. Possible to hike from campsites to here. Fees for guides and Pugu Hills Forest Reserve apply.

Lovely wild camping! Just you and nature. Looking down onto the Mujila waterfalls and rapids. 30km from the Mwinilunga - Lumwana T 5 road.

Laundromat with three washing mashines (2 for 9 kilo and 1 for 14 kilo) and two dryer. Open 8 a.m. to 22 p.m. You can ONLY pay with 1 euro coins and the changing machine is currently out of order. There was only the big one free and we paid 7 Euro for 40 minutes.

big camp, lots of big trees for shade, nice small black sand beach, restaurant/bar, pool, nice toilets (although no seats in men's room? or toilet paper). 9€ per person + tourist tax, we paid 22€ for 2 people/2 motos/1 tent. wifi is €5 per day, lol. washing machines too!

Lovely campsite with green lawns and a large dam. Canoes available to rent and a BBQ on the barge for a small fee. We paid R350 a night for four adults and a dog

propane refill station. + gas close to the 132. The guy that filled our tank was really nice, our tank was leaking a bit and he did not hesitate to take his tool out and help us out.

Shower, laundry machine and potable water still available but no more dump station

Free parking with lots of campers. Great spot if you’re coming in from the Euro tunnel and need somewhere close for the night.

Great place to camp or park for the night. Very quiet.... lots of spots to park.... maintained road to and from. Places to fish.... stream. Great Verizon coverage!

Finca Sommerwind is still the same wonderful camping as it was in the past! And Hans ist still there as a phantastic host. If you need a place to
rest or to plan your futher trip, Finca Sommerwind is the perfect calm place. If you need help with anything, Hans will do his best for you.
We left our camper in his care and he is doing a great job with the aduana.

Beautiful campsite, 14 spots available. About half back onto the lake, the other half in the forest. There is a sign saying daily fee $15 but no fee box, so I think it's only when someone comes around to collect. No one connected when we were there.

Lovely little campsite run by volunteers next to the A9. There are toilets, showers, electricity and water available. Next to it is a beautiful lake with an amazing view. Perfect for one or two nights. We paid 14,40€ for 2 people and a van. Someone comes in the evening to collect the money. If you arrive later, there is a box at the entrance (Please, pay to keep this place beautiful and clean).

Car park at start of hiking route. Very quiet at night and sheltered in trees

It’s forbidden to drive on the cliff. Fine 250 - 25000€. Big sign just at the entrance.

Huge camping with separate places to motorhomes and tends. Power 110 and 220V, water, wifi and exit to the beach. R$25,00pp plus power. Big rig friend. Staff very nice and helpful. Altemar fixes and does maintenance in motorhomes and trailer.

No indications...beautiful place, view of gulf St-Laurence

Beautiful lake views with a trail or road that brings you there from the campground. We car camped and ended up in one of the spots with a neighbor directly next to us. Not terrible but you certainly don’t have as much privacy as weld camping. There was potable water and pit toilets throughout.

Quiet, dark parking lot, more inconspicuous than right by the splash park. Directly next to the washrooms. Nice place to spend a night.
