Nice pull off. Road traffic quiets down at night. Great place to stay for an early start for the dunes. There were 2 other vehicles here overnight.

Nice campsites just like the rest of the comments mentioned. Good cell coverage. Sisters is right down the road if you need anything.

dexter creek, right near trailhead/ creek crossing (which would need something nimbler than our 25’). There’s a nice flat spot by trail parking, but we leveled and backed in right next to the creek. Nothing like falling asleep with the sound of the creek. A few vehicles crossed in the pm/am, but quiet all night. Kids loved playing in the creek. There’s a third flat spot up a sort of ramp but someone had left their pop up up there.

This Cabella's location DOES NOT have a dump site anymore. Ok to park RV overnight, safe and relatively quiet.

Cabellas removed their black water dump station one week ago. You can still park here overnight. Relatively quiet although one of our neighbors ran his engine all night. There are not many options for free camping in and around Louisville. Strong Verizon signal.

Great views, It’s a little tricky to get up to but totally worth the time

Nice, clean, very quiet campground with a lot of trails. Early Wednesday afternoon and lots of sites available.

No booking as we didn’t plan to stay here but there is space and if you pull in late afternoon they can’t send you away. Tuckshop open in morning and afternoon for some basics and cold drinks! 1015P in total for 2 people for 2 days permit and one night camping on a sandy pitch.... Expensive yes but how often do we go here?

Site AC3. Level, fire ring, small trail at back of site leading to flowing creek. Very nice.

Very clean campsites. Ablutions clean. Very quiet. Overlander trucks stay for free. Nice pub. Good food. Big rig friendly.

Lugar ótimo para estacionar em Barra Grande, em frente à praia, do lado do restaurante Trabalha Brasil. Não pega celular (claro e vivo), mas no restaurante tem Wi-Fi, comida boa (café da manhã e almoço) em um preço ok e banheiro. A praia é linda, vale a pena ficar para o pôr do sol! Nos sentimos seguros. Dormimos 3 noites por aqui.

Nice place in front of Barra Grande beach, quite, no facilities but close by a nice restaurant with Wi-Fi. No cel signal. Stay for the sunset, it worth it. We felt safe and stayed for 3 nights.

Drove through, campground is a wreck! Looks like forest service has abandoned this campground. Sites in the lake water, fallen trees in sites, pit toilets are closed. DO NOT recommend.

We spent 1 night at the rest area. We were alone and was very quiet.

Pasamos una noche en el Área de descanso. Estábamos solos así que estuvo muy tranquila. No hay servicios de ningún tipo, solo algunos juego para niños y fogones.

Quiet, mostly empty on a Wednesday. Water is turned on. I'm getting a couple intermittent bars of at&t service. Bathrooms by site #25 were very recently cleaned.

solid spot. near I40 is main downfall. water tap and pet area. good Verizon signal. no brighy lights

Lots of open space for van lifers and the like. Follow the roundabout road just to the right. Lots of flat land to pull onto just off the road. Plenty of tire tracks where others have done the same.

Nice spot! Just down the road from Great Sand Dunes NP and fairly quiet! There were only 2 of us here. It was definitely buggy though- my pup didn’t appreciate all the little flies trying to bite her haha. Right off the side of the road, not a busy road at all, but the cars definitely go fast so something to consider if you have pets or kids!
